The result is no longer Bridge but Creative Cloud Desktop. Bridge is wanted and has worked for years without a problem. Solution required please. 

Once again, I can't save PSD files because "of a program error", and PS creates duplicates and names them like this: "Adobe Photoshop 202236825051152618", so every time you save your file, a copy is created with a similar name.That happened with the last version and followed the steps you post here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/program-error-opening-psd.html, and NONE of them worked, so I had to delete duplicates and rename files. After the last update, everything seemed to be back to normal, but this happened again.So yes, that bug is back.

Hi everyone.  I have a brand new laptop and have installed PS. Everything, and I mean everything is updated on PS and the laptop. PS has been running great and then all of a sudden when choosing a mask, it crashes and this message pops up: The graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error.Due to a run-time error, GPU acceleration has been disabled for the remainder of the session. What can I do????????? Please help. 

Please fix the inability to add verticies for polygon laso selections outside of the right and bottom edge of a zoomed in window. (Try being zoomed in and making polygon points to the very edge right or bottom with a Wacom pen/tablet)Please fix the freeze when zoomed in and panning with the spacebar/hand. (A tough one to debug because it is intermittant and I cannot come up with a sequence to reproduce). Those of us who use Photoshop every day to retouch and composite images struggle with these simple roadblocks which used to work updates ago. I vote to stabalize the day to day bread and butter functionality before adding more bells and whistles.

Good morning. I installed Adobe CS 5.5 on a new computer and I'm getting a message that the program is already installed on two computers. This is partially true, but I've read that the activation servers for Adobe CS 5.5 are no longer working, so I'm wondering if this is true and if I deactivate the program on the old computer, will it work on the new one? Or is this message simply because the servers are down and if I deactivate on the old computer, will the program not work on either the old or the new one? I should add that in the customer panel, under Products, I have the CS 5.5 package registered, but only one device is listed under active Devices, not two. This is likely because the internet on one of the old computers hasn't been working for a while. Hence, I'm concerned that deactivating on this computer without internet might not work, and I still won't be able to use it on either the old or the new one.

What is the difference between Lasso Tool & Polygonal Lasso Tool? In my view the only difference is Lasso Tool has less control whereas Polygonal Lasso Tool has more control when using.

The next graphic artist who answers this in a simple, understandable way for a non-graphic person will be the first. I have the entire Creative Cloud at my disposal and just want to place one photo on the left, and one photo on the right. I would like cleft and right photos to be in one .PNG.  Like the most basic-ass collage in collageable. From what I've been able to ascertain, there is no easy way to do this for basic ass people like myself in the entire Creative Cloud. 

Hola buenas tardes.....Se esta trabajando mediante Photoshop suite...  Adobe Photoshop cs2 se ha construido un archivo psd con un motón de capas y con ellas se construyen animaciones.....Qué sucede que cuando son un montón de capas y se selecciona guardar para Web y luego gif o se bloquea o hace la indicación que insuficiente espacio...Se ha investigado un poco y parece que máximo 40 Mbyts......Claro con todo el trabajo que ha costado crear los archivos se estan buscando maneras para dar la orden al programa que pueda coger mayor espacio para las operaciones que parece imposible hacer hasta ahora......Pero no se ha encontrado la manera de la configuracíón de ese espacio de trabajo...Alquien le ha sucedido algo así y cómo ha resuelto el problema?se ha probado a instalar nuevamente el programa a utilizar versión online ha utilizar herramientas externas pero nada de eso ha convencido....Si alguien tiene solución a este problema se agradecería información.[Removed personal information

Hi! I work freelance in a high-volume e-commerce platform–at a significantly reduced rate than what I'm used to. It's on my equipment and I'm using my own software.On Thursday, I discovered that I had run out of AI credits, which are used to make object selections and remove defects –a strange occurrence, especially since when I called Adobe, the representative mentioned that these tools were under the "saturation" tool.The question is, and for me it feels bad–how do I get more credits? I dislike that Adobe wants to charge me for something I believe should be included with the Creative Cloud plan. Yes, I know my client should be paying for this; the question is, how?

