I am trying to open videos from a DVD that I taped from TV. I am in the programs in the shows so I hope that does fall under the copy protected rule. The folders in the DVD are VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS The files in VIDEO_RM are VIDEO_RM.BUP, VIDEO_RM.DAT AND VIDEO_RM.IFOThe files in VIDEO-TS are VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB,VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_1.VOB, and VTS_01-2.VOB.I have no idea what any of this means. The error message I get says:An error occurred while importing files from this DVD. Such errors are usually caused when the DVD is copy protected. Premiere Elements does not support importing files from copy protected DVDs. Hello,I use Elements 13 for multi camera editing - I know CC is ideal but I cant switch now.My question is to enable/disable an audio or video track my current option on 13 is to right mouse click hit "enable".I saw a youtube video earlier re: Elements 18 where I thought the user toggles to the far left to do the same enable/disablefunction. Elements 13 uses those toggles for track style so I was wondering if version 18 has added thisimprovement - another way to enable/disable. If someone can confirm this feature I will probably upgrade. Thanks very much
How to I install a software i downloaded on a different computer when it’s saying that these serial number are already in use!
I recently recorded 1 1/2 hours of video at my daughter's dance school with the intention of producing a DVD for the other parents. When I downloaded the video from the camera it was split into 2 clips each 45 mins (this is how the camera software works and has never caused a problem).I created a project using the first clip and after editing I was left with a perfectly pleasing result, however when I then created another project using the second clip I found that when watching the children singing, the voice and video was slightly out of sync. I tried watching the clip on the laptop using 'Films and TV' and it was fine, I also tried creating a project using the same clips in my old Windows 7 laptop using Premiere Elements 11 and the issue was not present so I conclude that something in Premiere Elements 2018 is introducing the issue. I'd be very grateful for any suggestions as to how this could be resolved. (Please note that I have rendered the work area).I am using:Panasonic HC-V100 c
Adobe Premiere Elements 7. I have used it for several years. Now - when I uploaded it to a new computer and try to save in MPEG2 files, it says I must activate a code from a url link. Trying to go to this web page, there is no page at all, but onlye a server that is shut down. Does anyone know how one can make this work again? Contacting Adobe chat only gave 20 minutes and no answers at all.
Hi all,I just bought elements premiere 2018 (version 16.0) two weeks ago.It is installed of both my iMac and my Macbook pro) and both give me the same problem. All software /OS is up-to-date !Movie editing is OK most of the time !! although once in a while it just hangs for some reason. (So I save a lot while processing). Now I started with adding (motion) titles into my movie and this really drives me crazy. It is absolutely not workable anymore. Hangs every few minutes and all I can do is kill the process and start over again. Any clues???ThanksCharles The Netherlands
All: looking for confirmation from Adobe if subject is true...and for how long? thanks.
I've just bought a Pavillion HP Laptop , with 16Gb Ram , Intel i7 8550U processor .I own Premiere 12 and 14 so downloaded versions of both from webpage and used my product key as I have no CD drive . (I've even downloaded a trial version of 2018 too ) .I've used both 12 and 14 on an older , slower PC with no issues now , I cannot export in any format without "unknown error" occurring .I'm guessing it is settings on y new laptop causing the problem ?
HiI've got a problem with video/audio sync, when importing them into Adobe Premier Elements 12.I'm no beginner but I have not that much experience with videoformates, containers or codecs, nor I have an exact understanding of variable framerates ect.Up to this moment, I've never had a problem when importing videos and cutting them. However when I am importing a new videoclip, the audio and video are not in sync. But its not just a delay or offset. The audio matches the video at the beginning but at the end of a 12min file, the audio is 2 seconds delayed although video and audio track end at the same time. Mannually changing playback speed of only the video track by guessing a fitting ratio helps, but is certainly not satisfying. In addition, displayed frame rate and video duration does not match the file details given by explorer. Adjusting frame rate manually by assuming footage settings does not solve the audio-video mismatch. I've also tried to load different project presets with no
I'm very new to this software and I'm banging my head against the wall.I'm trying to basically make a "highlight reel" from a longer video. I've gone through the video and cut the exact clips I want to use in the main project, but how do I get those clips into a new project? (I think what I'm trying to do is be able to have them as project assets, but I'm not sure.) Or is this a redundant step in the process? Should I just delete all but what I want and then arrange them in whatever order I want by dragging and dropping? Finally, should I be doing something else - besides cutting unique clips - like using a marker to create a scene? If so, I can go back and create scenes out the clips but I have no idea how to do that or if it makes sense to.I'm aware of a way to export clips using the area bar but the keyboard shortcuts don't work on a Mac so this process is entirely too cumbersome. There's simply got to be a better way considering the number of people using Mac's with this software.Th
Hello,I'm using the trial version of Premiere Elements and am having an issue with the export quality being extremely low. Even the title card is not as clear as it should be. I'm trying to export as a 4K video file on high quality (also tried it on mid quality). The files I am using are both .avi and one of them comes out okay, but the other is just really low quality on export. Here are the file information:File 1 (this one exports fine)AVI file format2560x14403538944 kbps 30 fpsFile 2 (this one is the one that exports all blurry)AVI file format3840x21601411 kbps60 fpsMy Desktop:Windows 10 Professional 64-bitAMD FX 835016GB of RAMSAPPHIRE VAPOR-X Radeon R9 290Footage and export are being stored on a 4TB external HDD on USB3Both of these came from Mirillis' Action! screen recorder. File 1 is web cam footage and File 2 is a screen recording of my desktop. I have disabled the hardware accelerator to see if that was causing the issue and it was not. I'
Is there an easy way to annotate pictures within Photoshop Premier Elements 13? By annotate I mean draw circles or boxes around something and add arrows and text to the photo. I’d prefer not to do the drawing by free hand and want the annotations on the photo.Lately, I’ve been using Elements to document car restoration projects and from time to time it is helpful to highlight parts of a photo and/or make notes on the photos. To date I’ve been making my annotations by exporting the photos to another application, making the annotations and then importing them back into Elements.I sure wish there was an easier way or an add-on that would simplify this process.
