I have TCS4.I am linking a Framemaker book into Robohelp so everything keeps up-to-date. Mostly, it works fine.But..How do I apply a margin to a table in the CSS so that it stays? I want to put some space between all tables and what is around them (text, other tables, etc.) just to clean things up and make it easier to read. Padding moves the text within a cell. I need to shift the table itself as a unit.I can make the change manually in RH by adjusting the table properties of each table, but with hundreds of tables to setup each time there is an update, it gets terribly time consuming. Table margins seems to be entirely missing from the CSS or Master Page config.Where is it hiding? Can I set a margin for all tables of a type collectively? And have it survive Forced Updates?  I even tried modifying the CSS file directly with mixed results.    margin-top: 10.000px;     and such.Thanks.

I recently upgraded from MS 2003 to MS 2013 (along with moving to Win 7) and found RH9 does not play well, so considering installing MS 2010 instead. Seems there have been issues with MS 2010 also.  So, what works with RH9?

I am attempting to use the PDF review features built into RH9, but everytime I generate the file the topics are out of order. I cannot seem to make any changes with in the project to get the topic in the correct order.I have the file names and topic titles numbered correctly. All topics are included in the TOC correctly. I did try deleting a topic and re-creating it, but that only moved it to the end of the list instead of being correctly placed. All topics to be included are marked Ready for review, and I am filtering on that when creating the PDF.This is a real problem since the reviewers cannot get past the fact that the topics are out of order to actually review the content, not to mention that it makes me look unprofessional -- not being able to provide the topics in the order specified.1. I have a large number of files with a button that launches a script.  Recently, I had to change all of them because window.open no longer worked.  My script now looks like this://<script type="text/javascript">function launchwin() {var SiteName="www.[DIRECTORY]";var TipName="01_Creating_a_Letter/01_Creating_a_Letter"; document.location="http://"+SiteName+"/"+TipName+".htm";}//-->//]]>I'm not showing the directory on a public forum, but the link works if I patch it together manually, and the script works perfectly in other RoboHelp files.In this project, however, it brings up an error message "Unable to set property 'cpEISetValue' of undefined or null reference."  Code 0The error message also gives the URL for the link, which works correctly.If I click "No" to the message about continuing to run scripts, it launches the link.  If I click yes, I'm stuck.I've tried the script in several files in the project, and the same thing happens each time.Has anyone s

Using RH v 10 on win 7. I want the ordered lists in my topic to be left aligned (no indent). I look in my CSS file under OL and set left to 0px. Numbers are still indented. here's the HTML code for OL:<ol style="list-style: decimal;">In the CSS file, there is no style by this name (decimal). where is RH picking up this style?My project is set to use my desired CSS file and i see the correct styles in styles list.I see no style by name of "decimal"Where else should i look? I assume this is a special RH numbering feature.If i simply use <ol> for my tag there is no numbering in design view.

Projects that were published in RoboHelp 9 using WebHelp have not been working properly since upgrading to a 64 bit laptop.  The published project opens fine and the first book will expand but will not collapse.  No other books within the project will expand or collapse.  Any topics not nestles into a book will display properly.  Since then I have upgrade to Technical Communication Suite 4 and am using RoboHelp 10.0.0287 with the same results.  I am using Windows Internet Explorer 8.0.7600.6385.  Projects published in FlashHelp in RoboHelp 9 and 10 have had no issues.  Can you tell me how to resolve the issue?

Share multimedia videos between different projects without including copies of videos in each projectBasically each language translation is a different project but the vidoes to be included are same. Each generated project has copies of these videos. Is there a way to refer to these videos froma  common location but not include copies in each project. Hyperlinks won't work as we need to show thumbnails in the files.

How do you make multiple pivot points on a symbol using the bone tool? I would like make this 4-bar linkage hinge at all the pin joints, including the lower-left one (so it forms a closed loop that can collapse like a parallelogram). I have RH9. I inherited a project. The skin for one module (Radiant) does not match the skins for other modules in the project (Example Hospital Help). I tried to edit the skin, but it made no difference. I then copied the !SkinSubFolder! from Hospital to Radiant. It made no difference.I don't know what to do next to get them to match. Any help is greatly appreciated.Vicki

I have a text document using UNIX style line breaks that I run through a parser to create multiple help topics.These topics display normally (see attached image) when called directly, rather than through WebHelp and when selected from the Contents or Index tabs.  However ,when selected through the search tabs, the LF character seems to be ignored.  Has anyone else seen this?  This feels like a bug.

Until recently, when I wanted to add a topic to a book in the Table of Contents, I just dragged it from the Project Manager into the Table of Contents.  I'm not sure what is different now, but the new topics appear in the Table of Contents pod but not in the generated DHTML.  To make it more confusing, to me anyway, some newly added topics DO show.

I am using RH 10 to generate Eclipse help. After reviewing the discussions re: RH 8 and downloading the .jsx file, I continue to have gobbledygook/wingding display issues. Can anyone help?ThanksSusan

Hi,In Robohelp 9 for word, we are not able to compile the html files from .hpj file if the size exceeds 10 KBs. This is while migrating a winhelp project to .hpj file. Could you please let me know the settings for compiling the html files from an .hpj file.Regards,Akshatha

I am trying to make separate HTML files from FrameMaker 9 documents in RoboHelp 10. In Conversion Settings I have set Split Topics Using Marker to make HTML files using H1. It does not work and creates a file per FrameMaker chapter.I am new to Robohelp 10. Is there a setting I am missing?

In Robohelp10 is there a way to suppress information or a section from a topic?  Or is the option to only suppress the entire topic?  Even though the topic or section is not searchable, can anyone find it?  Another question - could we suppress either a section of a topic or the entire topic by business role or is it an all or nothing type feature?

Output file is SSL and there are no broken links, however when putting it on the web all the hyperlinks are broken.  It's working fine in Firefox! Please help!!  Very new/beginner user here.

How can I insert a link to a YouTube video in a RoboHelp CHM topic or in a WebHelp topic. On YouTube, I can select Share \ Embedded and get this HTML: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hz1egoBSukE?list=PLAAC40DA8171E6038"  frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> But when I generate the project, I get the msg, This program cannot display the webpage.

We are looking at changing our help system and while we like teh sound of Robohelp I can't find any documentation on how to integrate with Progress OpenEdge ABL. If anyone has any infomation it would be a great helpThanksKev

Is it possible to generate output in RoboHelp 9 for just a single selected WebHelp topic instead of the entire project?This is for a project with hundreds of topics, where occasionally I might make a change to only one of them and need to deploy just that one page of output. But I can only generate output for the entire project. The only options I seem to have are:1. Output everything, and ignore or discard everything apart from the one htm page I want2. As well as editing the source of the topic, also edit a copy of the previous output.I'm assuming the answer is "no", having looked quite hard, but I thought it worth asking. Fortunately, it's not something I need to do very often - our agile methodology means I'm usually deploying an entire project very regularly.ThanksNick Shears
