hello there, my father in law somehow performed a system refresh on windows 8.1 and the following apps were removed as part of the process - Adobe Creative Cloud - version 4.8.1.435Adobe Lightroom Classic CC - version 7.5Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 - version 19.1.7Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 - version 13.1 there is a distinct lack of media or serial number information available, but he does pay a monthly subscription to Adobe for the above services so do i contact them directly explaining the situation or can anyone offer advice on the best way to solve this puzzle so i can get him up and running again please? no system restore point available either i checked that already. Please feel free to correct me. So this is what used to be called the lounge but is now just called Adobe Support Community is that right? I can't see my posted comments like I use to. In the lounge they'd appear immediately but not here is there some setting that I need to change? Why did Adobe make this move when it seemed everything was working fine with the old site? I don't get it.

Every time I come into the forums, I have to log in. Is there a way for the system to remember us? Also, how do we make our preferences in the dropdown stick? Every time I come back in it's set for "Relevance" which to me means nothing. Relevant to what? So, I can set it to "Latest" but as soon as I go into a thread and hit the back button to come back to the thread list, it's defaulted back to "Relevance".
When subscribed to a forum I get the information about recent posts.Each of these posts does not only contain the relevant text, but starts with a huge image which is absolutely useless and wastes bandwidth and storage. I always need to scroll down to get to the relevant information.→ Remove this annoying garbage (in my case the image is a grey area anyhow) from the e-mail sent!
I need my simulation to ignore random or accidental single clicks and only recognize a double click. My current simulation has double click enabled but if a user single clicks then it is counted as a fail. How do I fix this?

It is difficult to find some boards. Some users don't know they need to filter by a particular product area in order to see certain boards. Example: You need to check the "Documents & PDF" filter in order to see the Document Cloud PDF Services, Type & Typography, and Acrobat Reader Mobile boards. The main filter options (Popular, Alphabetical, Latest) don't show all boards and interact with the fitlers as well. Also, some boards are only discoverable when searching for them, Community Help for example. There should be an easier way to access the master list of all boards without filtering or searching on the forum landing page.
Having issues being able to post, add reply, or create a discussion on any of the forums. Anyone else having this issue?

I've been a contributor on these forums for around 9 years using my work email address. That address hasn't changed. Only now suddenly I have a newbie profile with no content. (and no links to discussions I've been contributing to.) The only thing that's changed is back in March we switched to Federated/Enterprise IDs for licensing the Creative Suite. Still, as of August I was able to log into my old profile with my email. Just this week I was following up on a post and I was prompted, at login, to create a forum name. I tried my forum name, and it told me it was "in use." I tried multiple variations of my name and they were all in use, and ended up settling on this one. I now have no way of logging into the old profile, since I'm still using the same address. Please gives us our sub-forums back. We were told that the flattening was done to make it easier to use the forums but this is quite obviously unsuccessful. The filtering mechanisms are so weak that they can't possibly provide a suitable alternative. I hate to be negative avout the new forums, but they make it so difficlt to provide the support that I want to give.
The page footer that shows links for Community Help, Experience League, etc. Always gets lost off screen as you scroll through the list of posts. Just when you think you've caught up with it more posts load and it's gone again! It should be fixed on the current page just like the page header maybe in a more compact form.

I have been working through the forums trying to find answers to questions I have but am hitting some serious fundimental usibility issues. The one that is killing me the most right now is, there is NO visual indication at all that you have visited a post before in the "Related Topics". With "Related Topics" there is the other issue of the green check by the post. If i am not mistaken the green check has for some time indicated a "correct answer". Why use the green check in "Related Topics" for posts that have zero replies? The first few links you think you are getting a post that someone has indicated a correct answer but when you click on the link... not even a reply. All of the usibility issues experenced are easily discoverable within minutes of just fundimental use of the forums.Search the forums for "Captivate 2019 Assets".Try to get more than 7 posts to list.Find a thread where a user says, "In my previous post" or "in another thread I replied to".T
Will anyone who visits my profile page see messages that have been posted to the restricted access Adobe Community Professional forum pages such as the 'Back Room'? Some of the content in the message preview could contain NDA content. So, will all users be able to see this? If they can would they be able to navigate the link and read the content?
Whoever changed my avatar from my picture to a skull is pretty inconsiderate. Whatever method you use to override customer preferences with your own avatars is not exactly funny or nice.
Who created this profile for me?I did not authorise this. And more to the point this is not my Adobe forum name under my account, this name is soul_I have posted 4 questions in the community using soul_ so can some explain what is going on?Also I can now only access 2 of the 4 questions I have posted. Two questions have magicaly disappeared.It seems some chacaters have been added to the end of my Adobe Forum name soul_ to make this riduclous ID of soul_-UNOIKhI also notice somonee else with my profile name soul_ which was created in 2018. 6 yaers after I created mine. I assume two people can not have the same Adobe forum name, is this correct?If so then please can someon etell me how can my profile name that was created in 2012 this being soul_ be now soul_-UNOIKh and how can there be another id of soul_ created in 2018 be in my place?Can someone help me out with this. I would like to know why I've had my solution walk-through to a very troubling Dreamweaver bug deleted from the thread twice. This was a solution to my own post. PLEASE bring back the livecycle forums. Why would Adobe get rid of a whole forum that was used by many people? There are alot of people who still use livecycle and who benefited from the years of discussions/answers. Will you bring it back?
Since this forum was updated I can't access most links from indexed posts on Google, especially about InDesign Scripting. When I search directly for the title here, I can't find it either. Have these contents been lost?
