I've figured out how to import an .obj file from Illustrator into 3D Stager,however, once the very simple obect is inside 3D Stager, I cannot edit any part of the oject.All I wanted to do is extrude the object a little bit less, but there are NO options to do so.Any help is appreciated, thank you !( Am I exporting the 3D object from Illustrator incorrectly ? ) ( by the way, I extruded the shape in Illustratorusing the new 3D panel and then chose to export it as an .obj )

I would like to use my real estate interior photos and restage the furniture/lighting to show my clients.  Any thoughts, suggestions on how to do this with 3D Stager?  

Hello  I'm having an issue that is frustrating me quite a bit - I am using stager to render out some product images and most of the labels are on vials of glass material.  However when i apply a decal it is visible on the inside aswell (mirrored as if the label was see through).  Anyone have a solution for the decal to just be visible on the outside of the surface?  All searches i see wis about decals on solid surfaces which is a non issue in this regard.  Adding a render to show what i mean.  Anyone have a suggestion?  

Hello I am looking for ways to project 2D vector graphics from Illustrator onto a 3D element. Preferably live view using perhaps a plugin or be able to update the view in 3D after adjustments in the 2D graphics.And finally be able to export to a universal viewing format.Thanks in advance. All the bestKasper

I'm liking the animation features on stager so far. I rendered out my first comp but when I open the PSD sequence on After effects, i am not able to isolate the model. If i open the individual PSD files on the sequence however, I can hide the background from the layers. is there a way to do this in a batch way? So i don't have to open all 200psd files and hide each background independetly?

Hi community,in stager animation settings I setup 3s, fps 10 , so this should give 30 images sequence.Time line in stager shows : 3 seconds.When imported in Premiere the sequence is more than 2 minutes?Same in Premiere rush.How can I find the right settings, given 20 seconds for 1 turn 360 degrees in stager?Has anyone an idea what I´m doing wrong, please give advice.Hans 

Hello, Whenever I turn on the ray tracing preview in Stager, everything has a yellow tint to it. See screenshot below: It looks almost as if there is a light with a yellow color in the scene, but I only have the environment light turned on and it is set to pure white. I have only experienced this issue in versions 1.3.0 and later. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks!

I'm looking to create a 3D model of a garment (tee, hoodie, etc.) and then generate multiple versions of it with alternate graphics and colors. does substance family offer any scripting capability?when I add an image, is it linked to the file on my mac which I can switch to change the model?any suggestions on how to achieve that?thank you!

Hi, I'm trying to make a honey material in Stager, but cannot make something realistic. I am not sure the renderer supports enough subsurface scattering parameters at the moment. I'd appreciate any hint, thanks!

When a Substance has inputs whose visilibity is governed by conditionals, Stager always displays them regarless of the condition. Stager 1.3.2 Release.

Hello,I created a table in Substance Designer and want to import it in Stager. But the file .sbs is not in the list of files in open dialog. How can I import objects created in Designer into Stager? Im on trial if it matters.

I've been trying  a number of things to get my render to match what I see in the design window with little success.  My background image gets stretched, usually horizontally, with the addition of a grey border (see attached screenshots. My specific goal is to add some 3D text with a glass material to a high resolution image. I've tried using the match image feature, setting the output resolution of the camera output to match the original resolution of the image, turning on and off the override camera size in the render settings and using different background images.One screen shot is of the design mode and the other is the output of that screen after rendering.I'm guessing this is easy to do but I just can't seem to get it.  Thanks for any help.  George

Procedural models can generate meshes with geometries disconnected from each other. When exporting the object, Stager exports each separate geometry as a separate mesh. Please provide an option to export as a single mesh.

Every time I update a Substance parameter, there is a 'Loading' popup appearing in the middle of the workspace view. This is very annoying to make demo videos of what we're working on in Stager. Instead of a popup, you may use a loading icon somewhere in the UI but please not in the middle of the main view!

When receiving a material from an external source such as Designer ("Send To Stager"), if the material already exists in Stager (same ID), please update it instead of creating a new one, and update the scene accordingly with the updated material. What is currently happening is a new material is being added to the library which creates the following problems:- we quickly end up with many similar materials into the library- we have to re-assign the new material to the objects in the scene and re-configure them. You may make this behavior configurable if you wish, but at least provide the option to update instead of creating new. This makes the most sense I think if the material has the same ID, then it's meant to replace the existing one.

Hi, I am posting here as I originally posted in the Dimension forum but am now having the same problem on both Dimension and Substance, and as support is being decreased for Dimension with Substance being Adobe's new focus, thought maybe I'd have more luck posting here: Here is my post about Dimension for reference: Dimension suddenly unusable due to auto-pan bug - Adobe Support Community - 13499802 I am having the same problem in both programmes. They were working fine yesterday. It doesn't matter what file I open or if I start a new project, same problem happens. Thanks!

Hi,small question: Why is it still shown here (Mac Studio - Apple m1 Max, OS 12.3.1 Monterey) that 1.2 is the current version? I would like to update to 1.3.2, as I need bug fixes and new features. But it is not possible to update to this version.Are Mac users left behind again? Is it because of the configuration of my Mac?And why the hell is there still no M1 support?

GPU support for Mac? why is this long standing issue being ignored?

With the full take over impelentation i noticed that the new substance source replacement did not carry over my credits. I know i had over 100 credits there. I don't know the specific amound :(. I was stoked to see the new programs having parity and wanted to spend some of those credits trying things out.

 Substance Stager 3D claims I do not have a subscription, when I clearly do.Got a ton of work to do with Stager, this weekend, but when I try to launch Stager, it alerts me that I will either need to log into my CC subscrition (I am logged in, and even tried logging out and back in), or start a trial (which I also tried, same result), then. closes.Very upsetting, as I really need to get a lot of work done.What could be causing this, and what to try to fix it?

Is the Substance 3D Stager compatible with the new iMac 24" with M1 processor? I'm asking this because first I installed Stager in a 27" iMac 5K with Mojave 10.14.6, but the application stucks in the starting window and never opens. GPU is Radeon Pro 580, 8 Gt - could it be the problem. If I can't solve this in my 5K Mac, I'm planned to buy the new iMac 24", but I have to be 100% sure the Stager runs on it.
