Olá , não estou conseguindo desabilitar meu pincel. O pincel é o desabilitar o pincel a cada traçado, eu quero que a visualização dele fique na opção transparente. Obrigado.

I edit a pic and save it to a folder, closing it out of Photoshop, which remains open. If I then try to change the name of the containing folder or move it via Windows Explorer, Windows 10 tells me: "The action cannot be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program. Please close the blah blah ...." I can however rename the file, but still not then move or rename the folder. Nor can I move the folder or rename it via Bridge. This is resolved if I close Photoshop. Photoshop seems to retain some memory space or such so that Windows interprets as the file open. It does this even if within Photoshop: 1. I use edit/purge/all, 2. open another file (or create one) in Photoshop and save it somewhere (to occupy the program) or, 3. clear the "recent files" list. The is very annoying as I must close Photoshop and reopen, breaking my workflow. Any ideas?   {Thread renamed by moderator}

I'm trying to use a stylistic set for an open type font (Lexend Deca, a Google font) in Photoshop v 26.4.1 on a Macbook Pro M1 (Sequoia 15.2) but the option is greyed out in the type panel's context menu. I use it without any problem in IndDesign and Illustrator.(Attached image is in Swedish GUI.)

Photoshop v26.4.1Windows 11  Keyboard shortcut SHIFT+ALT+R, to select Clear blend mode when using Brush Tool, no longer works for me. Every other blend mode shortcut listed here works as expected. 

I have a complaint which is as follows, when I select a subject with the lasso tool the space bar does not cause canvas movement, and neither the backspace button is working

I'm trying to make contact sheets with around 200 photos - everything is working great except it insists on including the .JPG in all the photo labels. I went through and deleted it off all the photo names (so Few_House.JPG became just Few_House) but it still prints them on the contact sheet. Any ideas on how to remove that, other than going through and marking up each individual label?

Hey all! Setting up a new, 2025 Macbook Pro, M4 (running Sequoia 15.3.1). I selected 'Enable Generator' via PS settings > plugins, like normal.. But here's the problem:I'm getting the 'error message' I've read about on here: "There was a problem with Generator. If the problem persists, please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/error---there-is-a-problem-with-generator--occurs-when-launchin...".. I use this feature a lot for quickly saving out jpegs and I can't get the error message to go away or the image assets generator to work. Is there a newer, similar feature everyone's using instead? Here's everything I've tried:I've read threads on here, read the article linked in the error message - none of the solutions seem to work.Am running the most up to date version of PS, tried in PS Beta also.Have checked/unchecked 'enable generator', restarted photoshop, CC and my computer.Don't have any anti-virus software outside of whatever is built into Macbooks.N

When I switch from one PSD to another, Photoshop changes the brush tools. How can I stop this?

I find myself frequently selecting several hundred files to make contact sheets (using bridge) and then can find no way to print all of them at once in Photoshop.Is there some solution to this? some command that prints all open files? I know it can be done in Lightroom, but that doesn't help since these files have not been imported to Lightroom and are just for a one time use...thanks,tom

Alright, so I've tried both the Batch Update Smart Object and Batch Mockup Templates and I get an error message for the same line (line 370 on Batch Update Smart Object and line 381 Batch Mockup Templates). I want an addition to this script so that all the separate PDFs can be merged into a single PDF. The objective is to convert a GIF into a PDF. Here's what I do:1) open a GIF (containing layers) in Photoshop.2) execute the JS, which saves each layer of the GIF as a separate PDF at the same location within a temp folder.3) The third part requires merging all those PDFs into a single PDF. I want to learn photoshop, suggest me the best path to learn

Sometimes when working, between 30 minutes and an hour, the canvas and navigator will suddenly become frozen. The rest of the program doesn't freeze but the canvas/navigator does not update. To make matters worse, when this happens any attempt to save will not complete. For example, if you save-as the document the dialogs will close as normal but the file won't save and will still have an asterisk. If you try to legacy export for web it says an error occured. If you close the program it will ask if you want to save, and if you say yes it goes back to the main program and never saves. Latest version of Photoshop 2025, Adobe Cloud, and latest version of Windows 11 as of 3/12/2025. Default Photoshop settings (happens on a fresh install, already tried reinstalling). Nvidia RTX 3050 on desktop. I want to make Adobe aware of this issue. Hopefully it's happening to others as well. When I had Photoshop 2024 and it never happened. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

My pc runs windows 10 and at the end of the year it will not be supported. My pc will not accept windows 11. That means I will have to buy an new pc. The photoshop version I have is CS5.1 extended. It is on a cd that I bought years ago. It also has the product code. I know that when it comes time to set up the new pc, I have to deactivate photoshop on the old pc before downloading it on to the new pc. I know that this version is not supported anymore with updates. My question is, will I still be able to download it from the cd onto the new pc? What preparation or information do I need to do before I do the download? I hope that I can still use this version because I can't afford the newer photoshops.Thanks,Terry

I'm looking for a tool or a JavaScript that let me know the color mode of a SmartObject in Photoshop. I have copied objects from an Illustrator file and pasted it in a PSD file. The PSD could be in RGB or CMYK, and similarly, the AI objects could be in CMYK or RGB. I want a JavaScript that tells me the color mode of the SmartObject.  Can anyone help on this, please.

So I have written a script with extendscript, only to realise it can be easily decrypted, and shared.  So I would like to protect it and sell it some way without having to rewrite the whole thing in UXP which wasn't quite as well documented when I made the decision to code with the legacy extendscript. Is there anyway I can protect it?Here are some potential avenues I would like to explore and would be grateful if anyone has any experience or dos/donts etc.  Turn it into a CEP plugin like so, basically eval the whole script once fetched. I know it's not overly secure but it feel the script would be better protected than a .jsxbin on its own. I'd b using the legacy interface I made with the the original script. I believe this is possible.
