While viewing a thread in the Adobe forums my Avast! Antivirus blocked a script running in Firefox. It attempted to download a trojan to my PC. The source of the script was: http://forums.adobe.com/4.5.6/resources/scripts/gen/220b1b06a29F901e1d24252ac800883e.js.The infection was: JS:Blacole-AV [Trj]EDIT: It is happening more frequently now from various links. Hello, I'm new to Flash (using Flash CS5.5 on Mac OSX) and am trying to make a stop motion animation using photos that were created in a layered psd file and then turned into individual jpegs. There are many of them (400 and will be more) and I'm trying to find a way to make the process more automated. What I think I want to do is import the images into the Flash library and then have each image be a blank keyframe. I can do this by copying and pasting into place each individual image, but this is way too time consuming. I assume there is some straightforward way to automate copying and pasting each images into consecutive blank keyframes... but so far haven't had much luck.Open to other suggestions and appreciate any help!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Forum reskin private beta. We received a lot of very helpful feedback that went a long way in helping us really understand what is most valuable and important to all of our members. The Adobe Forums have not had a major design update since we originally launched on the Jive platform back in 2009. However, with the launch of Adobe Creative Suite 6 and the Adobe Creative Cloud, we expect that the Adobe Forums will become an even more essential resource for the entire Adobe community. In fact, one of the major design goals was to create a more integrated user experience between the Creative Cloud, Adobe.com, and the Forums. Some of the major changes include: Dramatically simplified global navigation More consistent sign-in/sign-out experienceCommon UI elements and interface conventions, including shared fonts (Adobe Clean served via TypeKit) and color palettes. In fact, both the Creative Cloud and Adobe Forums now use a dark-grey right-ha
When we first started seeing the posts generated from Community Help, the OP's query was not shown, leading to a lot of confusion. Then, things seemed to have been fixed, where the OP's query WAS shown as the first Reply in the thread. I am starting to see many threads, where the original question is NOT being shown again, such as with this one: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1044742?tstart=0Is this lack of display on my end, or have things rolled back with Community Help threads?Just curious,Hunt
As a professional company of this size, having a pre-selected download of McAfee antivirus when performing a standard flash update is a very aggressive manipulation of what should be a fairly effortless process. Have the option there, fine, but don't pre-select it. There are certain to be thousands of users not needing the software nor wanting it installed, that might stumble into an installation and waste time trying to prevent an install, or worse confused at just what exactly is being installed and the complications that will arise. What's really horrible about this is that it's already done, this is already happening to many users right now who are downloading the newest flash update. This kind of aggressive user manipulation is going too far. Adobe is better than this, I expect a much more professional experience from this company. You need to seriously consider the consequences of utilizing aggressive persuasive technology like this. It might seem like an innocuous pre-selected opt
I was told by an Adobe Live Chat Representative that I needed to upgrade from CS4 to CS6 if I wanted to add a forum to my website. When I tried to learn how, I found an earlier forum discussion that said you can't make a forum directly in Dreamweaver unless you can hand-program in PHP or SQL. Instead you have to use an outside software package (such as phpBB) and integrate it into your existing website. So I need to know:1) Can you create forums using the tools available in CS6?2) Can you integrate a forum desgined using a package such as phpBB into a Website designed in CS6?3) Do I have to upgrade to CS6, or can I accomplish the same thing with CS4?Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Once again, something's different. It's not "broken and I can't get squat done" different, just "annoyingly" different.Start a new discussion, or edit a post and find the edit box particularly long. Here's a zoomed-out screen grab of this particular one I'm typing in right now, as shown in Internet Explorer 9.It doesn't seem to do it in FireFox, but who knows what cache is in need of refreshing. This forum presents something new to shake one's head at every week. If only it could be a GOOD something, and the head shaking a nodding action. Maybe one day...Alas, I guess I'll delete my cached files and see if it clears up.-Noel
I have noticed lately an alarming increase in the number of posts with signatures including much private information that has to be later removed. In my ignorance, I tend to associate this with the increasing numbre of people posting from their mobile phones.Regardless of the causes for this, can something be done to automatically prevent this from happening? As I understand things, once such data has been posted in a public forum such as this, the damage is already done and cannot be corrected simply by deleting the data from the post.Of course, I am perfectly aware that the responsibility for not posting sensitive personal data lies with the poster, not with this site.
How can I rotate a video file an arbituary number of degrees, say 4 degrees?