I am using the latest version of Photoshop (23.0.2) on MacOS (11.6.1). If I change the mode to 16 bits per channel and export a PNG (without the option to convert to 8-bit for smaller files selected in the export menu), the exported PNG only has 8 bits of depth. If I export as TIFF, I am able to get a 16-bit TIFF file. From the help center documentation it seems like it should be entirely possible to save 16-bit PNGs. I have no plugins installed.

When working with masks, I can refine with the brush tool or the global refinement sliders for initial selections, but I can't preview alterations to an existing mask...at least not in the large image—I can see it in the tiny thumbnail in the properties panel! I'm watching tutorials where people are doing this (I'm trying to learn how to use the new Refine Hair feature), but even following along with the tutorials I can't preview my changes to a selection within the Select and Mask interface. When I hit ok, I see the refined mask, but not until then. What am I doing wrong, or is it a glitch? Why would I be able to see the changes to the thumbnail but not on the artboard? *I've tried toggling on and off the Graphics Processor settings as I read in another thread, but it didn't work. 

I have a folder of older (2018) RW2 files that will open in camera raw and allow adjustment, but then they will not open into Photoshop regardless of whether I ask for them to open as smart objects or not. I converted them all to dng and still get the same behavior. Jpeg and psd images from the folder open properly. Since I have other folders of images from the same camera from about the same date that open properly, I tried moving some of the "misbehaving" files to one of these folders and now they work normally. Looking at the various folders with get info, they all seem to have the same permissions, etc. Any thoughts about what might be happening here? Hi, I've got a photoshop document set up to centre a publication cover within the format (PDF as a Smart Object) against a background that's a zoom on the same Smart Object, faded down slightly. The intention is to output that as a JPG as an online promo thing for the publication. I'm finding this works fine for most cover outputs until I link to a certain type of publication (a newsletter type of item), and when I go Layer - Smart Objects - Replace Contents on that, instead of pulling the new one in, it throws up a warning 'could not replace the smart objects because this is not an Adobe Photoshop PDF image file'. I'm not sure why it's doing this on this particular item - all the PDFs involved have been exported from InDesign source files. Hope someone can advise? Best HG  

My home PC's C drive crashed, and I had to replace it with a new one and reinstall all my software. I have Adobe Creative Suite through my work, and it is installed on both my work and home computers. Additionally, I have an older version of Photoshop that I prefer to use, specifically CS5. When I tried to install and activate Photoshop CS5 on my new C drive, it indicated it is already installed on two devices, my home and work PCs. I tried deactivating my home PC, but I continue to receive the same error message that it can't be activated on a third device. When I try to contact support through chat, it sends me to my company's IT department. They can't help me with this. I need Adobe's help activating my old software. What do I do?

BTW,  zero progress on What's coming - Sharpen your image, Guides and grids, Smart filters, Shapes, and Extended background. 1) Improved Remove Tool - The tool is faster and allows you to remove an object by brushing or circling around it. 

Hi, would anyone be able to help please?  When I go to Neural Filters in Photoshop, it won't allow me to download any of the features listed here, specifically the 'Colorize' feature. When I click 'download', the icon spins for a half second and returns to the dowload icon. How can I fix this? This worked fine on Photoshop 2024. 

Im on windows 11 running photoshop 26.4.When I select File then Open an explorer window opens to select my file. But, when I select my file, instead of loading it, a new dialogue window appears confirmig the size of the new file which is the same dimensions of the file I was attempting to open. 

Just installed the newest Photoshop 2025 (version 26.0.0) And the icon for adding reference image to generativ fill doesnt show up in the Contextual taskbar. So how do i add a referens image to the generativ fill ?

Hello,I am using Hiipoo sublimation ink and A-Sub 125 gram paper on an Epson ET-2803 printer (Converted for sublimation) and photoshop as my main design program.  I'm using windows as my OS on a Lenovo desktop. My colors haven't been printing correctly out of photoshop so I tried installing the recommened ICC profile from the Hiipoo website .  The problem is, once I install the profile it doesnt show up in my photoshop print settings.  I think the file is in the correct place because I've installed two other ICC profiles from different sublimation ink companies and they are showing in my print settings, its just the hiipoo profile that I cant get to install...I've tried closing evertyhing down, restarting, reinstalling, all that but I still do not see the profile in photoshop.  Has anyone else expericence this with this ICC profile?  Or does anyone know a work-around or fix? I am somewhat new to photoshop and still learning so I apologize if this is some k
