This is one of the most exciting features I have seen. I use Filter Forge sometimes, but it is clunky to have an image open in another program. I think parametric filters will be able to do many of the things Filter Forge does while having the power of being a native smart filter. I'm learning how to use Substance Designer just to create my own Parametric Filters. The filters fill gaps I have always felt were missing from Photoshop.I currently mostly use the filters with photo compositing, doing things like lightning effects and "degrading" things like 3D renders that look too perfect. I think it also has amazing potential for uses like text effects, 3D effects, metallic effects, etc.There is only one major thing I would love to see changed. I would love for it to apply to the layer I'm on, and not make a duplicate, especially if it is already a smart object. Have several photos (jpg), showing framed paintings. Use "select subject" to make it easier to change the background. This would take a few seconds in the current PS, but takes almost a minute in this beta version. This has been driving me crazy for a good year now so I can't just blame one version of photoshop, however whenever I apply for example a 'Multiply' to a layer the menu jumps to a completely different blending mode (luminosity seems to be it's favourite).  At first I thought I just wasn't being careful when applying but even when I KNOW I'm being careful it still does it.  And not just to the next blend mode down, it literally jumps halfway down the menu.  Tell me I'm not crazy and this is happening to somebody else too?

Layer menu got stuck, cannot click Layer menu but I can click the History to redo and undo.

I have some custom Keyboard shortcuts that I use all the time to help make my job faster/easier.  The issue is that I need to re-create the shortcuts with each update of Adobe Photoshop (Beta).  When the non-beta gets released, all my shortcut keys remain the same.  Why is this not the case for Photoshop (Beta)?

Jjust letting you know, files are opening a whole lot quicker from Bridge than they do in the normal release - like a whole lot quicker!!!THank you very very, much.This is on a 2017 intel iMac - 4.2GHz, Radeon Pro 580 8GB, 40GB ram, 500Gig SSD, Vetura 13.6.7

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable automatic bullet points on Photoshop? I've been using the new beta version and when a create a text layer he creates a bullet text automatically and i can't edit the bullet point.

Version 25.11.0 Photoshop. It is happening that I select text layers and normal layers and do no appear as selected.Cannot rotate them with the mouse, but I can move them with the keyboard arrow. 

I am editing base edits/corrections in Capture One (latest updated version). Historically, in order to remove distractions in the image and do a general clean up I have used PS Beta. The process is select 'Edit With' in C1, select PS Beta, the image exports as a TIFF file, open in PS and I use the Remove function successfully.  I have a small break from the Adobe eco system (a few months), restarted my account, updated all applications and when using the above process today I see a corruption in the image (see attached files). Interestingly, the corruption is not something that has ever been in the original image. Other images seem to be exporting OK.... any ideas to resolve this as I'm keen to use this image.

Hello, I  had all the tools available on the left but looks like I must've clicked something and they disappeared and now I have no idea how to bring that panel back. Please help, it's urgent!

I'm trying to get into using AI Generative Erase tools, but odd (I think) behavior I've experienced was with an image in which I was trying to remove a car from the foreground. The good news is that in a way it did so, but the bad news is that it just replaced it with a different car! As if my problem wasn't the presence of the car itself but what kind of car it is! Obviously that's not the case -- what I was hoping for was a normal-looking street where the car was located. Is this is a known bug, or am I doing something wrong here? Thank you.

Hello - not sure if this is even the right place to ask these types of questions but here we go :I'm trying to create Pixel Art using a 3 x 3 square pencil brush on a large canvas.  I have a created a 3 pixel Grid.  The Grid is visible.  I have turned on Snap to Grid.  But the pencil tool does not 'snap' to the grid properly.  I would like to create pencil strokes in 3 pixel increments but it still lets me glide the pencil through the grid lines.  Please see the image below for clarity. Thank you in advance. 

Photoshop Beta 25.11 : modifications on masks are not displayed on thumbnail in the layer panel.You don't have a visual feedback anymore on the layer panel on what you did on a layer mask.A bug with the latest beta version.

After using the Generative Fill it shows 3 variants of the imagem, so we can choose, right? But it disappeared from my Photoshop, even in the properties part... I don't know where or what I can do to have the opitions again

I have been using Photoshop Beta for about 6 months on my Windows Desktop 10.  Yesterday all the shortcuts failed.  I am using Version 25.11.0.  I wanted to report that, having found this community I followed a suggestion to: 1: Close all programmes2: Open Photoshop Beta while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Delete.  It produce a blue screen! But, having dismissed this, all my shortcuts have been restored.   This is the first time I have lost the shortcuts and so happy the suggestion worked I thought I would share it.

Greetings! For 4 days since I installed the latest version of Photoshop Beta I have had a problem, every time I try to access the settings menu of the Photosop application it closes without giving any warning, even regardless of whether I have a file that I have been editing and not I have saved in several minutes, it comes out without warning that I should save the changes. I already uninstalled it and reinstalled it and nothing, it still gives the same error. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

Hice un mockup y usé Perspective Warp en un objeto inteligente para agregar el diseño sobre la forma de la reposera. Al salvar el archivo .PSB se aplica dejando afuera una parte del diseño. I saved a group of adjustment layers as a preset in "Adjustments->Adjustmnet Presets->Your Presets".  When I add those adjustment layers to an image using "Adjustmnet Presets->Your Presets" it is completely wrong. If I add the adjustment layers to the image myself it looks as it shoud (the bottom less blue one).When I add via "adjustment presets" it looks like the extreme green/blue image.All the adjument layers are the same so I don't understand why the difference in look. This image was created using the new AI in Photoshop.  Not my image. I will say the entire reason I'm using the beta is because "Adjustment Presets->Your presets" wasn't working in the regulal version of PS because one of the layers has a blending mode that was causing an error.  So, maybe this is related to that.  In the regular version of PS I can add the preset but then it's greyed out and I can't use it or delete it. PS 25.11.0MacOS 14.5

I checked with several file formats, and I used to be able to import MP4 for reference and now I can't. Normal PS dont have this problem. Thank you Version 25.10.0, MacBook Pro M1 Max OS Sonoma 14.5

Currently, the latest version of Photoshop beta is 25.11.0, and there is no change even if you use the legacy Healing Brush tool from several previous versions of this version.I am currently using Mac Studio M2 Max and the OS version is Ventura 13.4.

When I create a sky replacement, I like to brush out part of the foreground changes that Sky Replacment makes. So, I create a mask and start brushing out unwanted changes in the foreground. In Photoshop 2024, this works well: brush, and a stroke is created in real time. However, in Photoshop Beta, the brush strokes lag behind. Removing "home" screen so you can get to work using Photoshop (Beta) is a litte more than using Preferences>General>stop auto home screen. Have to also click on Workspaces again, open image, close image, close P.S. And do that process one or two more times. Who ever it is who comes up with worthless junk like the Photoshop "home" screen - fire them.
