my question is, why do the pms colors change do a different pms color after you choose the one you want in photoshop.for example when i pick the pms color: 138C, then use the eye dropper tool to see what color it is, it switches to 7413C.287C switches to 653C.it really causes confusion.how am i supposed to know that the color i pick is really the color its going to print?

Please, someone make these people accountable!  I've already spent more than 40 hours with Adobe and trying to resolve this and they won't help.  They promise to call back and never do, they promise to respond to the portal and never do.

Why isn't there a forum for Extension Manager? I've seen questions about Extension Manager sprinkled randomly through other products, and answerscopied from one forum to another. Why isn't there a forum for this product?

I have posts that are under an old user name.  Due to the.....well, interesting transition from the old forum and new forum, and confusion thereon, I did not transition my old posts to my "new" username at the time.I am a pretty technical user, but after reading all the posts about usernames, logins, e-mails, etc. etc., I gave up trying to find out the real answer.  Which clearly eventually was available because I see users that have their old posts.Is there anyone to get your old posts under that username from the old forum (which I understand did move over somehow) attached and tagged with your new forum name?  Or vice versa?BJBBJB1

I bought CS4 weeks ago and can not download it.  I've spent more than 10 hours on the phone with tech support, or mostly on hold, waited for  callbacks that never came, jumped through every hoop, erasing OS because they said it wouldn't download on a Mac running 10.6.3 and with less than 12 digits in the serial number (the day they said this was the first day Apple came out with 12 digits), deleted all adobe products and there has been no resolution.  No resolution offered.  They finally called back last Thursday and said they think it might be a disk problem and wanted to check but their software didn't work.  They PROMISED to call me back yesterday at 5 and PROMISED it would be resolved.  I was here at 5 and waiting but the call has yet to come.  They don't respond to the portal and everytime I call it is a minimum of 30 minutes on hold waiting to talk to someone.  They have taken more than 40 hours of my time and won't resolve this.  I bo

I'm getting ready to upgrade to a CS5 Premium Design suite through a third party vendor but before I do, I have a quick question I'm hoping someone can answer.While I have individual programs, my best price will be by upgrading from Macromedia Studio 8. I see that I can upgrade for $799. However, looking at 3rd party sites, their upgrade packages at that price are for upgrading from CS3/CS4. They offer no other paths.My question is this, if I buy one of those, will my upgrade work? I'm guessing I'll be fine, but just thought I'd check. I would have asked Adobe directly, but I can't seem to find any presales contact info.

Have an older  (unknown) version number of Adobe3 sets of photo's were taken and downloaded to the Digital Camera Photos folder on our computer.How to select as a group and copy the images to 3 separate folders.In other words from 'group folder'  to 'abc' folder, 'def' folder and 'ghi' folder.There are more than 25 photos to each group.tiaoldcity1062

On occasion I have found a particularly interesting thread with much information provided by several users and wanted to print the thread for future reference. When I print the thread, only the first one or two posts print, which amounts to about one page. The remaining posts do not print. I have tested this in both Firefox for Windows and Internet Explorer.If this is a bug, please try to fix. If this is a feature lacking, can you provide it?Thanks,Van

Today I planned to buy PhotoShop Elements 8.On the website was a price of $79.99 after rebate. $99 before.Now I live in Europe and thought in Euros it will be less, knowing the exchange rate.However in Euros it was €99. That's if you want them to send you the box. Downloading is even more expensive.Is there anyone out there that can explain me this logic.It doesn't feel right to me and I'm not buying...

I am so eager to try out the CS5 Master collection! But I have a few dilemas and questions. (as I am sure a lot of others do)#1, I have purchased two Premium suites. CS3 Web Premium when it came out and CS4 Production earlier this year. (in February) ... Does anybody know what the cheapest way will be to get my hands on CS5 Master Collection? I hope that Adobe will consider a new Upgrade price for those of us who have purchased CS3 and CS4. If not, I guess my best option would be to sell my new CS4 on ebay and upgrade the CS3?#2, I have 3 computers. (2 laptops, 1 desktop) I will need my Adobe products on at least two of them. -- Does anybody know how well this will work out? Like if I am using Dreamweaver CS5 at the office and forget to log off at the end of the day, will I be able to use it when I get home to my other laptop? Or will I have to drive back to the office and somehow deactivate that copy?

I was trying to layout a table using an Indesign custom script in CS4. Lately in the Adobe Reader forum, there has been a rash of people asking questions about "deployment" of updates and how to modify the patches for pushing over a network.It's just my opinion, but this is a "user to user" forum for everyday people who are having issues with the software and need help without having to pay for technical support.Someone who is "pushing a patch" over a network to hundreds of end users is:Not an everyday user.Being paid by someone else to push the updates.Being paid to modify the patches so they can do so.In such cases, there is an employer who is not only mandating the things stated above but reaping the benefits from having a professional do them for them.These employers should be paying Adobe Support to bring their people up to speed on how to "push" patches over the network in the way the employer wants it doneI'm not a network administrator (other than my five systems at home), I'm not an I/T professional (yet), and I don't write C++ or create APIs.I'm
