Hi all:I have a frameless project intended for phones and tablets. When a topic opens, it appears as a tiny shape in the top left corner of the screen, then expands very quickly to fill the screen. Is this normal for frameless projects? It happens with every topic and would be distracting for users.Is there any way to stop it happening?Thank you.Juliette

Hi, We're trying to implement the help in our product with the option to download the pdf format of the help. However, we run into issues with the download button because an extra slash is inserted into the URL for it during the generation process and Linux is not able to resolve the URL. For example, clicking on the button executes the following URL:https://<system_name>/system/help/en/us/administration//assets/downloads/User_Guides.zip Is this controlled anywhere in Robohelp itself? Can I prevent this from happening in Robohelp? Please advise.

I have upgraded a project from classic RoboHelp 2019 to RoboHelp 2020, and I would like to take advantage of the new cross-reference feature. Is there an easy way to convert thousands of hyperlinks into cross-reference links? I've found that I can fairly easily edit the HTML to create cross-reference links to topic titles. But really I would prefer to have cross-references to heading text. Those HTML edits are not working correctly, however. When I change an existing hyperlink to the desired cross-reference as shown below, RoboHelp magically erases the entire link, like so: <p class="RelatedTopics" dir="ltr"> </p> Existing hyperlink:<p class="RelatedTopics" dir="ltr"><a href="Parking_tools.htm#XREF_56756_Parking_Area_Tools">Parking tools</a></p> Desired cross-reference:<p class="RelatedTopics" dir="ltr"><a data-xref="{text}" href="Parking_tools.htm">Parking tools</a></p> 

I’m encountering a couple of issues with the translation process and I wonder if someone else has also been facing some obstacles.I’m using manual translation and more precisely I’m using the services of a translation agency. We are currently making some tests on the files… My questions are:1. The .toc file: Studio Trados doesn’t recognised the tags <book navtitle=”..”… as content to translate. Only the text between <title></title> is considered. So how is it supposed to be translated? Did I miss something?The .glo file is better in that perspective. Content to be translated is identified (no link) and recognized)2. The xliff format generated by RH: long <g> tags make the segments to be translated quite unreadable in Studio Trados. Sentences are cut and it makes it very uncomfortable to work for the translators. Here is an example. Again, did I miss something?3. I'm using RoboHelp 2020.3.32 publishing to Zendesk and my images keep disappearing after four days. According to Zendesk Support, this is caused by the images not authenticating properly. They suggest that I add the images manually (not an acceptable solution). Any suggestions on how to make this work in RoboHelp?

Hi all,My problem is the following: I enter the margins for the header and footer of the master page but when I generate the output nothing is changed. I tried entering the margins manually from the code but it doesn't work either. I should also say that I have entered my header and footer in tables with transparent borders I don't know if that makes any difference. Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem?Thanks and regardsMegi

I've read the posts on aligning text in RH 2020.3, but I don't see the alignment options shown in previous posts. On the Table tabl of the Properties panel, my Alignment options are:  That's it.  Why don't I see  top, middle, or bottom alignment icons?

I am trying to map tables in an imported Word document to the table style I defined in my project. I understand that I can do this for all tables at once during the Import process. Specfics:Using the current RH (2020.03) and a new doc created using Office 365In the new doc I added some text, an H1, and a table. I did not apply any formatting whatsoever. When I import the document I can access the General, Paragraph, Character, and Advanced tabs.No matter what I try I can never get access to the Table tabNote that the tables do come in just fine. If I apply styling to the tables, that comes also. If I set the style of a table to the table style in RH, that works too.Any help would be appreciated. I know this feature worked in 2019 and an older version of Word, I just can get it going now.

Is anyone experincing issues with Context sensitive Webhelp failing to find the correct path in the Index.html file?I recently converted a classic Robohelp 11 OLH into the new Robohelp 2020.I use the Map Id file BSSCDefault and I export it along with the output Webpro generated files. When I generate the output files - I have always used the "Use lowercase file names" option thus alll my output files are in lowecase. However, my BSSCDefault file is a combination of upper and lower case. That has not been a problem in the past.Robohelp defualt page is now help/index.html#t=start%2Fwelcome.htm ,In Robohelp 11 it was  /help/index.html#params/When I use the new format of path/index.htm?rhmapno=123, it fails to find the correct output file. I get :/help/index.html#t=tcase%2Flcs%2FLCS_Node_Emulator_Configuration.htmIt shoud be : /help/index.html#t=tcase%2Flcs%2Flcs_node_emulator_configuration.htm  Doesn't the Index file know that the Output file names were generated with all l

Hello Adobe-Community, We are currently in the testing phase with Robohelp 2020 and are testing out the possibility of reviews.We create a new group for active reviews and then select the content to be assigned to this group.After that, we then share this review group. As soon as I have invited two employees, I no longer see the group in the overview.Does anyone have a similar problem with this?Step 1: Step 2: Step 3:  Furthermore, I haven't figured out how to change a group from "Active" to "Completed".Thanks for the help from the community. 

