I want to go from Adobe 4.0 Writer to more current versions, but I see that v9.0 Pro is not compatible with Windows 7.I need to be able to copy from pdfs to word or excel and have it correctly populated.  I do a lot of work with Excel and need this ability.  I can do it with v7.0 but that is not my copy and I do not like the way a document prints to the PDF file because it crops the data.Dennis

im really worried about upgrading from CS3 premiereto CS5?i have read online that Premiere CS5 Does NOT support True XDCamunless it has been shot at 35mbs onto theSXS cards, i would like to bypass the cards with an Aja and record at 10mb 4.2.2.and 150plus mbpsi can set the Aja or Nanoflash unit to record with mxf files or QT .mov files but obviously the data will be a lot higher.i cant get any sense out of adobe support, in fact i can barely understand him,anybody out there from adobe who could put in writing if they support this?or anybody using this system already. bypassing the compressed filesthanks

Is it allowed to copy original Adobe software(photoshop, illustrator) to a blank CD/DVD for back up?So the original files wouldn't be harmed, if anything happenes at the work place.

Good day.It is a well known fact that when we take images and increase their sizes in pixels, it isn't such a great ideaonce you cross a particular threshold. For example, to increase a 300 pixel wide image into 800 pixels is adreaded idea...even in Photoshop because of the artifacts produced.I believe that as a bat programmer myself, I have discovered a way to make such an increase without anyartifacts whatsoever.I would be interested in an Adobe prepresentative contacting me about my idea. I am creating images for someone using Captivate. I have created jpeg images and I have used .emf files for the vector images so they can be scaled. However, the vector images (.emf) come in looking horrible. The gradients are all chunky and the outlines are gone. The person I have made the images for has converted them to .png and they look fine, but I want them to still be vector. Everything I have found says that Captivate can handle an .emf. I am on a MAC and she is on a PC. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening? Is there a different winodws based vector format that would work. The images were originally built in Illustrator.

Am wishig to download Streaming via Flash to my hard drive. Is ths Possible ?

I couple of years ago I bought Adobe CS2, Photoshop, Illustrator & In-Design. My computer is a Dell PC 2004 and things are beginning to bog down and trouble. So if I get Windows 7 will CS2 run on it? I DO NOT want to spend more money upgrading (didn't like CS3 and they unnessary changes Adobe made to it).Thanks!

I have the trial version of element 8, instlled it yesterday, there is no SEND button so I can send email.  I am sure it is very simple but I have tried everything.  Please, Where is the SEND button???

Hello, I'm a student currently attending a college/university and I am looking at purchasing the Photoshop CS5 extended upgrade software and for discount purposes I am looking at the Student/teacher edition. I was looking at the limitations and what confused me was that it describes a 12 month period. I'm not sure what it exactly means. Does it mean that I am purchasing a product that can only be used for a 12 month period (like an extended trial)? I want to purchase this product and be able to use it for longer than that. Hi, what is wrong or what codec I need to open those .mov video clips in Premiere CS5. I have Quicktime installed and I`m using windows 7 64bit.Please help I just upgrade CS4 to CS5 because I thought that it can handel everything. Thank you.

I have CS5 and still haven't uninstalled CS3. When I load a plug -in (NIK Vivezia2) it will only show one plugin, despite loading a couple other ones such as silver effects pro.  Is it because I still have CS3 loaded? How do I uninstall CS3?  Do I unregister CS3 first and will it affect my CS5?Thanks,Ed[email address deleted by host]

Not a clue why or what the trigger for this one is but often I'll do a quick edit and it'll just refuse to show up.  I think it's typically when there's a very short time span between the post and edit.What really Jives me is that it doesn't always happen (this is with the same Chrome browser), ex I just did a fast edit on this forum in a post before this but it showed up fine.  What gives JIVE?  This 'forum' jiveware = fail.So is this a known issue or one of our many "accepted bugs"?  Something as basic as "edit" should work every time...

Regular text in design view has gone invisible on all 5 pages & can't be highlighted;bold & italic are ok. No global style sheets except for the spry menu bar. I've checked some obvious things, like text color. Any suggestions? I'm using CS4.

If I am viewing the Ilustrator forum, for example, the "forum search" box is one that searches all forums. I'd much prefer an option to search the current forum up front with the "more options" selection shown on the page in the first plage.

So, I had a duplicate forum profile problem (discussed here) that got resolved, which got me wondering about the following situation.I've moved from one country to another, and so had to create a new Adobe ID (for online purchases, etc.).Does anyone know if it's possible to merge the forum info (the past posts, points, etc.) for my two accounts?

Logged in this morning like I always do... and now I have to RE-logon every single time I change to a new forumThe "Welcome John T Smith" at the very top is still there, but every time I go to a new forum, or even a sub-forum such as @Premiere9384884, the lower place where my picture (generic soccer ball) would show instead has the login/register linkI click that link for the individual forum and I don't even get taken to the logon page, the information just appears... and I have to do it all over again when I switch to a new area
