When I try to open graphics I purchased with my photoshop elements they will not open as editable PNG transparent background type they should be. When hitting open on the PSD file photo shop opens and shows a box that says "This document uses an unsupported color mode..." and suggests "convert to RGB. When you convert it to RBG you cannot edit anything...The only other file types that came in the package that is supposed to be changed and editted using photoshop are .ai and .eps I am not sure what to do with them to get them to work. These are graphics for me website and to create a new logo for my business. I am working on a PC with Windows. Can someone please help me?

Hi, I am currently using Lightroom CC (the cloud version, where all my pics are stored online - not Lightroom CC Classic). Sometimes I need a pixel editor. The full photoshop, that you can use with Lightroom, is overkill for me and not worth the added subscription money. Does anyone know if it is possible to use Photoshop Elements with Lightroom CC?  

I recently upgraded to PSE 2020. I had to wait to use it while Dell made and shipped me my new XPS17 2TB, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA(R) GeForce RTX (TM) 2060 6GB, 10th gen i7-10875H. I bought the fasted laptop I could afford in hopes it would make running PSE manageable. My previous PSE9 and old laptop were very frustrating. I am not a pro but have a large catalog of photos that I had hoped PSE2020 could handle. All I'm trying to do is get all my photos in one place and do some minor editing. I can't perform any functions without PSE constantly crashing. Any tips appreciated. I am trying to back up the catalog so I can do a complete re-install but that isn't working. I think I may have to start from scratch! I have wasted several weeks on this install and catalog build. Anyone have other photo catalog/editing programs to suggest. I have lost all faith in Adobe. I want to edit my photos in Photoshop Elements 17.0 but a weird problem showed up: some photos won't open in full versions. They are missing segments from the top and the bottom. When I check the small pictures of the photos in the folder or if I open the photos in Microsoft's Photos application, the photos are okay. But as soon as I move to Photoshop Elements to edit the photos, they are missing parts as in they have been cropped even though I have not done that. This doesn't occur with all the photos, just with some. Normally when I save a photo after editing it, the size is 5472x3648 if I don't use crop. With these photos the size is 5472x3078. Why does this happen? What can I do to fix this?

About 3 years ago I bought the upgrade in The Adobe photoshop app. About 4 months ago it took away my purchase and now wants me to sign up to pay yearly. I can't figure out how to contact customer service about this. Anyone have any tips and know why this happened?

I have imported into the catalogue a USB drive. It imported it from USB E: (PSO 2021)How do I make it see the files from another letter say G:  I have read about backing up and moving catalogues. But I dont really understand. Or maybe I do but I dont want to move forward without confirmation.I have done a backup NOT FULL including pictures, just the tags and other basic data. (too big to backup pictures and thats not want Im trying to do.)I have manually changed the USB Drive Letter from E to G in diskmanager.  Win 10.I go to the Organizer and set the restore from location, then I can choose to restore to:This is where I'm stopped. Do I just choose the new location G: drive and say OK. My concern is that this drive has all my good pictures.  I dont want any thing to be overwritten or photos added. Im just trying to get PSO to understand that the pictures are not on drive E: but are now on drive G: , which is acturally the exact same drive, and all the pictues a

Theresa and myself each have a Windows 10 PC containing all our photos.  The photos are in a folder structure by year, month and day.  Eg. a photo taken on 5th January 2021 is in the following folder:-C:\Users\Martin\Pictures\2021\01\2021_01_05 on my PCC:\Users\Theresa\Pictures\2021\01\2021_01_05 on Theresa's PCUp until earlier this year I would save the photos on my PC to a hard drive and retore them onto Theresa's PC with the same folder structure (but under a different user).  I had Photoshop Elements 2019, which I used to categorise, edit and view the photos, but Theresa only had Microsoft Photos, which didn't allow Theresa to see the categorisation of the photos (Keywords etc.) that I had applied in Photoshop. Earlier this year, after some discussion on this forum, we bought two copies of Elements 2021 and installed one on each computer.  After a few attempts I managed to backup the catalogue and all the photos on my PC and restore them to Theresa's PC in

How do I switch from one version to another, since the organizer displays only the current version?

