EC 4008 stopping the download of PDF's from my mail

I have just had a problem on my IMac downloads from my emails - When I receive an email with attachment and click on this it just comes up with

code":"EC-4008"

"requestId":"f4cb9f67-67f1-9a2d-2f2c-5a000b017200"} and does not open...

What is this and how do I fix it?

It means the page you were trying to download but couldn't had sensitive information on it. It also means the bank or whoever you were dealing with has received the file information by cloud transfer for processing so your download step which failed will not be needed afterall and will not affect overall objective you were trying to achieve or outcome.