Hi, I am using RH 2019 Classic and we generate responsive help. However, the URL has this "help/#t=The_User_Interface.htm. Is there a way we can remove "#t=" and have the topic name directly like help/The_User_Interface.htm. Any workaround on this like changing some XML file or anything would help.

Please could someone advise how to create a PDF output in RH 2017? I have configured the settings for printed output, but it just creates Word docs. I must be missing something. Thanks for  any advice.

When we insert an image in a content and want to have a frame around it, this frame does not work for image as "pop-up".In the screenshot below once the image in original size and below it as pop-up.Is this a known behavior?  

Hi, Everyone. I have several topics that have PDFs "attached." Attached isn't the right word. Each of these topics is simply a "blank page" that maps to the PDF asset as its source ("assets/docs/ETF History 2018.pdf"). When you click the title of these pages in the TOC, it should open the PDF in a new browser window. But they've all stopped working when serving my help system from SharePoint. I don't know exactly when they stopped working b/c I don't look at these pages often. But they worked as recently as a month ago. NOTE:  each of these pages operates just fine when viewing the help from my local drive. It's only on SharePoint that I get the "404 not found" error. Can anyone recommend some troubleshooting for me, please? Thank you!

Currently, I have my help delivered as HTML5 through RH2020. I am now exploring the tool to produce Frameless output. I'm a novice user with not a lot of CSS expertise but have been able to make decent progress using the Skin editor. I've made a copy of the default Studio skin and am making changes to it. While things seem to be working, I'm not been able to figure removing elements from the skin. For example, the skin adds a "share" icon by default. I do not need this, but I'm not able to remove it. While I've been able to play around with the styling of elements, any help around removing unwanted elements is appreciated.

Have many Word documents that I'll be adding to a brand new project (RH2020.3.32).  Added seven (7) folders for various company software modules. Ran into a problem when I added the 8th folder for a General Ledger Word document and started adding topics to that folder...the "folder" seemed to be a section. I could not view the the two topics I added from the Author>Contents panel. When I located the files in Explorer, I could view the General Ledger folder and the two topics that were added. Is the way RH is meant to work? Any recommendations or workarounds? Ideally, I'd like to keep everything organized as I'm also learning both RH again as well as the company software, and I'd like to have a folder for each Word document to stay organized. I may need 30 or more folders. Is that possible?    [image added by moderator - please use image icon in web interface instead of attachments]

I am trying to produce a Responsive HTML5 Output on Rh2020.3.32 version.  The Output generates and I am able to launch/view it.  I can also produce a Publish version of my pages and view them. When the output finished the generation, I am getting notified "Responsive HTML5 generated with some warnings.  View Log". Inside the log, there are lines with this statement: Error occurred while parsing inline style :1:7: Missed semicolon: "width:661.3px border-collapse: collapse; margin-left: 0.9pt; margin-bottom: .001pt;" 1. I do not see a way to click on the statement to open the page that has an error occurring.2. This statement doesn't tell me where the error is occurring. I have went to the pages listed above and below the error to view the html code and cannot see any warnings. Does anyone have any idea how to help me? 

Is it normal that a picture in a content is automatically indent, as soon as a figure caption is used?

Hi,I am new to RoboHelp 2020.3.32. I created a first project and have successfully generated pdf and Frameless output.I also want to create and maintain text strings for a software application, so that they can be used within the application for tool tips etc. How can I implement this?These text strings need to be exported from Robohelp in XML and imported to the software?Is there a proven workflow for this with Robohelp? 

We have existing responsive html5 online help developed using RH 2017.We are now moving to a frameless output in RH 2020.I was looking at this URL https://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh_tour/rh2020/outputs/calling_csh_help.htm,If I generate the frameless output in RH 2020 and just copy the output to the help server, it wont work, I assume. There is some difference between the 2 outputs. Does anyone know what it is? I need to tell my development team to update their code to now show context-sensitive help from a frameless output.

I want to add a button to my Azure Responsive HTML5 layout toolbar that when clicked, will allow the user to email a link to the current topic.I was following the steps on Peter Grainger's site for this (Email this topic) But it seems that I have to hard code this bit of the script: mailto:someone@theirdomain.comIsn't the point of this button that users can choose where to send the link to? So how can I hardcode it?Peter, if you're there, I'm sure I'm being totally daft but I can't work this out!Using RH2019.
