Substance 3D Designer

How can we get the latest release of Substance Automation Toolkit(SAT)? Our previous Substance Automation Toolkit is not compatible with the new version of Substance Designer. And in this page(Substance Automation Toolkit Update Compatibility ... - Adobe Community - 13921767 ), I found that the new automation toolkit is updated, but we cannot find it in our plan.  If it is going to be deprecated, is there an official subsitution for SAT? Hi Im having an issue where the shape splatter doesnt seem to be producing very random positioning of the shapes no matter how settings i seem to use.  Would anybody know what i might be doing wrong?    no matter what settings i use, i also seem to get the circles aligning with each other like this, where id like them to be totally random.  Its maybe more noticable with a semi circle.  That gird of 4 arent random and rotate all in unison.  Its like ive got some kind of tiling going on, but cant see any settings that would cause that

Hi, does anyone know why Height to Normals node creates thin outline around the edges? This is an issue for me cos then they create thin bump lines in areas where these normal maps meat. Here's the zoomed in example: The heightmap I'm using is a 16bit single-channel grayscale map and it doesn't have any edges along its edges at all. Here's that same area in the heightmap:(P.S. Of course I have TiIling turned off for all of my nodes.) Is there any workaround for this? Thanks!  

Is it known  thing and I can't do anything except turning the mask into square first?

The project I am working on requires me to bake the high-poly mesh onto a flat low-poly cube. The low-poly cube is unwrapped and layed-out (4k map, 512 packing res, 16 pixels shell & tile padding). However, I am left with jagged edges and a white contour after baking in substance. The defect can be seen in the picture attached. How may I fix this? Any help would be appreciated  🙏  

I've used the SAT in the past, but went to install it recently and I'm getting this page instead of the download page Did Adobe stop supporting SAT when they bought Allegorithmic? If so that's highly disappointing.

Hello, I'm trying to use the spline mapper grayscale node.  When I connect a grayscale node to the Color Map Input, nothing happens.  I've confirmed that the Spline Mapper Color node seems to work correctly when I use a color map.

Hi, we are recently starting to explore Substance designer for our company and we would like to know if you can license or lock the sbsars that you create. For instance we want to provide our clients custom sbsar's that we create for them but we want to prevent the client from reselling or distributing it to others. Is this possible? Kind regards, Wilbert van den Broek

I am a newbie in substance designer, so bear with me...  What I mean is, if I used a tile node and used a shape as the input, in the shapes properties, there are parameters whose valuesI would like to be random for each of its instance as the input in a tile. Is that possible?

Hey guys please help, does anyone know why my Grayscale single-channel 16bit heightmap looks banded (has stepping) effect when I convert it to Normals in Substance Desginer?original heightmap doesn't seem to have this stepping (at least visually) (edited)  

Created this pattern and trying to mask certain shapes  so i can color them. Included some images to explain what i mean.Is there way to this?

I'm inputting a height and mask source into two different Directional Warps with the same intensity and Intensity Input; however, the sources aren't displaced the same. The Intensity Input is a horizontal random grayscale. I've seen tutorials using the same method but they don't have the same issue. Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated!

HiIve very much starting on my substance designer journey and just trying to overlay some shapes. Currently im trying to get this hexagonal shape to sit above the stripes beneath it, but currently its height is stepping, id like to get it to be all of an equal height.  Ive played with the blend modes but none seem to give me the effect im after.   (in painter id select the 'replace' mode on the height layer) Would anybody be able to help? many thanks

I have uninstalled, restored, reloaded, installed pervious versions, everything. I cannot for the life of me get this file to repopulated on my PC. Without it I cannot adjust or move the lighting in my 3D View and my real-time rendering looks flat and ugly. This is not only an issue on my work PC, it will not generate this file on my personally PC either.

Hi all, In researching this product I see that it's mostly used for games and film. I am looking to see if substance can approxomate something like sketchup and 3D rendering/photoshop. My goal is to see if I can create environments and input items like art, mirrors etc. to scale. I do a lot of photoshop work for an interior design business. While I am able to get them effective visuals with photoshop, a common complaint is that we have to 'guess' the correct scale of the items relative to what's in the space. This isn't good for the finished product because if we sell a client on placing something and it doesn't fit correctly to scale in person that creates an issue. Does anyone know if substance 3D or any similar adobe program might satisfy this need? If so how easy is it to learn. Most of my background is in illustrator, photoshop and 2D rendering. I can get a general sense of how to input the measurements based on inches. Or should I just learn sketcup? I'm a lit
