I can't select English as the language for spell checking.I have the latest version of premiere pro in Italian.I work with English texts and I would like to activate spell checking, but it doesn't work for english. I am given the option to use only Italian for spell checking. The English package is already installed and works in the "transcription" panel, but I can't select English as the language for spell checking.
How do you import only video parts of SEVERAL files to a timeline without audio in Premiere Pro?
I came here from Capcut, honestly its been very frustrating me the very simple things I want to do with premier pro has been a pain. I've been using Capcut for quite a while now and they always make it simeple and easy. I came to premier pro to see if I can gain more features to edit my videos and so far its not going very well. I want to copy the text attributes and paste it to my entire video captions and also save it as a preset. here an image of what im working with
Im having an issue with a certain file that is supposed to ahve a transparent background but is currently showing a black background. It was made in AE and has the rgb + aplha setting checked. I did an edit on another video just before this one and the file worked just fine. How can i fix this?
Folks... 35 year IT pro here, silicon valley engineer, not stupid on these things. Just back from 2 weeks on safari, my GoPro 12 and Insta360 X4 video works great in Premier Pro 2025. DSLR video import & editing in Premier ==> works great! But I go to import the friggin .mov files from my iPhone 15 Pro and they won't even show up in the media browser. Did not shoot in ProRes as I just wanted to do simple editing (clipping/sequencing/transitions/export) - was not expecting to have to color grade. I've spent last hour searching online various forums, etc. Tried installing QT 7.7.9, bought a 3rd party MOV player for $10, copying files to my C drive (they were already local, just moved from D to C), etc. No joy. How is it possible that in 2025 when Adobe has us collectively paying like $25/month or more for Premier Pro access that it is not possible to ingest video natively on a basically brand new iPhone camera? Are we n
Working On Premiere latest version, my work requires quick cuts, adding transcription and music for social media, short videos, hd.Lately I've been experiencing slowness in the reaction time of the cuts, Spacebar for pause, and the cursor between the cuts - all with annoying delay.Even when I'm in snap mode, the cursor doesn't stop exactly at the cut point when I drag it there, but jumps a few frames forward or back.my global fx is on muteplayback resolution on 1/4and cache files deleted The keyboard works and responds normally and quickly in all other programs.Im working on an intel(R) Core(TM)i7-8700 cpu @ 3.20 Hz 3.19 GHz16 GB RAM, 64-bit + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Any advice?
After updating to Premiere Pro 2024 (24.6.3) form 2023 (23.6.8), Premiere will no longer consistently recognize and import Canon XF705 content. OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.5131CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X RAM: 128 GBGPU: NVIDIA 3080TIThe content in question is HEVC encoded video, PCM audio, and timecode data all in an MXF wrapper from a Canon XF705 camera. The files have been localized to an internal SSD, the camera file system has been left undisturbed, and we are accessing the media for import via the Premiere Pro media browser with the appropriate Canon XF profile selected. In Premiere 2023 (23.6.8), when working to select and import content, each collection of camera files that are associated with a single contiguous recording are displayed as a single clip. And each clip displays a thumbnail reflective of the content of the clip. In Premiere 2024 (24.6.3) and 25 (25.0) versions, clips are occasionally not detected by the media browser, or are present but report no durati
When I add a video with audio to the timeline they become unlinked, I've done everything to make them both linked. How do I solve this? PR 2025
Hey guys, I'm fairly new to Premiere Pro but my animated title graphic is covered by black noise once I export. I have rendered it and everything looks fine within Premiere Pro. But when I play back the exported file it's awful. Can anyone help? Photo Below:
Please can we fix Frame IO login through Premiere? It does not work. Useless, unless we can login, Pervasive issue still not rectified in v25. You bought it, so please fix it.
I'm experiencing an issue where .MOV files from my Fujifilm X-T4 are importing as audio-only in Premiere Pro (version 24.6.1). Video files I recorded and imported last week were ingested without an issue, now when I open the project created last week - I created an edit last week and now I cannot watch the video back and my project is full of errors.Steps I've Taken:Media Encoder: I ran the footage through Adobe Media Encoder, outputting the files in QuickTime format, but the problem persists.Clearing Cache: I've cleared the media cache multiple times, but it hasn’t resolved the issue.Premiere Version Rollback: I installed an earlier version of Premiere Pro to see if the issue was caused by an update, but that didn’t help.File Integrity: I can view the .MOV files on my Fujifilm X-T4 without any problems, and none of the files are corrupted. Please help me fix this issue, I am busy working across multiple projects and cannot lose a day to an asinine issue like this! Edition Windows
HelloDoes anyone know of a way of easily and quickly updating bin folders with new clips that have been added to your laptop or HD folding system? For example if i am shooting a 10 day scuba diving movie, on day one I add my new fin with the carefully thought out and organised folding structure with many different category folders such as 1) sharks 2) Rays 3) Divers 4).... and so on. Each evening I will then work on the edit a little. Then each day I import all the latest footage and sort it into the relevant folders. Is there any clever way of Premiere Pro talking to that folder and importing all the new footage in the correct folders? Or must i go into each folder manually and import or drag and drop?Im using PP 2018. Ive read online that FCP have already solved this problem so I'd be surprised if adobe haven't addressed it yet??ThanksDan
I've been using a Brinno time lapse camera for a while and was always able to just drop the avi files into Premiere Pro and they would open without a hitch that was until I updated to 12.1.0 last week and now when I drop an avi file into Premiere Pro I get a "file format not supported" this even happens with files that previously worked fine. What has changed in this update?
the first one is without text and the second is with it, it makes the background a little bit white. Any way to fix this? It doesn't show the background like this in studio, but when exported this happens.
