I have Premier elements 13 and I am considering upgrading to 15.  In Premier elements 12 there was a feature Auto Scene Detection.  I didn't find it in 13 and I am wondering if it is in 15.  So far I have not found it.

I just purchased Premiere Elements 2018, and from what I can gather, it does not have automatic scene detection when importing video.  A Google search revealed a program from Wondershare called Filmora, which has auto scene detection.  My question is, even if I use third party software like Filmora, how do I get the series of clips into Premiere Elements?  Do I have to save each individual clip as a separate file in Filmora, then import all the separate clips into Premiere Elements?

I've had many versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements from version 8 through version 14.  I recently wanted to upgrade to 2019 but was unable to convert my version 14 catalog due to a schema conversion error ("schema conversion failed, aborting" as reported in the conversion log).Assuming that the problem is in the catalog file itself, and being somewhat technically inclined, I started digging into the catalog internals using the freely available "DB Browser for SQLite" tool.  I noticed many broken foreign keys in the database, which has lead me to suspect that the problem may be related to video scenes that the auto-analyzer has identified in my video files.It used to be (at least in version 8 and I'm sure many subsequent versions) that the organizer had a background thread that would analyze all imported media files and apply smart tags to help suggest quick fixes for photos, as well as to automatically identify video scenes in a single video file and then spli

Dear community, I am looking for the perfect render settings for YouTube with Premiere Elements.The raw videos I cutted are in 1920x1080 with 30fps (more information in screenshot). The raw videos are greenscreen videos, where i use videomerge. I want to render it perfect optimized for a 1080p YouTube Video. At the moment the videos look blurred after redering and manually upload to YouTube. What exact settings are perfect for first export the video and then manually upload to YouTube for a sharp result? Thank you very much for your help. 🙂 (Answer in german okey too)

HelloI now I use PE 2020 -  version 18.0I imported my video file in premier elementsbut when i play the video i have not audio , no song with the video. When I listen the video with VLC or any version player audio, the song is okThe file is .movThanks - Before i used version 14 is was fine 

I am using elements 15 with Windows 10.I am trying to reorganize my photos.If I delete all the photos currently showing in elements organizer, will I loose the photos?I have most of them on a separate portable drive.

How do I re-establish the path between the folder where my resource video clips reside and my premiere project after I move the resource folder? Example... I have a folder on my desktop. I add files/assets to my premiere project from this folder. After I have created the project (not published) I move the resource folder and group all of the related folders/files into a single location. When this is done the path between my project to the resource files no longer exists and the video pane in my project is now red. Any help is appreciated.  

Hey adobe community, i am actually using Premiere Elements 20 (V.18.0). If I try to expert the cutted video with "online", choose YouTube, quality high, all is okey. But after clicking "Freigabe starten" (german (english "export") absoloutly nothing happens. Just a gray emthy window showes up. On another comouter there is the same problem. Anybody knowes the issue and maybe has a solution for it? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I just upgraded to premiere element for 2020. i'm having a difficult time retrieving my old projects on Premieree element 12. it keeps showing my offline video. How do I retrieve my complete project? Regards, Davis

I just bought a new PC with Windows 10. I installed my Premeire Elements 9 and I'm getting a ghosting effect on the timeline. Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated. I'll attempt to load screen shots to hopefully display my issue. 

I own Adobe Premiere Elements 7. I added an mp3 audio file to my video. But reading the volume is adapted : what is strong is attenuated and what is weak is increased. I would like my file to be read as I recorded it in my Magix Music. Solutions ? Thank you !

I want to split a movie without re-compressing/re-encoding.For example:I have a 100-megabyte, 10-minute movie file. I want to obtain a 10-megabyte, 1-minute movie file from it. Please tell me whether we can and how to.

This is about my 5th week now and I am exhausted. I've contacted many different agents and each time they fix it it always seems to go back to being the same problem. There is a MAJOR lag in the playback which I have never had before. I use Premiere Elements 2018 and until recently I have never had any issues with it when I apply effects to it.  The playback becomes unbarrable and it makes it impossible to edit not to mention takes 5x longer. With the help of my cousin we figured out that the CPUS are all being maxed out when the program is running. Can anyone tell me why? I'm hoping if I can fix tat I will be able to fix the problem.  

