Just had to reset my password and the requirements are simply idiotic.   Every combination I wanted to use kept flagging it as 'being in my name or email'   Turns out, you cannot use the letters of your first or last name... anywhere in your password.   qewrtrsgfjkfkj123   through up flags because it contained, somewhere in it, those 2 letters.   Simply ridiculous and im guessing simply due to very lazy code.

 Adobe????  Now _YOU_ are cramming 2FA to get on the Community site????     Give us the option to disable this, as I cannot log on from work if this persists.  I do not have access to personal email from work, and I don't have access to work email from home.   And, no, I'm not putting my work email address in to my profile.

Dear Adobe,   please advance in your information security department and stop that ridiculous security by obscurity while FORCING customers to change their passwords on a regular basis. It is common and public knowledge since at least mid 2019 that this is achieving the opposite of your intention and does not really help (exceptions are existing) security. But it is totally annoying, as is everything that is useless but enforced.   Thank [insert your higher entity] that there are alterntives to your products worth taking a look at. Yeah and i know the comments coming like "Dude it's security!" or "Why so toxic about something that only takes 1 minute?".   [abuse removed by moderator]    

The 'Announcement ' banner at top of forum changes every 5 seconds ( cycles through 1 and 2 ), causing text in the forum to shift up and down every 5 seconds. I'm using Edge browser.Please fix it so it stops jumping.  suggestions:a) stop it from auto cycle so a user can just click the arrows manually to cycle through ? b) just put one announcement up there and if necessary put a different announcment in a separate post. Do something please because I cannot use the forum with the text jumping every 5 seconds. 🙂 pic one and two as sample of jumping.... compare spaces with fingers or something and you'll see it does jump quite a bit for 'reading a forum'.

I always use the "latest" option when viewing the community list, to see where there has been activity. It has always shown instantly the effect of any post, to bring communities to the top. I noticed that sometime yesterday, 18 March 2020, the list had frozen. Does not depend whether I am logged in. It still seems the same:

I've looked at the existing discussions and I couldn't see a real solution to this question.Not sure how I ended up with 'editing pdf files' as my screen name, but I clearly goofed there.How can I edit my screen name?

I just tried for 15 minutes to include an image, both from a  "helpx.adobe.com" link and by downloading/uploading via the image dialog (button indicated below, you know the one). Neither worked, but when I just pasted the link into the post, it rendered just fine. 🤦‍♂ It would render in the dialog, then just insert a blank line in the post, or render in the preview and then the final post would be sans-image.On Edge (&#x1f605) Version 80.0.361.66 (Official build) (64-bit), so the new Chromium based one. This was the post.

Hi,  I can't seem to change my email notification settings from "Immediately" to either "Daily" or "Weekly" since any changes that I save get reset when I refresh the page. I was wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing!   

Adobe, it would be easier to use if there was a "Post to community" link always available (e.g., from a thread). TIA!

Searching the Lightroom Classic forum for "opengl" returns a results page saying there are 768 results, but only 6 are displayed (sorting by Date) or 9 displayed (sorting by Relevance). There's no option to see the next page of results. TSIA.. what the heck is going on, NOW???   I'm still not sure how I managed to actually log on to the forums, because for the last five minutes every time I enter my email in the username field, when I hit enter I get the message "Personal accounts are no longer supported."   I HATE THIS PLATFORM!   ^ _ ^

Hi all,   Here's what we released today on March 5th, 2020: New   Emails We've modernized the email for when users earn a new badge. Bugs Fixed   Localized Strings We fixed bugs that showed the incorrect translations for "answers" in Spanish, "Unresolved" in French, and "Sort" in Japanese. We also fixed a bug where the localized string for "Announcement" was truncated.   Reading Posts We fixed a bug where if you use a direct link to a specific reply on a conversation page, you will land on the reply body rather than the avatar and screen name of the user who authored the reply. We also corrected various spacing issues on the Resources component and all throughout community board pages.   Roles We corrected the role name of "Most Valued Participant" to be "Most Valuable Participant".   Thanks, Melissa

Why Oh Why is the banner, and why oh why is there a banner at all, for placing a link to the community guidelines on every reply page. Here is a screen shot of it with a full screen browser page and one with the browser as a Window.    With my browser as a window that banner takes up even more space.     Don't you think that is a BIT OVERKILL????? Especially since IMHO No one ever Clicks On it.

The thread at https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/example-of-extendscript-palette-and-colored-buttons-revised/m-p/10957856?page=1#M311269  has been marked as SPAM for some reason.   It is a thread with example ExtendScript software and nothing else.  I did change the title by adding the word revised as I revised the code to match suggestions from those who answered the original post. How do I get this fixed?RONC