I have just bought 2021 PS E&P.I probably have several questions mixed in together here... I had my 1TB USB drive in the computer with my pictues on it and decided to import it.That worked OK.But then I learn that there is the option to import with type offline.Well that seems good in that I hve sevaral USB keys, drives etc. which often connect as drive E: for example and PS seems to like to use the same drives letters, so gets confused unless its offline.  Makes sense.How can I convert my E drive that PSO thinks is not a USB drive into an off line type config. I just want to import the thumbnails, not the photos.I have done some testing and I cannot seem that any of the helps line up with the software that I have.For exmaple when I try to Camera/cards it does not find the E. Drive that I have.Do I have to delete the catalogue for E currently then go back and import again properly. Can I convert to Offline, from on line.I cant see any helps on this type of topic. Hello Everyone, Just upgraded to 2021 PS Elements and it appears while I can manipulate the object within the "print box,"  both the hand and cursor/move only moves what's inside the print box.I was able (PS elements 2019) to move the image printing area freely anywhere within the page.    Is this a bug or am I missing something?  Help would be greatly appreciated.  

When opening an Olympus RAW file .ORF I get a yellow triangle with a black exclamation sign.  What does that mean?

I've been using photoshop elements for a  year. Installed from a disc  registered it. Worked fine on my  win 7, yes I know its not supported but not updating to win 10.  worked  fine  and  I installed an update  and not  sure if thats  causing issue.  Error  box  saysThere is no  disc in the drive. Please insert disc into drive\device\harddisk4\DR10 or DR 4.  I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still get  code. I doubt this is  due to me running win 7 as the program worked before

Hi guys really need your help, for some reason over the past 24 hours, when i import a video in photoshop elements 2018 the video simple does not play, i have tried mulitpule videos that all play on other programs, and this has all happened in the last 24 hours. 

I am using Sandisk Extreme Compact Flash Cards. For the past week, when I try to upload photos into the Elements Organizer, the upload freezes. Sometimes it freezes at about photo number 160, sometimes earlier. This has happened with multiple flash cards. I have called Dell tech support twice requesting help for this problem. After I talked to them last week, I was able to upload my photos. But tonight, I tried uploading photos and it slowed down drastically. It slowed down at about 160 photos again, and then slowly uploaded photos up to number 301, at which time it froze for good. I called Dell tech support again, and they found that a Windows update had stalled. The tech allowed the update to install, and then restarted my computer. When I tried to upload my photos again, it still froze. The Dell tech thinks I need to reinstall my entire operating system! So my questions are:Could it be a problem with Elements itself, and if so, should I reinstall it?Could it be a problem with the ca

I have been running PSE 2019 and just installed the 2021 version.  After PSE converted my catalog my file structure became totally flat (i.e., all my folders are directly under "Pictures" rather than embedded as I had them.  This is a real pain because I keep images in separate directories associated with shot date and have "Raw files" folders underneath each date.  Now I have a zillion "Raw file" folders and it will be impossible to sort it back out. How did this happen and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.

I just upgraded PS Elements from the 2018 version to the 2021 version.  When I imported my catalog the program copied all of my photos from my D drive (where I keep them) to C: Program Data and redid all of the tags to the new location.  Any way to fix this so the catalog shows the original location and copise aren't moved the the C drive?

In Photoshop Elements 2021 19.0, I get a "Could not complete your request because of a progam error" message when I try to open JPG files.  I can open BMP and PNG files with no issue.  Also, when I try to attach any of these JPGs to this post I get this msg:The attachment's 0606200949.jpg content type (image/jpeg) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

Hi there,Today my laptop returned from the repair man. He had to rebuild my computer because of a virus and a Trojan horse.I'm installing all the software I work with, including PSE 9 that I LOVE and have been using for ages. I have the original disk and manual, but the product key is nowhere to be found. For now I'm installing the trial version, but that only lasts for a week or so.How can I retrieve the key that I once paid for?(I know it's an old version, but it works fine for me. And especially with the HUGE amount of repair costs, I'm not willing to invest in the newest version with features I'll never use.)Tnx in advance!Hieke

HI - I've been using Elements 2019 quite happily for a couple of years. Just upgraded to 2021 and have a problem with the preview window. It's lile the image is separated and offset so the video is pink with a green overal offset. I've tried multiple clips which al play fine in other applications but just look bizare in this - see creenhot. I have unistalled and re-installed - still no luck

Hello - very basic question - probably has a very simple answer that I've missed!  . . . . I've used Photoshop for years but my last upgrade to 15.0.0.0 has a very small font size on the working screens - which is driving me crackers and I can't find a way to enlarge to match previous versions. Any bright ideas please?!

Hi - I'm trialing PSE Elements / Organizer 2021 and noticed when I edit some images and try to add only the edited images to a new album, both the edited version plus the original unedited version end up in th album. How do I avoid this? I only want the edited photos but when I drag those to the album, the unedited versions automatically come with them.  Thanks, Tim