Hi, after 10 minutes of transcribing, I get the "No Dialogue Found" in the newest Premiere Pro version. What am I doing wrong? Screenshots are below. I am retrying for the 5th time. The vid is mp4, 1h20min long. I am a complete beginner. Thanks!
i showed the error in the video: https://youtu.be/-kJ9R0e7ZgkOkay this is my 3rd community post in last 1 week and i swear to god i never got annoyed to use premiere before 😕😕 Like smallest issues occured one by one and it's not joyful to use premiere pro anymore for me, all i have is.. issues, issues and more issues recently and that makes me sad.So my usual process like this before this error>> my client sends me a .prpro file after he managed to files that he shoot in a .prpro file and i open that file and i relocate(prpro was doing this automatically) all the files and i start working on the projects right away!! but now when i open that file, premiere pro wants me to relocate all the files manually, all of them!! I'm not talking just one or two files usualy tens of them and lets be honest this is not what u want to do when u want to work on a project, i need help or suggesstions please.Thank you all.
Cierro y abro aplicacion y sigue igual, he desinstálado el programa y volverlo a instalar y sigue pasando. Muchas gracias!
Hello! My video clips aren't showing up in the timeline section of premiere pro. The sequence is just a black box and I'm unable to edit it in any way, but it still shows up in the preview box. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
New behaviour since upgrading to Version 25.0.0 (Build 61). The 'Link' keyboard shortcut is bugged. I've got several keyboard shortcuts assigned:'D' triggers "Select Clip at Playhead"'Control + L' triggers "Link" For years I've been able to use these two commands, D then Control +L, to select then link clips on the timeline. Since upgrading, this no longer works. If I use the mouse to marquee select, or individually click on each clip whilst holding shift, then hit Control + L, the clips do link/unlink.But the clips won't link if they've been selected by keyboard [edit: they will unlink, see below]. For what it's worth:Linked Selection is enabled (screenshot at bottom of post). All tracks are targetted.Pressing D still performs the desired function and selects all the clips at the playhead. But nothing happens if I press Command + L afterwards. ----------------------------------------------------------------- As a test, whilst writing this, I tried unassign
The timeline hangs all of a sudden, although the software is responding, the timeline is not previewing any playbacks. Have to close the application and re run it. It delays everthing. Please have a look.
Issue - When I load up Adobe Premiere, I get a notification that I'm unable to load third-party audio plug-ins. Then, I'm opened up to the main page of Adobe Premiere. When I try to open ANY file or start a new project, the program immediately stops responding and I have to force quit it. I have gone through my files and clicked permissions on in Application Support files, uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and tried to reset the preferences cache. Recently I upgraded from 1050Ti to 4060Ti, 2 months back. Before at the time I was running Premiere Pro 2024. Now recently when i reopened Premiere Pro after upgrading to 2025 I have started getting this error GPU Sniffer encountered problem.
I'm trying to open existing projects after a new HD install. ALL of my clip/content is on the same external drive they've always been on. When I open a project, I get the "missing media" message window. So... I go and locate a clip manually, and EVEVERYTHING ELSE that was missing, is found and has a checkmark next to it. Then I hit cancel to close the "find media" window and then my project loads AND ALL THE CLIPS ARE MISSING AND EVERYTHING IS OFFLINE/CAN'T BE FOUND. WHY? I just found them all in the locate media pop up window, and they were found, and had checkmarks. So then... I go into the timeline and click on a few missing clips. I RELINK them to media manually, BUT IT ONLY POPULATES THAT SPECIFIC CLIP I JUST MANUALLY LOCATED. Why is there NO automatic linking of all the other clips... when I have that option selected??? Do I really have to go in, by hand, and link clip after clip, each one, indivi
Hi,I have a Premiere Pro project, that I've been working on for the last couple of days, which now can no longer be opened. When opening the file premiere is stuck in the "opening project" loading screen at approximately 70%. I've been patient and on my task manager I can see that Premiere Pro is operating at 0% when stuck, so it stops working somehow. I've tried several solutions/workarounds, including deleting chache, deleting preferences, reinstalling premiere, updating graphic drivers, disabling plugins, creating a new project and importing sequences from old project (stuck at "loading project", no sequences show up), opening old auto-save files (same issue), trying opening in different premiere pro versions (23.0-23.6).Other projects open fine. I've recently moved the project over from a NAS to an external hard drive (Seagate Expansion HDD SCSI Disk Device) and since then I've had the problem.I am somehow able to open the project on a Mac no problem - but all 3 Windows P
