Hi there.Can anyone help me with removing the web address bar from the responsive HTML 5 SSL.On the left is the default HTML 5 and on the right is the Robohelp layout. I need my help file to be a stand alone file as per the Adobe file with no web address bar.Many thanks

RoboHelp 11.0.4.291I have merged 36 projects and 11K plus topics (works like a champ Mr. Grainge, et al - Thank you!).Currently, the customers install the merged projects on their local server. We are going to move the whole kit and caboodle to "the cloud". 1. What are the best practices? - Just publish to the "cloud" server?2. Are all those wh-whatever Javascripts and .htm files in the children really necessary? They are duplicated in very project's folder, can the parent handle it?Thank you.

The dropdown text links in my project only work when viewing the OLH via our application (pressing F1 in the app).If I open the CHM file or double-click the opening HTML file to access the OLH, none of the dropdown text links work. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

I'm new to using the resource manager, so there's a good chance I've done something stupid here... but... I have 2 projects (I am the only tech writer, so running off one PC, no version control). I want to share snippets between the projects, so I'm using the resource manager to keep them synched up. Both are compiled as CHMs.When I search, I'm getting search results that appear to be the snippets in the results. When you double click them, they don't open.Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing.Has anyone else seen this before? I'm using RH10.

I just upgraded to TC Suite 5.Now I'm trying to link FrameMaker files to my RoboHelp project. The FrameMaker files are from a document that was done in Frame 9 (TC Suite 3.5) and now has been converted to Frame 11. It's working fine in Frame 11. No errors when opening any of the files in Frame 11.I created a new project in RH 11 and tried linking the FM files to it. Some work, but some bring on an Out of Memory message. Interestingly, one file that is 68MB worked fine, one file that's only 58MB brings that message.I'm going to try using an Externalize Graphics addon that worked well with the old Frame--I can only hope it works with FM 11 now.Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening, and any solutions besides externalizing the graphics and trying to reduce the file size?Thanks.

Trying to find out if RoboHelp imports Figure Captions along with the images. Right now we are not using RH but will be very soon. The images with accompanying captions are in Word documents that will be used to create on-line help.

I'm using RoboHelp 10 and am trying to get the button in my navigation skin to open a link in a new window.  I researched this extensively and have not been able to get it to work.  Can you please assist?

I currently have two very large user guides. They were created either RoboHelp 7 or earlier and have been upgraded to version 9 and now 11. Is there a maximum number of folders/topics a user guide should contain within RoboHelp? I need to add more and more information in the guide and am concerned the file is becoming too large. I am generating a CHM using RoboHelp 10 on a Windows XP machine.I have a few pop-ups in some topics. These pop-ups contain screen shots. After generating the CHM, when I click the pop-ups to view the screen shots, they are not displayed correctly. That is, half of the image does not appear and there are no horizontal scroll bars either to scroll. This happens for pop-ups that appear on the left side of a topic. The images inside pop-ups that appear to the right side of a topic appear fine when clicked.The help file was originally created using RH 7. I upgraded the source files to RH 10 successfully and there were no errors during the upgradation.I even tried generating the CHM on other systems with RH10 and the same system configuration as mine but ended up with the same results. I assume there is some compatibility issue maybe between RH 7 and RH10.Looking forward to any helpful insights here as this is pretty urgent at the moment for me to resolve the aforementioned issue at the earl

I need to create a context-sensitive WebHelp system for a web application. I have the topics and the map file created, and the developer has coded the call to the help topic as indicated in http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/calling_webhelp/using_map_ids.htm. It works correctly if I double-click the help system's start page to open it, but when it is called from within IE, all pages in the application call the main help topic.The help call in the code appears to be correct, but there is obviously something missing, either on my end (help author) or on his end (developer).I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me.Thanks!P.S., I'm using RoboHelp 9.

Please help me. I have been having terrible experience with Adobe customer/technical support. I might have called about 20 times - they even charged with $40 for the support - still no help. Anyway - Problem is 1. We had a Adobe Robohelp 4. 2. We upgraded that buying Adobe Technical Communication Suite 1.3 3. I installed Adobe Technical Communication Suite 1.3 on a laptop about 3-4 months back. 4. That laptop is completely useless (crashed for some reason). 5. I'm trying to install Adobe Technical Communication Suite 1.3 on another laptop. BUT I did not have Serial Number noted down somewhere. Serial number was not attached to the back of the CD pack. 6. Adobe gave me a new serial number ( they took 7-8 days for that). 7. New serial number does NOT work. 8. They informed me that there is nothing wrong with the serial number. I dont know whats wrong with my laptop (its brand new Vista!) I tried a lot of things that technical support told (like running clean up tools etc). Nothing

