I expect I am the odd man out here, but we'll see.The old forum software sent plain text email notifications.The new forum software sends multipart/alternative emails, with HTML and text.I find this a bit annoying, since for non-forum workflow reasons, I usually end up viewing the HTML version of an alternative message rendered to text, and it's a bit less clean to deal with. It would be nice to have a per-user setting to choose plain text emails, which I know exists in a lot of software. But I don't imagine there's an easy way to turn this on.And I suppose that most people prefer the multipart/alternative format emails to either text or HTML.Well, just curious.

Many subforums used to have a search field for searching just within this subforum. I can't find this any longer after the update. Is this possible to add to my Personlized View tab?

I have a 1280 x 768 display. I'm having a lot of trouble reading forum content without aggressively increasing text sizes in my browsers.My sites look exactly the same today as they did yesterday so it's not a display issue at my end.  Nancy O.

I reall miss the above. Any chance they could be returned? It's much more time consuming to have to go back to discussion page each time.

I do not want to receive emails of replies to threads where I have posted.  So I click on the option to NOT receive emails after I post.  But I continue to receive them.  And everytime I return to that thread, the option to receive emails is enabled again.  How do I turn these off permanently?

I could never understand why Jive insisted on dithering GIFs, until you clicked to view "the real thing". What else is new? Are the random linefeeds history (I hope!)?

Just to mention a few important things dealt with in Forum Video Tuturials:The new and immensely improved search features are shown in How to use Search in the Adobe ForumsOne likely annoyance covered, to avoid emails of different kinds, you will have to use the Edit preferences Action under Your Profile, replacing the default Yes to No. This is shown in How to manage Email Subscriptions in the Adobe Forums (when the damage is done you will have to undo it in the Manage email notifications Action).

I haven't been able to log in to the forums all day with my original account (screenname johnrellis).  After I enter the email address and password in the login screen and hit submit, the browser says "Redirecting" and spins forever (well, I waited 15 minutes).  I've tried deleting the browser cache and cookies, with both IE 9 and Firefox 5.

Hi.I have a publication in Adobe In Design cs5.5 created for my ipad, I'm downloading  Digital contents through the Adobe Content viewer, ¿¿why while sharing with another ipads, it stops charging and drop me errors like: "there is an error reload purchase and download the application again "or also other different errors, the publication is in the adobe Content Viewer and is paused, however i can view some parts of the aid, someone can helpme with this issue sharing publications please???Hola.Tengo una publicacion en Adobe creada desde In Design cs5.5 para mi ipad, estoy descargandola por medio del adobe content viewer, ¿¿por qué al compartirla con otros ipads se detiene la carga y me dice que "hay un error vuelva a cargar la aplicacion y descargue la compra de nuevo" o tambien otros errores diferentes, la publicacion está en el adobe content viewer y queda pausada, sin embargo logro visualizar parte de la ayuda, alguien me podria ayudar con este tema de compartir las publicacione

HI,I have created a flex desktop application. Everything works fine. I have a doubt about How do show the custom message when uninstalling my application from add/remove programs. Hello admin's and moderators,I think it must be analyzed to create new national forums such as Portuguese.I myself am able to spread and take care of organizing the forum. I have a great knowledge about Photoshop and has worked as an administrator in other forums. I am giving this suggestion because the board at that job as moderator, i see that there are users with questions and suggestions regarding the Photoshop, and it would be a very interesting means of communication between novice and professional users with Adobe products.I hope everyone's comments. Has anyone elce noticed that the spell check built into Safari (5.1) does not work at all when you're using the full editor. It works fine in the HTML editor. Spell check kind of works in Chrome with the full editor. You have to manually run a spell check. I don't have Firefox on this machine so I haven't checked there. It's kind of anoying.

West Coast USA (Vancouver Washington)... problem for the last week or so WinXP on a work network, sharing a T3 line... also Win7 on 7Mbps DSL at home... same problem in both places Problem is intermittent long response time when clicking on a forum or message... sometimes the return is 1-2 seconds fast, other times 15-20 seconds slow... and once in awhile, there is NO response and I have to click the "red X" Windows Explorer STOP and then click the forum or message again Again... two very different computers and Internet connections... only common element is location (6 miles apart) I have no way to tell if this is something with the Adobe servers... or the entire InternetBut... when I click on a non-Adobe link, I do not notice any unusal delay, so I don't think there is a general problem with the Internet Has anyone else noticed this?

I want to know if there is any possibility that I create an email pedrofilho@adobe.com? If given a choice, I wonder if it is free or has to pay something. If you have to pay a fee, I want know the value.Best ragards,Pedro Filho

It's very frustrating when one cannot effectively search something that is supposed to be a knowledge base/asset.Is it just me or is it extremely difficult to search this forum?Paul

Today my user name has an added suffix.  It is now Curt Y-EDSWS6.Where did the EDSWS6 come from and how do I get rid of it?It also changed my e-mail preferences to subscirbe to posts. (Which I changed back to NO)Edit - Posts I made today seem to have just Curt Y.  So does that mean I have 2 identities?

Not only did my avatar go AWOL, but so did my contribution history.  My user name log-in correctly shows my Adobe purchases history, so I haven't accidentally signed in under a different account name.Something's definitely reset my forum profile! HELP!Is there a way of salvaging it?  Thanks.

Not using my nornal computer, Firefox 5.0.1, while posting replies to the forum, and sometimes going to a new forum, I get:400 Bad RequestYour browser sent a request that this server could not undertand.Not quite sure what's up with that. I got that posting to the testing forum, and also posting to the InDesign General forum. I even got it just navigating to the Testing forum. In 2/3 cases, the post went through. In one case, it did not. (And hitting Back took me back to a blank page where my post was lost, argh!).Not sure if this is a new forum problem or somehow specific to this machine/browser, but I kind of doubt the latter. Anyhow, throwing it out there.

Hello I cannot delete the 'LIKE' BUTTON icon from the 'edit' section of the user-interface in ADOBE CONTRIBUTE, can anyone please help?I can delete anything else from the page but the 'like' icons remain static and cant be moved or deleted, very bizarre, anyone know how to remove them?Thanks
