Proxies won't connect to the original files.  Want's me to connect proxies one by one...when toggled on creates flashing of images in sequence.  Created proxies through media encoder and used the suggested recomendations, but no watermark appeared even though it was checked and proxies never connected.  I have to restart the program if I toggle Proxies on...we all know what a time suck that is if you're trying to jam out a project.

First off thanks for the amazing visual UI refresh coming to Premiere, however the new label colors are all some variation on the same shadow of brown. It's honestly far more difficult to to tell label colors apart now. Of course you can make your own label colors, and that would be a great solution here except for the fact that we cannot control the contrast of the text and waveforms against our labels. So if I go with the classic labels, many of my text and waveform elements vanish into the new UI. In a perfect world there would be a middle ground option that allows us to control per label the contrasting color of UI elements, or the code that defines when text should be bright or dark would be reviewed so that it qualifies colors differently and more successfully achieves proper contrast. You cant use the tools in text based editing

Hello,I'm currently finalizing a short film, and it's in the color grading stage using Da Vinci Resolve. I'm facing a very strange issue, and neither my color grader (who's a professional trainer) nor I can figure out the solution to our problem. So, I'm reaching out here, hoping that someone might shed some light on it.Description of the problem:We're grading on a professional grading monitor on a Mac. When we export, the .mov file looks perfect on Mac. However, once it's opened on a PC (specifically in Premiere Pro), the contrast level drops drastically, blacks aren't black anymore, and the film looks completely different.We've tried everything, exporting in PRORES, in DNX... The problem persists. The only way to somewhat mitigate it is by checking the "color management" option in Premiere, which brings the contrast closer to normal (but it's just a display version, not exportable from Premiere with this display setting)...I'm at my wit's end. This film is supposed to go to festivals

Help! Yesterday my file was working and today there's no audio. The audio clips are fine in the file. So, I am not sure what is happening.

I've now had multiple instances of sending a sequence to ME from PP and the wrong preset is applied. Usually it's the preset that is just next to the one I selected in the drop down list.System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.4.0.28    OS: macOS v14.1.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 10

The video project is chugging 66 GB of memory and I have no idea why. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesn't. Seems to stall later in the afternoon. It doesn't do this in the earlier hours of the day. 

full library isn't showing up in premiere beta but shows up in illustrator. any ideas? I am working in Windows and files are synced...and disconnected already and reloaded...

After clicking the "Edit Active Text" button in the text window, making gramatical changes, and then clicking out of the text field, nothing about the text I edited has changed.  I also am not able to delete text and have it affect the timeline as I had been able to do earlier. The "Automatically set in/out points" button is selected, and doesn't seem to make a difference.My source was highlighted in the timeline window, so it should have edited.Any help appreciated. 

I like the Pan & Zoom feature, though I'd like to see a switch to disable it. Since scroll wheel pans the timeline, if I start scrolling, intending to move the timeline while the curser is over the monitor, the monitor zooms, and I have to restore it to where it is, then move to the timeline panel. A little lock icon next to the zoom dropdown would be an ideal way to toggle this. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.4.0.32    OS: Windows v10.0.22631, RAM: 63.83 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

All of a sudden, it seems I can't do text based editing in beta version.  It works in regular version but seems to have stopped today.  When I highlight the text, then hit "extract" - nothing.  Not sure if I accidently re-set some setting

In Version 24.1.0 there is In Developement:Always Nest Multicam Clips"Always insert/overwrite multicam clips as nests irrespective of the timeline setting to insert/overwrite as individual clips."Please keep in mind that for workflows where you need to transfer the timeline eg. to ProTools it is indispensable to use the audio of a multiclip as individual clips!So I can't see any advantage for this feature as long as I can use the timeline-setting instead. When there is no option to keep individual audio clips of a multicam in the timeline there will be a lot of work arounds to use eg. multitrack-recordings and handle audiotracks / clips independly.

In Premiere Pro Beta 24.1.0 Build 42 I realized changing the source Timecode Start of an clip does not work anymore. I import a video and go to: Modify -> Timecode , I change the Timecode from 00:00:00:00 to 10:00:00:00, I select "Alternate Timecode", I press ok. The clip Media Start dies not get changed, its still 00:00:00:00, it did always change in Premiere 22 and is a very important function when working with archive footage. This seams to be brocken now in Premiere 23 as well. It was working good in Premiere 22. 

Hello Community, I'm in Premier Pro beta. When I import audio a transcript is autogenerated, Love it! But, even though I can change the text, I'm unable to change the speaker names. I don't see the ellipses next to where it says Speaker 1 and Speaker 2. There's a button, or Shift + Z option for the source and when I go there it says "No Dialog Found - to enable transcript services, your audio must contain unmuted verbal dialog". Nothing is muted and it ovbiously heard something because I can see the transcribed conversation and speskers.What am I doing wrong?

On creating a new bin i cannot give a name. namefield is empty. i first have to quit an restart pr to be able to rename the bin.

In the new UI present in Beta 24.4.0 (Build 20), when an audio track is collapsed to a certain height the FX badge, crossfade slider and name of track do not show. Here are tracks that are identical heights in 24.1 vs. the Beta 24.4  You can see how when the tracks are small I am able to see the track names, additionally by the changed color of the FX badge I also know the volume of the track has been modified. I can do this by eye without having to expand tracks in order to get that info. For those of us working on large projects with lots of tracks, we cannot afford to have giant audio tracks just to see track names, that info needs to always be visible if we want it to be. You can easily map Show Audio Track names to a shortcut key if you want to disable seeing them.

I'm using Premiere Pro Beta 24.4.0 on a Windows Desktop / Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64 based systems.  For the past couple of weeks, each time I open Premiere Pro, I get a NEW notice that says: :A newer ve rsion is available." I click on the message and go to the update page where both Premiere Pro and Photoshop show available updates. I update them at that time. However, the next day, I get the same notice. This strikes me as ridiculous. What is necessary to stop getting what I assume is buggy request?

What am I doing wrong? I cant see the Adobe Podcast AI version of "Enhanced Speech" in essential sounds. Ive tried on an M2 Ultra Mac Studio and a M1 Max Macbook Pro - and no dice. All I see is an older version of Enhance Speech (with no slider), that doesnt have any of the AI features of the new version.... Please help!!  

I often add a reverb effect to the very end of a music track that I've trimmed; that way, I can use the reverb to make any abrupt ending sound deliberate and natural. But I have to keyframe the dry out/wet out from "no effect" to "lots of effect" at the end of the piece because I don't want the reverb to affect the whole duration of the track. It's mildly tedious having to switch between viewing the "Dry Out" and "Wet Out" keyframes (I usually add the effect to a Mix track so I can still view my clip keyframes on my other tracks). It'd be lovely if, instead of having to choose which ONE thing's keyframes we can see, we could choose MULTIPLE things. It'd be even nicer if PPRo auto-assigned (maybe user-overridable?) different colours to each keyframe "channel".  I'm sure this would apply to many other situations too. Good idea, don't you think?
