Questions

I am having trouble setting up a custom paper size.  From 'Properties' of my Adobe PDF printer I am going to 'Printing Perferences'.  Then from the 'Adobe Printing Settings' tab, I am clicking on 'Add' Adobe PDF Page Size.  Then I am naming my page size and inputing the desired width and height.  Next, I click on the 'Add/Modify' button.  The 'Add Custom Paper Size' window closes like it has added it, but it is not in my select list.  What am I doing wrong?

What has happened now, as you now can not use a carriage return on these forums. (No new line) it just bounces back. No new paragraphs can be created?

Since a few days I am unable to insert web links in my replies in the forums for Lr4 and Lr5 beta..When I do I get a message saying that "You can not post a blank message. Please type your message and try again.". When I try again, the result is the same. It seems that answers containing web links are not accepted whether I use the "insert Link" button or just paste the web address into the body of the message.Previously I was able to insert links without a problem. Does anyone else experience this? Has the policy of the forum website changed to not allow web links anymore?

I can't seem to search for  videos on Adobe TV today. It was working perfectly yesterday. The only videos I can play are the 2 that happen to appear on the tv.adobe.com homepage.I get no video search results, or just an empty space when I try to filter on Products, Channels, Shows, (see screenshot below) The "All products" dropdown is empty.Some of the homepage links give this error:Im using Firefox 17.0.5 and I've tried clearing the cache & cookies already and restarting firefox with no luck.

Hi,I have been having problems with how lines in excel come out when printing using Adobe PDF or PDF Creator.  In both cases the thickness of lines, while consistent in excel, comes out completely random in PDF.  My PDFs go to clients and appearances are very important.  The most common way for me to prepare reports is to to paste Excel spreadsheets into PowerPoint as links, adjust the size of the spreadsheet to fit the slide and print, and PDF Powerpoint document.  I am using Office 2010, and Adobe Acrobat X.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Kiki

I have IE10 on Windows 7 x64, and haven't had any system changes since the last Windows Update 12 days ago.  Yet now for the past day or so I am having problems replying to threads.  This is new, and on top of the problems over the past several days where the Enter key simply does not work right.It doesn't always go wrong, but when it does it goes like this:I click the Reply link.I type a message (using, e.g., shift-Enter to get new lines into the post)I click the [Post] button.Unexpectedly the following pop-up is shown:  If I choose "Stay on this page" it just sits there showing "Please Wait" forever.  If I choose Leave this page, it shows this: What I want to know is this:  Isn't anyone responsible for making this forum work right?-Noel

How do I get the drop down Country menu to change my default country? Default is USA but selecting UK has no effect. I get regular pop ups telling me to update then the system will not allow me to do so because of this. Even if I continue as if in the USA the update fails as I'm not there! Catch 22 Selecting the UK on the drop down just gets, "oops the page can't be found"

I only use Photoshop and Lightroom, and my monthly subscription is going up from $30 to $50.  I have been unable to find anywhere on the Adobe website to send a complaint.  There seems to be no way to penetrate Adobe's defenses against customer contact.  I found an online chat option but after 1/2 hour of waiting it simply dumped me back to the bottom of the queue.  Does anyone have an email address for an Adobe customer service employee who is fluent in  English?  Thank you!!!

I'm looking to have a release waiver that is currently paper, turned into a esign waiver.I was thinking maybe have customers use a tablet to fill out information and then sign it and then it would go into a database.Will an adobe product do this? I am about to overhaul my website and am wondering is adding flash is worth it or not. I have heard that flash is bad for rankings though, is there any tricks around it? I don't want to make any more mistakes going forward.

Seriously.I've had repeated problems with my account and they are never rectified properly. When I talk to other members of the design community, their experience has been similar.The live chat is a joke. The phone number takes 2 hours on average and is also a joke. I've even had it suggested that I use the postal service to mail my issue in to Adobe to get it rectified. I'm so irritated with Adobe that I could just cry. I'm at my breaking point. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Why do you think Adobe does such a poor job in this area?

I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but . . . I was just looking at the Abobe home page, trying to see what Photoshop products are available. I click on the Products > Photoshop links in the top menu bar, but this only brings me to successive screens where I can't ever seem to find a list of PS programs and products.First, I'm sent to a page that on top has me either going to PS or LR. If I click on the PS option, it brings me to a page about the creative cloud--not anything about PS??? After I had gone back to the first page with PS/LR options a number of times, I finally figured out that I could scroll down on the page to see a list of PS and LR products, but that is not at all intuitive. When I finally get to a products page, it's really hard to get information about the product features, since Adobe seems intent on 'oh wowing' me, instead of giving me useful information. When I try to upload an image in this or another forum (via the camera icon), it doesn't appear. The english error message seems to be "Object doesn't support property or method 'createContextualFragment'" . I can only show a german error message screenshot.The image will be uploaded, but will not be pasted in the text form. The only solution is to load the image to a webspace and set a HTML link , as I did with this screenshot:miss_marple

I just upgraded to IE10 and I am having intermittent problems posting to forumsSince the forums are also being changed, I'm not sure if I should point the finger at IE10 or the forumsAnother data point... pressing the Enter key sometimes does not work, I need to press shift+Enter for a new lineAnd, I will be typing on a new line and the cursor will jump back to the previous line... which I **think** I remember was a past problem with forum codeAlso, randomly, when I click to post what I have written, a pop-up box asks if I want to leave the page... and then the post key does NOT workADDEDSeems the problem was IE10 - which I have put in "compatibility mode" for the forums, and all now works as it shouldSigh... there are days that I just really hate software updates!

This morning when I used my bookmark for Bridge http://forums.adobe.com/community/bridge/general, the page has Adobe icon and says  "this item does not exist, it may have been deleted".  Went to the Adobe Community link and looked up Bridge at http://forums.adobe.com/community/bridge?view=discussions and this works, and give me same Discussion page as yesterday.Is Jive changing addresses?  Would be nice to know in advance.