Hello,I am fairly new to using Adobe Premiere 2018 and I have a recurring problem that started a few weeks ago. I have searched online and cannot find an answer. Thanks in advance for your help.I frequently use footage that I've recorded with my GoPro Hero 5 or my iPhone 7 and have the same problem with both. About 25% of the time while I am editing, my footage will appear dark. It looks like I have clicked on something to "select" the video screen and do not know how to undo it. Deleting the footage and reloading does not help, I literally have to close out of the program and start all over again.Could someone please tell me what I am doing to cause this? I am attaching a picture to show you what I'm talking about. You can see how bright and colorful my image originally appears (in the "Project Assets" screen) when I upload it but look how dark it appears when I'm trying to edit it.Thanks again,Julie
1. We've used PE for years.2. PE 18 was loaded on three different new laptops and got the same result each time. You click on .prel file created in PE 15, bar says it's loaded 100%, but no videos appear in Assets or the edited timeline. 3. Newest LG laptop: Windows 10, 16 Gig Ram, .5 Tera solid state hard drive, Intel UHD Graphics 620. Same problem on last gen of LG laptops.4. PE 15 won't load on laptop above as well. Think there's an incompatibility with graphics chip?Any suggestions?
Dear Adobe Gurus,I recently installed Adobe Premier Elements on my new computer (Windows 10), having used it on my previous one. While the license allows me to have the software downloaded on two computers simultaneously, for some reason I am unable to open my projects on my new computer, receiving the notice that the file is not supported or the required codec is not installed. I need to get this up and running asap for work so any advice is greatly appreciated! Many thanksGemma

If I open PrE and click the "Titles & Text" tab the page opens with all the "Titles & Text" options listed. But when I open a project and click the "Titles & Text" tab the page opens but contains nothing. This very weird and I'm guessing this is some kind of seriously technical issue that only Adobe might know about but, to date, I haven't figured out how to reach Adobe for this or other PrE issues that are too technical to get addressed in the user forum.
I get this error message, This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed, when trying to import a .mov file created from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone in Adobe PE10. The .mov files plays fine in windows media player on Windows 7.
I am using Premiere Elements 2018.Normaly the Work Area Bar (WAB) automatically expands and contracts as clips are added and removed from the timeline. But it seems that manually adjusting the WAB turns its auto-sizing capability off.Is there a way to turn the WAB auto-sizing back after it has turned off.
@17226154 Elements 18 has stopped working after updating the win10. Play Head does not move, does not play video material. !
As the title says, is it possible to create trimmed/cut video without exporting/re-encoding?
Hello,I am responsible for capturing video of my son's football team games for later review/analysis. So far, PE has worked well, but as we all do I want to make it better.I would like to find out if I can have PE embed the original filename of each clip/ football play into the video. In other words, display the original Canon filename while the clip is playing within the total video. Yes, I can manually do it but hoped there was a way to have it automated. This would allow for an easier summary of game highlights, etc., if we could go back to the original MOV file and create a new video. Capture device is a Canon 70D cameraEach play is a separate MOV filePE easily allows addition and timeline edits/fadesThanks in advance!
I am trying out Premier Elements 2018. I have already started the 30 day trial, however the application gets stuck during the splash screen. The last status is Loading PlayerMediaCore.prm. According to Process Explorer, the entire process tree is idle with <.25 CPU usage.I have seen multiple posts regarding this that don't have solutions, so honestly, I am not expecting a solution here either. I just wanted to let Adobe know that it is still happening to people and why at least one person will not be purchasing it.I also have Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC installed. I have installed and uninstalled PE2018 multiple times. Here are the last few lines from %appdata%\Adobe\Premier Elements\16.0\Plugin Loading.logLoading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 2018\Plug-ins\Common\VSTPlugins\NewBlueFX\scrubbers\NewBlue Noise Fader AB.dllThe registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache.Loading from the registry...The plugin was success