TO ADOBEIt appears to me that each "improvement" in the fora (nod to Hunt) leads to more difficulty for those trying to answer the questions of Adobe Users. On May 24 the thread "Known Issues with New Skins" listed 27 problems. In the last 2 months just 6 issues have been corrected. This sends a strong signal that Adobe does not care about the opinions of those that respond to users every day, and so they are snubbing the one bright spot in Adobe customer service. Then a week ago the number of comments per page was reduced from 50 to 10, and after complaints on this forum, it was increased to 15, but nowhere near the 50 requested. Again, more difficulty in reading and responding to the fora. All these "improvements" make in more difficult to read and respond to users questions, and the response from Adobe and Jive is just abysmal. For sure, there are a few Adobe personnel that sympathize with our plight, but the overall tone of Adobe is one of "it is do

The Adobe site uses a fixed font size on many, if not most pages. This is almost illegible on high resolution monitors and, as it is fixed, zooming the page enlarges everything you don't need to enlarge and keeps the body copy the same illegible size.Using a 27" Apple monitor, the copy shows up on screen at a miniscule 6.75 pt. I have to use a hardware zoom to read the blinkin' content. How is this a good thing? Can't figure out why they dropped the relational font size tag.By the way, I couldn't find any website feedback link. I hope an Adobe rep is following this forum.Thanks,-TY
As I understand things, the green blob in this screenshot of the main page of the forum in Spanishindicates that the question in this 2009 thread has been answered. There are however a few curious things:1. No message in the thread is marked as the correct answer.2. The author of the question was last logged in these forums in December 2009, when there was no button for marking an answer as correct.3. The thread was revived in June 2011 by someone with the same problem, but there were no further posts until today.4. Today's only post is the first post by someone who appears just as "member".5. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a moderator in the forum in Spanish.6. As far as I can tell, this is the first case in that forum of a thread marked as answered by someone different from the originator of the thread. So my question is: where did this green blob come from? Incidentally, I don't know if today's post is a correct answer to the question. First because I don't have Il
The present Spam report thread [4] was initiated over a year ago when the old thread was 190 messages long, because "...the previous thread ... has served its purpose but is getting too long to be read comfortably on mobile devices". Well, the present thread has well exceeded that mark, as it was 422 messages long at the time I started to write this message.Wouldn't it be time to let the present thread rest in peace by the same argument that led to the closing of the previous one? Not that I use mobile devices to visit these forums, but...
HOW DO I GET A RESUME FORM ADOBE
Hello, my name's Thalles, and I'm a brazilian web developer.Checking the Adobe's store I have noticed something interesting - not -, the prices in brazilian Adobe Store are almost twice expensive. For example, the Creative Cloud originally is U$ 49,99/m correct? Well, if you're brazillian you'll have to pay U$ 94,99/m. Photoshop, for example, in the br-store it's U$ 1.159,00. And that applies for every adobe productI cannot understand why Adobe would set the prices higher in a sub-developed country, where minimun wage is 4 times lower then north americans. And Adobe cannot say that it's because of the importation taxes, since I want to buy the download. It just seems to me that Adobe is aking to Brazil: "Please, 'crack' me".Hope it'd get fixed.PS: srry for bad english

When I visit the Photoshop Forum and click on a post, any post, the page that loads is scrolled to the bottom.http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop/generalI am on an early 2008 Mac Pro, with 10 GB RAM, running Mountain Lion, browser is Safari 6.0, but this also happened in Safari 5. This also happened under LIon. No matter which post I open, I land at the bottom of the page instead of the top. This only happens in Adobe Forums, no other sites. Here is a screen shot, for what it may be worth (not much, I'll wager), of a freshly loaded forum post. Note that I did not scroll to the bottom. The page loaded that way:
Message #13 in this thread has Adobe ID and case number. Can it be removed as it is not essential to get the correct solution for people to use in the future:<http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1050183?tstart=0>Thanks.
I am about to change email addresses. IF nothing else is changed,Name, address, nickname for adobe and the forums.Does thi affect history of products I've purchased and my posting history on the forums?I'm switch from my current ISP to Comcast.
Is Flash dead? Why can't I play a simple SWF file anywhere??It used to be automatically associated with the Flash Player Plugin. Now, it's not associated with anything! Regardless of how many times I download and install the new Flash Player. For me that's embarassing, since I am on of your monthly CS6 subscribers.Lee GilletteOnSite Mobile Web Design, LLC
1. it should be noted, that when uploading a profile photo it will automatically generate an avatar from that picture. I had added an avatar first, and then the picture, which made my first step redundant. Just saying2. max. upload size says images can be upto 24Mb, but the uploader dos not accept anything over 2Mb.
I find it hard to believe that Adobe considers itself a "Web Innovator" when it can't even keep its own site running. Last month I tried to order a subscription to this Creative Cloud via the website and couldn't, I had to call a sales rep. I told this rep about the issue and also about trouble I have been having getting anything to return on the My Orders, My Recent Orders and My Order History pages. There is no contact info on the site to report issues with the site (a "Contact Webmaster" link would be nice). It appears Adobe is another Microsoft; top priority = sales, anything else is off the radar. You would think a company that makes its living in the web world would ensure its website is bullet proof.Raymond Sugel Sr
I am beyond frustrated that Adobe has always dropped the ball when it comes to midi controllers. I use a very popular widely used controller; AKAI MPK. Other programs like FL studios have a generic interface for midi controllers that you can assign. However, Audition is best for what I do via creating musical scores for videos. I dont understand why Adobe refuses to implement the one thing lacking from their DAW, generic midi controller interface! I dont want to use the stupid virtual keyboard while trying to stay in tempo with the meternome! Do you have any idea how hard it is to click the mouse on the appropriate virtual key while staying on tempo?! Someone from Adobe please explain to me why you have always been so hard headed in implementing live recording/ midi controller recording?? I am tired of you refusing to let Audition be an amazing DAW. Stop limiting your program for the love of God!!
I want to upgrade my student version to a full version of eLearning 2.5. Based on what I have read online, it appears to me that there is no problem upgrading to a full version suite. Is that correct? Thanks!
