We are using lowercase on the Responsive Web HTML5 output but we found out that all of our topics were broken when trying to use index.htm?rhmapno=###. I was able to manually edit the .ali file to fix the problem but is there a way this can be fixed?
We are attempting to use the latest version of Robohelp 2019 14.0.6. With the application open but not processing or generating anything, Robohelp 2019 is taking up 3.5 gb of RAM memory, which is quite substantial. The strangely large about of consumed ram is causing slowdowns, sluggishness, and unresponsiveness in the application which is making using the software quite cumbersome. It there a configuration change we can make to reduce the amount of RAM RH2019 is eating up? Anything that we can do to make the software a bit more usable?
Hi, Can you please help me understand what is the differences between Frameless vs HTML5 output. when would i pick one vs the other? Also, is the Frameless output accessible? thanksGagan
I'm using the pre-built About RoboHelp project to test .chm output for a new project, and I'm wondering what I'm missing. The following image is the output log using the standard Microsoft HTML Help output preset. This happens regardless of the project, as I've tried doing the same with my personal project and get the same error. It seems like it stops at the packaging stage, and I feel like I may just be missing some Windows component.
I am currently using RH 2019 with new UI. When generating a Word output, the mapping option does not appear to have the option to map List styles. So, all List Styles are converted to Normal style in Word. This requires every list in the Word document to be assigned a Word style manually, as I use several list styles. Is there a way to get Word to recognize different List styles?
Hi, Whenever I am publishing the project in Word doc, images are not getting exported in word doc. I can see only textual content being exported. Need immediate help on this. Options I tried to fix the issue: 1. Enabled Macros in word doc and tried again (Didn't work) 2. Updated patch as suggested on Adobe site (Didn't work)
Hello community,in my word-export the svg graphics are missing. I found this post but that doesn't fix my problem.I created a test project and can reproduce the behavior. SVG graphics are missing, when they are in a table. Because I have some icon-explanation in my help and svg warning symbols, this is really a bad thing. Thank you. PS: I'm using RH 2019 14.0.4 and the latest Word version (2006 (build 13001.20384))

HiI have come across a couple of issues in the Word output:An extra space at the beginning of every page.Lists (ol, ul) not rendering as expected. The list and the content are in two different lines.Empty pagesIs there a way to fix the above or do we need to get it fixed manually in the Word doc?
RoboHelp 2019.0.12 1. Folder 1 and Folder 2 in the TOC of my output both contain the identical topic called "How To."2. "How To" resides in Folder 1 in the project files, but is also TOC'd in Folder 2.3. When I click on "How To" in Folder 2 of the TOC, the TOC placement jumps to Folder 1. How do I keep the users place in the TOC at the topic they clicked (ie., Folder 2)?
HiIs there a way to set the header container as non scrolling in the Topic page. Can this be done in RH or do we need to tweak the CSS?I am using Chrome as the browser and I would like the contents in the body to scroll beneath the header.
In this topic, excluding the mini TOC, there are 3 hyperlinks for "ExportList=" .In the current version of Chrome browser, none of them work. If I check the frame source, the anchor is<h3><a name="MiniTOCBookMark7"></a><a name="ExportList_" id="ExportList_"></a>ExportList=</h3>and hyperlinks that link to it are typically likeSee <span class="Codeinline"><a href="#Exportlist_">ExportList=</a></span> for more info... This follows exactly the same format as other pairs of anchor/hyperlink that DO work correctly, such as <h3><a name="MiniTOCBookMark6"></a><a name="Export_" id="Export_"></a>Export=</h3>andSee the <a href="#Export_"><span class="Codeinline">Export=</span></a> parameter below for info... I'm sure this topic was initially created/edited in an earlier RH version, maybe 11 or 15. I currently use RH2017. Just to try something, I deleted
I am using the Review feature. I can select and send my topics to review. But when I want to access them from the link, nothing is displayed (cf screenshot). I sent them to my colleague and she has the same issue. Can someone help me? Thanks
How to publish robohelp 2017 output on share point 2013 (on premise) setup.
I'm trying to use the chatbot output to see how we can integrate into our online help but I just keep getting "Failed to generate" error
I created two bookmarks in a topic. I followed instructions to create hyperlink to bookmarks but bookmarks do not show up in Insert link. How can I create a link to a bookmark in a topic? Please ignore this post. I finally figured it out!!
Yesterday, I updated RH to the most recent version (which I have done many times over the last few months with no problems). When the update was finished, I opened up RH and immediately noticed that both the Contents and TOC panels were empty. In poking around, it became clear that everything in the Author tab looks like it has been reset to a blank project. Oddly enough, everything under the Output tab is fine.We are using GitHub for version control and have been for nearly a year now. When I opened my local repository in Windows Explorer, all the files are there. It's like RH just isn't seeing them. At first, none of my teammates saw this behavior. However, this morning, one of them did a "pull" from within RH and now she's having the same problem.I have tried rebooting my machine and deleting my local repo and cloning it from the server, but the problem is still persisting. Help?

