Is there a custom validation script for a Canadian Postal Code (form was created in Acrobat XI)?  Thanks much.

I have a Text field named "MyField". I'd like to add a Custom Calculation Script to it. Every time I select the edit, enter the code, and then click OK, it does not save the code and then reselects the default "Value is not calculated" option. It will even happen in fields that I have already saved previously and that did once work. When returning to them sometimes, I will see the selection change from "Customer Calculation Script" to "Value is not calculated" as soon as I activate that Calculate tab. Does anyone have any idea what causes this and/or how to avoid/correct it. I have tried searching all over Google and can't seem to find anyone else that has brought up this issue.

Hi,I have a PDF document that I've created which has a large number of text and check boxes on what will start out as a single page.My ultimate aim is to be able to click a button and have the same page spawned, but with all the text boxes cleared of any text, and all the checkboxes unclicked. Is there a way to create an action button for an object that allows the user to click and drag the object as many times as they like? For example, if I put in an image of an apple, can I have the user click on it and it will make other apples that the user can then put anywhere on the doc, does that make sense? Thanks!

Hello,We would like to disable the adobe right mouse click context menu for our employees that don't have rights to use the Adobe Acrobat pro XI software. With Active Directory we can control the users in GROUPS who can see and use the Adobe acrobat pro XI software, but as standard all users see the adobe acrobat pro right click context menu which is used to convert/combine to PDF.We can disable the whole adobe context menu by editing or removing the root registry key (see under) but then the users with rights for adobe pro XI can't use it anymore. I am wondering if there is a way that I can export my toolbar/etc. settings from Adobe Acrobat on one computer, and import them into another. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard (old, I know).

Where is the Prepare Form on Acrobat.adobe.com?  I've signed in on the web to my account but I cannot find the Prepare Form Tool. 

In Adobe Acrobat, I've created a template with multiple pre-fill fields. However, I don't see the ability to assigned a signature field to myself. I need to sign the document before sending it to my manager for approval. Is there a workaround or something that I'm missing?  

Hi.Im having trouble attaching a PDF file to my Yahoo email. Im using a Lenovo PC, Windows 7. When I attach the file, it won't attach. The attachment appears with a red exclamation mark on it, as shown in the screenshot below.The attachment is not too big to attach.  I can send it via the MyMail app with my yahoo email. Solution?

A recent Adobe update seems to have stopped Auto-OCR when clicking on the "Edit" tool with a scanned document open. In the past, when opening a scanned document and selecting the "Edit" tool, the document would auto-OCR and re-orient. Since the update, the auto-OCR no longer occurs, though it does work with the "Scan and OCR" tool > "Recognize Text".  The "Scanned Documents" section of Edit Settings is grayed-out when a document is not open. When opening a scanned document (this has ocurred across multiple different scanned documents), the "Scanned Documents" portion of the panel is missing. This change isn't the end of the world, but it does add time to every scanned document, which adds up over time when dealing with large quantities of scanned documents.  Ran Adobe Updates today (3/25/25) Are there any Settings changes I can make to return the Auto-OCR functionality?  

Currently AI generative feature is allowing only 600 pages maximum. Can you please increase the limit. 

Users who use Adobe Sign can send a form to be signed but they cannot cancel it, and when a user signs it, it still says they haven't signed it. Any suggestions how to fix that?

Hello All,Up until a month or two ago when users (Reader DC and Adobe Pro XI) opened a PDF email attachments and selected "Save As," Adobe would open the last location it saved documents to.  Now it's opening to:  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\XXXXXXX.  Outlook 2013 is doing what it has always done, open the attachment from the temporary location it stores the file, so it has to be some change in Adobe.  Now user's have to constantly go Windows Recent Places and locate the folder. They didn't have to do this before.For example if they view an email and open PDF0001 and save it to X:\CustServ\2017\07-10, after closing that document, going to the next email to open the PDFzyx then do Save As it would open the same folder, X:\CustServ\2017\07-10.  That's not happening now, it default to the Content.Outlook\XXXXXXX folder.I've tried unchecking Preferences > General > Show online storage when

Hello, it is possible to have three diferent fields for month, day & year and create a full date from there in another field?We have a lot of people that enter always day as a month and I'm trying to avoid mistake and reprocesses.

I am attempting to remediate a PDF for accessibility, but am running into myriad issues. One that I cannot wrap my head around is that I am running into a tagged content element failure for content that does not even exist. I attempting to show the content in the content panel and it is not there. See below. One of the content element failures is highlighted in blue. All failures look as such; a content failure where no content exists. Is there a remedy to this problem? I have recreated the PDF from a Word doc and still run into the same issue. I would just delete these elements but since they don't even exist...Thank you for any help.

 I see there is a History tab in Firefly where you can view previously generated images. Can you also add a history tab of generated images that were created in Acrobat? Or have them saved in History tab of Firefly? I spent my credits in generating, by default, four images in Acrobat but am only able to select one of the four when working with Acrobat. I was hoping they might show up in Firefly history but no luck. Please and Thank you!

While other elements, such as dynamic text fields, function correctly within the stamp, the checkboxes are not interactive when the stamp is inserted into a document. I understand that form fields within a stamp become non-interactive once the stamp is applied to a document. This is why i search for a way to make the checkbox interactive (clickable)  Thank you very much in advane.

Keep getting the error Acrobat has detected that this page doesnt have editable text.  I have been editing pdf's for years and today it will not work.

Is there a way to remove the unchecked boxes after someone e-signs a document? This is how it looks after it has been e-signed.