I'm using: RoboHelp HTML, Version 10.0.1.292I'm seeing the following message when I make changes within the RoboHelp project and then choose to close my project without saving the changes. It's not consistent behavior - it happens for some help files in the project but not all help files. If I save changes then it doesn't appear.My steps:1 - Open RoboHelp (I'm using RoboHelp 10) and make a simple text change to a help topic.2 - Choose File > Close Project.3 - Click No when the "Save changes to the following files?" confirmation appears.This is when I see the message above. The message is confusing for several reasons: 1) I didn't edit the file outside the project, 2) I'm not sure what changes are being discarded if I click Yes, and 3) what's being loaded when I am closing the project.Full disclosure - The only file I ever edit outside the project is the CSS and I am guilty of editing the CSS with the project open (to instantly see the results of my changes). Is there a way to backtrack a project? I have 3 projects saved but can only find 2 of them. I've been working on this project for 2 days, but it just doesn't appear in the same folder as the other 2.

Hi,I have been facing this issue where the Topic Content Pane (<div>) overlaps the SideBar pane every time I try to open the Browser-Based AirHelp after it has been published on a server.Although, if I view the same locally on my machine, it appears fine.I'm using RoboHelp 10 to create the help and have the context sensitivity enabled for integrating the help with my software application.I have also created the custom window for viewing help.Now, considering the fact, that we are only using and testing our helpfile on the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome browsers with Flash enabled, this problem however, is not consistent. After getting published, on some machines it appears fine on both browsers and on some it only appears fine on any one of the browsers. Hi guys,I'm sorry, I know the problem's been diskussed a lot. But I still have the problem, that after generating my CHM-File the glossary tab is empty. I already tried registering various HHActiveX.dlls i found in robohelps installation directory.I tried registering them by using %windir%\system32\cmd.exe and %windir%\syswow64\cmd.exe.The dlls I tried to register are:C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\RoboHTML\HHActiveX.dllC:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\Redist\HHActiveX.dllC:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 9\Redist\x64\HHActiveX.dllI tried to register them all together and i tried to register only one at a time.The funny thing is, after generating and opening the file directly out of robohelp, the glossary showed up once. After closing and opening the same file, the glossary was again empty.I am using RoboHelp 9 on Windows 8.1. 64-bit.Is there a chance to get that CHM-File to work?Thank's in advance.

Hi. I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8.0.2.208, having recently updated from 5X, generating WebHelp. In a discussion about a year ago (May 2009 - http://forums.adobe.com/message/1924387#1924387) I learned that as of that time there was no option for "turning off" ranked search results.Point #1 - Maybe behind the times to want Search to return a simple, non-ranked alphabetized list, but forum postings make it seem that it is desireable for a number of users to at least have the option. Currently lacking that option (and, yes, possibly for the better), we're fine with bringing our help users up-to-date with ranked search results (generate with the "Show Context in Search Result" not selected).Point #2 - However, at least in our case, the left-hand Rank column of the search results seems more a waste of screen real estate than it is an aid. Hello,I was so excited about the new Captivate 8 responsive projects for developing apps.  I have a Mac and I have Captivate 8.  Here is where I am at...and don't know what to do anymore.  STUCK!  I have all the certificates, the provisioning profiles required by apple.  I developed a "test" app.  When publishing, I signed in with my Adobe phone gap account.  Entered all my iOS information.  But then what?  Do I have to run it through xCode?  When I go in my phone gap account, I can see the app.  How do I package this to send it for approbation?  (I am absolutely NOT very familiar with this kind of development so please excuse my ignorance...

I have Rh 10 installed in my 64-bit machine with Windows 7 OS.The problem is when I click Printed Documentation and click Next in the Printed Documentation screen, Rh crashes.Without clicking Next, if I click Save & Generate, pdf is generated with missing topics.When I check the event log, I see Application Error. What exactly is causing this crash? Please help.

I have both Word 2010 and 2003 installed. Normally I use the 2010 Version and there were no general problems importing from Word into Robohelp 11. However I now used the 2003 version for a brief period and after this no Word import into Robohelp is possible any more. This concerns all documents (also new test documents), both .doc and .docx.When I switch between Word version I get the "Configuring Word.." dialog every time and this process evidently confuses Robohelp's ability to call the correct Word version. I tried all combinations, having Word 2010 or 2003 as my currently configured version and importing both .doc and .docx documents, but nothing works anymore.I have the hope that I can reset Robohelp's Word configuration - is there any solution except for re-installing?Robert