Using RoboHelp 2019.0.14, building to Responsive HTML. The docs I'm doing are for a programming API and every function for the API has to be in the index. However, a small section of functions are not being listed when the manual is built... Now, in the Index section of RoboHelp, all keywords are there and correctly linked to the relevant pages, but when I build the document for HTML5, this sub-section of pages is not in the index. The index itself probably has 1000+ entries, and the entries that are not being included are the API functions that start with "windows_". Note that there are index entries before and after these ones that do appear fine (for example the entry for API function "while" appears fine, as do the API entries for "xbox_", so I don't think it's related to the number of entries in the index (but I guess it could be, as after searching the community I found a couple of posts from 2017 or thereabouts with a similar issue using Legacy Robohelp, and those were a

I am using Robohelp 2020 and want to output in Responsive HTML5. When setting up the default parameters for this output, I did the following:In the Contents view I cleared Include Index checkbox and in the Glossary field, I have None. However when I generate the help, both the Index and Glossary Icons appear. How can I remove them? It looks so unpolished!
I'm using RoboHelp 2019 and am trying to link a CSV file in my project. I'm working on some online help files for a client and need to include a sample layout of a CSV file since they have to use specific column headings and other formatting. When I publish (Responsive HTML5) and click on my hyperlink the file downloads as an Excel file instead of a CSV and all the formatting is out of whack. I've tried placing the CSV file into the assets folder and linking directly out to that, but when I search for the file in the hyperlink panel/tab it won't display the CSV file. When you select "File type>All files" in the browser, CSV isn't in the list of file types. I have a coworker who was able to do this on a previous project using an older version of RoboHelp 2019, but he doesn't remember exactly what he had to do to get it to work and we've tried everything we can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions outside of using an Excel file and telling them t
Hello,I am trying to upgrade a RoboHelp classic project to RH 2019 with new UI. WebHelp output hangs on "Indexing references" and never completes. I am able to generate WebHelp output in RoboHelp Classic 2019 UI.I saw related posts about this issue here and done the following things to resolve the issue.Used default css from a new project.Set all options under "select files to exclude from search."Changed skin.Still I am not able to generate WebHelp output. There is a suggestion from other post to remove image maps, but I am not sure If I have them in my project or how to remove them. One thing seems to work is - if I Create a new TOC and add only a couple of topics. But as soon as I add all topics, output won't generate.Any suggestions? Thanks.
I have created a Word Template for use when creating word output from RH2019 - New UI. I have tried mapping the styles from my RH project to the styles in the Word Template and I have tried discarding the styles in the RH project but get the same results. I have several issues:The output still uses the same font specified in the RH project rather than picking up the font specified in the template. The headings are the right colour and size but the font is wrong. The bulleted and numbered lists are indented wrong. The second line does not match up to the first line.Where I have a table in a list, the text in the table indents to match the list but the table border does not change The Word template works fine if I use it to create a document in Word.
After I got infinitely recursive folder structure in the output with an upgraded project, I recreated the whole project solely in RH 2019. I had no problem for days, but I did some tweeks and edits to content and now, all of a sudden, I'm getting the issue again. What happens is that a folder is generated in the output called "..." with an infinite set of subfolders also called "..." And when I try to delete the folder structure, Windows gives me an error. What could have caused this and how do I fix it in my project?