I am trying my first project.  I have a number of video clips that I don't want on the same video line.  I want them on different tracks (which they are) and have them all line up at the desired spot and time to the seperate Audio track.  When I hit play there is only a black screen.  I can see the time line moving and hear the audio track but dont' see any of the video tracks.  They are not hidden, they just don't show up so I can't play them to line up against the audio track.  How do I fix this?  This is maddening!

I have been a user of Premiere Elements 15 for 3 years...never a real problem with it. I bought a new PC, therefore I figured I might as well uptick to the 2020 version.Welllll, the reviews I have been seeing for it are EYE POPPING BAD, especially on Amazon.Freezing up, not loading properly, errors, not storing clips, the list goes on and on."Don't waste your money" was a very comoon phrase from multinple users. What is going on here?? I am being discouraged and scared away from this. Are you really trying tomake me load up Davinci Resolve?

Hi I've added an image to hide some content in the video in track 1. So the image is sitting in track 2 and I've resized it to cover the area I need. It sits in the right position during editing in the display window, but when I save the file to share it, the image moves position and so is no longer hiding the content I need to hide! Any suggestions on how to get it to stay in place or anchor it in position? I basically have a recording of lots of people in a zoom call and need to hide one person so they can't be seen in the final video.  Hope that makes sense. thanks

Hi  I don't understand why deleting audio from the clip on track 2 removes the gap below on the track 1. This is not what I want. I know how to workaround this but many times I'm not aware that gap on the track below is removed when I work with a few tracks.  I just want to remove audio as name of the fucntion says. I have Premier Elements 2020 which will load and run when Device Manager  has Intel HD Graphics 530  using and Apr 20 version 26.20.100.8141 installed. Premier Elements will not run with newer driver versions, it appears to hang.My laptop also has NVidia GeForce GTX 960M with the most current drivers installed.Yes, I can use the earlier Intel drivers but that may prevent to newest Windows 10 update from installing.Are there any workarounds for getting Premier Elements to run with the newer Inte; 530 drivers?

I have the latest version of premiere elements which is Premiere Elements 2020 and its not letting me paste the effects and ajustments of a caption/title that I made on another title in the video. What I noticed is that when I pasted the ajustments is only changed the font size of that caption and not the style, color, or anything else that I have set. Now I'm going to have to manually go through and change the color and style rather than just pasting on all the captions.  Edit: For some reason the screen recording file didn't record what I was clicking on. I hit copy on the captions with the effects, color, and style. Then I hit paste effects and ajustments on the other caption that did not have any style or color. It didn't do anything.

I have some long saved videos I want to cut into shorter clips but when I export them, even using "match source" under Advanced Settings, the Data Rate and the Frame Rate of the shorter video are totally different and the file size becomes massive. The input data and frame rates are 2000 kpbs and the output data and frame rates are 30000 kpbs. The 50% shorter version of a 1GB video becomes 5GB when exported using match source setting!What am I doing wrong? How can I make the edited clips reflect the original sequences in file size and frame rate?

i have a video from my go pro hero 7 in mp4 format 60 fps 4k. When i upload video and play, the sound is ok, but in video are green stripes. If i open file in another player all is ok. I have two graphic cards Intel UHD 620 and NVIDIA MX130. Software is up to date. I have windows 10. Can you help me pls?

I read some of the threads on this, but could not figure out how to fix my problem. I have about 6 video segments that were on my timeline, at different places. Suddenly, I am getting what is saying something like "video offline" (im mult languages) on the central area where my videos are usually displayed. I figured they must have been lost, so I tried to just load them again. I first just deleted one video segment. Then, at the same location, I reloaded that same video segment which was still in my what I think is called a resorce folder. However, when I did this, I still was not able to see any video. Perhaps that is a clue to someone out there as to what is going on.Thanks for your assistance.LNovik

HII have looked at other posts and it is all crazy tech language. Here is what should be a simple question! (and it used to work, but now it seems quirky).I upload videos to render/process (not ususally long ones, but might be 5-8 minute videos to total neverm more than 20 min). It goes through it and when it is done it won't complete the process. I use premier elements 2018. I am not doing ANYTHING fancy-just want to stitch pieces together to save on my computer to be able to share and upload to youtube (real estate business). I haven't liked 2018 version-my prior version was simple and fine, but the problem has gotten worse recently and I can't even get a video completed.Is there any help-I am sure I am not describing problem well, but I am not techy. shouldn't it be upload, process and done?Thanks
