Hello there, I am using Version 1.15.0 right now.I have trouble starting Substance 3D Modeler in VR Mode, the refresh symbol doesn't even show and it tells me it doesnt recognize VR. I use the Pico 4 with Virtual Desktop and up until a few days ago it worked without problems. Since then I had a few errors which made me reinstall Modeler and update Virtual Desktop both on the Pico and on my PC. I feel like it has to do with steam VR not starting when i start Adobe Substance 3D Modeler like it used to before, but when i run Steam VR i only get to the Home Screen from that application. Starting Modeler when Steam VR is already running also doesn't work. In VD I tried setting OpenXR Runtime to both SteamVR and VDXR, but it didn't fix the issue. When I import a custom mesh as a stamp the resolutuion is really low compared to the source mesh. Is there a way to increase the resolution given to the stamp when you import it? I tried scaling up the source mesh and import it again, but that did not help.
So I had a couple of questions regarding modeler that I reached out to the substance team with on X. they directed me to their discord page. after searching for answers in discord all I found was other users asking the same questions and going un answered. I headed back to x and messaged the dimensions team again letting them know my results from the discord server and asked if there was a pdf manual I could download so I could learn the ins and outs of modeler for myself, they read the message and didn't respond. I then tried 1 more and sent them another message which they have read and not responded to. so I've made my way here and I'm seeing the same situation. I understand their support team not having the time to answer every users questions but do they even weigh in on the discord or their own website? I've seen questions in the discord server that are 2 years old go un answered. Call me crazy but shouldn't there be a level of after sales s
Installed successfully but when tried to start app it gives me error message "doesn't work with your internal Intel GPU" please use external one 😞I dont have external GPU card :((BTW Blender, Maya, 3DS and other software that I have tried all manage to use internal GPU and work just fine! Please make Modeler work with internal Intels GPUs!!!!!
I'm currently using 1.11.50 version of Modeler public beta. And was expecting to see 1.12.50 version as it was released recently, but instead Modeler disappeared from Beta section completely. I can't longer even launch it from Creative Cloud, only from desktop shortcut. Is this some issue with my Creative Cloud app or public beta is no longer available?I can open beta apps, but modeller is missing in the list
For anybody who missed it, I just wanted to point out the film we recently published focusing on the work of sculptor Romain Van den Bogaert. Romain’s background is in (conventional) sculpting; he came to 3D, and to Substance, relatively late. In July we published the film Izakaya’s Paradigm, discussing how he combines real-life and 3D sculpture to model a scene (and then moves through into Painter and Stager for texturing / rendering). Really an excellent film. I’ll link to Chapter 2, focusing on Romain’s use of Modeler, here (because I personally find it endlessly fascinating to see how a ‘real-world’ sculptor has brought 3D into his work), but you can find all 4 chapters of the 16-minute film on our Behance and YouTube pages.
I've just subscribed to the Substance suite, primarily to create custom 3D shapes. I have Designer, Painter, Stager and Sampler but 3D Modeller is not anywhere to be seen. Have I missed something?
I have been trying the successive updates to 3D modeler since the first public beta and none of them work on my workstation. The app starts, shows a blank screen (see attached screenshot) then quits without further notice. My current workstation is AMD Ryzen based, are there known limitations towards that?

When I'm pinning screen inside VR, I can see my controllers and model I'm working on affecting this sreen. It is either visible as gray shadows over the screen or it makes screen transparent in places where it appears. And this effect is only visible to the left eye which makes it completely unusable App version: 1.11.50 public betaVR: Oculus QuestOS: Windows 11
I was quite shocked, when I heard that Adobe dimension will no longer be updated. I love this simple way of bringing 2D packaging design on simple 3D models to life and present them sometimes via AR (Adobe Aero) to my customers. And all this included in my monthly Adobe CC Graphic Design package.The monthly 3D package (Adobe Substance) would cost me an extra 50 € per month without having the possibility of modeling my own 3D models so far?!So, I would apreciate to hear from you, whether you plan a mac-based Substance 3D Modeler in the near future or not? And if it will still be possible to use Adobe Dimension with my Adobe Graphic package.According to that, I was really disappointed to hear/see that Adobe Photoshop will quit all 3D content creation in the future. Good morning! Get this error message with the newest Modeler Update 1.11.0, Modeler quits when hitting OK on this error message.Version 1.10.0 worked without this error. Already tried to uninstall and reinstall, no improvement. Please help. Thanks in advanceThomas

The original filling mode is indispensable. The improved version is not as good.
Hey, everybody. I’m quickly jumping in to give a shout-out to the June 2024 release of Substance 3D Modeler. What does this release bring? We've added a scene outliner for better organization, an export tab with more control, and the ability to set subdivision levels when importing 3D models. In all, this gives you the ability to manage scenes, export with precision, and enjoy smoother models. Also, a quick reminder that the Modeler public beta is COMPLETELY FREE (seriously, you don’t even need a Creative Cloud subscription). How do you download the public beta of Modeler? I'm just trying out Modeler for the first time and I immediately noticed was there is a large amount of lag/delay from when I move my head to when the world responds to that movement, making the app almost unusable due to the motion sickness it causes, this is in a brand new project. I get the same behavior in both the beta and an older version (I don't remember which). I have not experienced anything like this in other apps and games. I'm running a Valve Index through SteamVR. I uploaded a video of what it looks like. Hi, I have an Intel ARC A770 16GB graphics card, I just purchased the Adobe 3D suite. Unfortunately the main Subastance Modeler 3D software does not start and generates this error. I am aware that the Fill Mode and Flatten Mode may appear interchangeable at first glance, but in reality, they serve vital purposes, particularly the Fill Mode, which is indispensable in numerous instances too many to enumerate. The current implementation of the Smoothing Tool is akin to a handicapped version, rendering several techniques unusable, such as the typical drafting method reminiscent of a 3D printing pen. In summary, I earnestly request modifications to the current Smoothing Tool, with at least the restoration of the Fill Mode being a priority.
