Will not let me select new font from Character menu - have had to open Characters panel separately 

I've been using photoshop all morning, specifically the generative AI feature and it's been working great. As of 15 minutes ago it simply stopped. I installed the newest update, restarted my pc, and tried several tests with new files and simple promps like 'beach' or 'grass', etc. Nothing. I get the same error every time. Is there an issue right now with this feature?

Hola.La actualización 25.9 y también la versión 25.10 de Photoshop Beta tienen un error en la herramienta "Quitar" y por éste motivo instalé la versión anterior,  25.8  para poder usar el programa mientras no se resuelve ese error.Pero al instalar una versión anterior, Photoshop me muestra una ventana Pop-Up donde indica  "Time to update". Ésta ventana permanece inmovil enmedio del monitor y no se puede quitar ni cerrar.Soy absolutamente consciente de que no tengo instalada la última versión. Y me parece lógico que ustedes me avisen de que ésta no es la última versión y que sería adecuado actualizar Photoshop a una versión más reciente.Pero ésta ventana "pop-up" se queda fija en la pantalla y oculta las barras de menús y la barra de capas e incluso la foto que estoy editando,  lo que impide utilizar el programa de forma normal y resulta MUY MOLESTO.Creo que sería muy conveniente que ustedes permitan que el usuario pueda cerrar la ventanita para poder segui

With the latest update of PS, I am seeing a clear line on my canvas when attempting to generative fill or expand the edges. I'm using Mac OS 12.6.8. I know this was a known issue back in August. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this again? 

I've been waiting for some explanation about the "new" Selection Brush tool that was recently introduced in PS beta. Has Adobe said anything? So far I haven't been able to find an official description of this tool...The icon resembles the Quick Selection tool, but it is slightly different. The only options are add/substract, opacity, size/hardness (no brush tip shape or anything else) and overlay color.  As far as I can see, it is pretty much the same as painting with the regular Brush tool in Quick Mask mode, without entering Quick Mask. But there must be something else to it...?

The button does nothing. I tried on multiple images, restarted the program and my computer. Verified the app and my drivers are up to date. Version of the app. v25.12Platform and OS version. PC app, Windows 11Basic steps to reproduce the problem. It simply doesn't work on any image.Expected result and actual result  Expected it to do something. It did nothing.

Hi Team,I would need help in getting PS(beta) version installed in my iMac. I can see the Beta apps option in the Macbook creative cloud, but in the iMac creative cloud the Beta option aren't enabled or not available. Can someone help me understand how to avail that option. I am trying to use the Firefly addon in PS. AR

It is imposible to make a gradient in an alpha chanel.Why?????

In the first instance, there is an unsightly chair with a coat on it which detracts from the overall image.  I have used the Snagit software to illustrate.  

Having troubles using my generative fill for images. Any time I try to use the fill, whether or not there is a prompt, it comes up with the alert message below! I have updated my Beta constantly, restarted my laptop, tried uninstalling Beta and reinstalling it and nothing has worked!

Le réglage de la teinte et de la saturation ne fonctionne plus AVEC LE DOIGT. Le doigt reconnait bien la couleur mais quand on glisse sur l'image : aucune modification. Par contre la tirette fonctionne correctement.Depuis la dernière mise à jour 25.12.0 m.2698 d'aujourd'hui

I have both photoshop 2024 and photoshop beta installed on windows 10. I'm trying to get rid of the beta. Creative Cloud doesn't show that I have it. Nor does windows settings/apps & features.  It's annoying because it is the default for psd files and Windows won't let me change the default.  Any ideas how to get rid of it?

What could be the problem that I can use generative fill only with vpn in the browser? last time this problem disappeared only after updating windows (I don't know how it is connected, but it helped). now I don't know how to solve it. 

Ps (Beta) Generative & Filters do not recognize photos from LRC Photos Merge HDR.

I am running the latest photoshop beta. It crashes when I resize a layer within a clipping mask. It hangs, then crashes. Just recently I have been finding with Beta 25.12 (m.2694) that I am sometimes unable to use the Ctrl D shotcut to turn off a selection.  It happens when the Contextual Task Bar has a De-Select button, and I have to use the mouse and click on that button to continue working.  AFAICT this is intermittant, and I can't reproduce it at will.   I'm interested to know if anyone else has seen this before I try resetting Preferences?  I'll add to this thread if I can make it happen again.

Bonjour, PS s'est mis a jour seul, je rencontre plusieurs bug : je ne peux plus changer le mode de fusion de mon calque (de "normal" à "lumiere tamisee" par exemple), ou encore enregistrer ma photo en format "web herite", ou encore utiliser le pinceau densite + ou - soit disant "impossible d'utiliser l'outil densite + car les images 32 bits par couche ne sont pas prises en charge (convertir l'image en 8 ou 16 bits par couche pour l'edition)" en messqge d'erreur. Tout fonctionnait tres bien hier soir ....  Je vous remercie

Photoshop Beta 25.11 : modifications on masks are not displayed on thumbnail in the layer panel.You don't have a visual feedback anymore on the layer panel on what you did on a layer mask.A bug with the latest beta version.

Some functions of the extension "Stoll-artwork" do not work or don't work properly with Photoshop Beta directly when you click on them (Create Color Overview, Float Jacquard Check, Stoll-ikat plating Check, Knitting Pencils (Basic und Stoll-ikat plating Pencils)). After the update to v.25.12 it seams that The function of the Generative fill is not allowing  access to it

Below is an example. I used the exact phrase for both the beta generate tool and the tool included in the current photoshop version. The prompt was "Realistic City Under a darkened sky".  This is just an example but it is has been consistenet. Everything I try to generate is highly saturated and uses basic graphics. The tool for generating based on a reference works great. Just minor issues with the beta's scene generate.  Hope I can be of help with this.  Thank you for your time.

I've had this problem in the desktop app and online versions. When I am using the brush and eraser I use 'B' and 'E' to toggle between them. I've noticed that sometimes it will immediately switch back after I tell it to change. Sometimes it doesn't respond to the shortcuts at all.
