Hi there, I am pretty new to 3D and I usually create my models in Blender and import them into 3D Stager to create a scene. I have created a bottle model in Blender (using a simple cylinder) in which I'd like to add the labels to and create a scene for, however, when I generate the UVs via 3D stager, I get these weird distortions, seamlines and angles that make it impossible to add artwork to. I attempted not to generate the UVs in 3D Stager and just exported the UVs that I guess Blender had created, and it certainly looks more normal and correct on the surface, however, I get these weird lines (which Ig I could erase) and it seems that the file is stretched vertically. I added a perfectly square shape on the UV so you can see the stretch. So I'm not sure what to do here because as an amateur modeling this bottle took me a bit and I didn't really do anything weird other than giving the cylinder some bevel in Blender. If anyone knows how to generate
Hi community, since Stager update to 2.1 on Windows 10, we are facing load problem with files we worked on before. On opening some ssg-files they load up to 100% and then screen freezes before showing the content.Stager does not react on anything any more, no close possible. App must be cancelled by windows task manager. Crash report was sent to Adobe. This only happens to some files, other files are loading normal. What is to do, any recommendations here?Thank you for help.Hans PS: right now I tried to import issue file, but problem resists.Windows task manager screenshot image
Adobe Substance 3D Stager trava na tela inicial "carregando arquivo" e não inicializa, alguém já teve esse problema?
Recently updated to Stager 3.0.2 and I can't render anymore.I set stager to use high performance for the graphic card in the system settings. My system is compatible according to the log.I use win10 (latest update) 1080ti (updated)I read in some forums that others had the same issue and reverted back to older version of Stager.I still want to know if there is a better solution. When I render, it starts rendering and then crashes with this error:"Unable to start the rendering engine..."
Hi everyone, I am currently rendering a prop for my portfolio and using Stager for the first time. It's great! But I cannot for the life of me figure out if it's even possible to display a mesh wireframe. This would be a great feature to have for portfolios 🙂
For the Perspective Grid, it would be exceptionally helpful to be able to visualize specific sized objects over a coordinated Grid system on the UI floor. For instance, if I were to use 3D Stager to design the foundation for a series of five (5) 16 foot by 24 foot building structures (log cabins?) - with all 5 separated by 8 feet , it would be amazingly helpful to be able to set the Perspective Grid to display a primary grid line at every 8 feet, and then to display a secondary grid line at every 4 foot interval. Again, this would make visualizing multiple, similar objects on the Perspective Grid MUCH easier to process.
Since previous version, Adobe Substance Stager can't render materials lik Lace with opacity channel.Adobe Dimension hasn't problem with the same material.I create a .sbsar lace material and it works well in Dimension and it doesn't in Stager.See the screenshot comparison and the material (Pizzo AI.sbsar) to test here attacched.I use a Mac Book Pro M1 Max with Mac Os Ventura.Anyone can suggest how to fix it?Thank in advance for your help.
Can you please add freeform mode to adobe stager camera animation?
I opened an assembly created in steps, it is very slow because it is made up of many solids. How can I optimize stager speed?
I work for an engineering firm and must generate models with accurately sized decals. For example, when I create a model 11 inches long, I might need to put a label on it measuring 1 inch deep. I create the label in Illustrator to scale, but when it's brought into Stager there's no correlation between the Illustrator scales and Stager's. Furthermore, if I try to put the same decal on different elements in a scene each instance is a different size. How do I control decal sizes in Stager?
I come from a CAD background and just recently foudn the need to render our products at photorealism. I don't know about the rest of you but we CAD users can't live without our Space Mouses. That omission in this product is really, really annoying. Is there any support for them in the development horizon?
Substance 3D Stager material i directly downloaded from Creative could desktop from the stock and market place, and they used to show up in the material panel, but suddenly they disappeared from the Substance 3D Stager material panel. any idea why. as you can see in the images i use to have this material in the panel but not any more. please help.
Hi, I need some help with workflow and physical lighting.I'm using Stager to recreate an existing real-world retail shop front and I am trying to replicate the lighting as it is in the photographs I've been supplied. The end goal is to have a shop front window template that I can use show different advertising displays to my client. I have about 16 physical spot lights in my scene. Adjusting them one by one, then rendering a scene to see what they look like is time consuming - is there a faster way to do this? Or better way of working?I can't adjust multiple lights when I have them all selected..I cant copy values for one light and apply them to the rest..What are some workflow steps I can take to match the lighting to my source photos faster and more accurately? I feel like im blindly increasing and decreasing exposure, intensity, emitter radius, outer angle and falloff and because there are so many lights it is taking me a long time. Am I making my scene too complicate
Hi team,Im doing work on pillar candles. I downloaded the pillar candle asset from the assest library. I apply an image to wrap around the candle, and there is always a slight line cutting through the graphic. I thought this was maybe a viewpoint percentage problem so I adjust from say 78.9% to 80% to round it up (which doesn't save in the file btw), to no avail.I render Ultra / Real time. Its also in the design view. Its always at the exact same spot no matter what I try. Is it a problem with the assest perhaps or something to do with the wrapping engine, or maybe my graphics card. Images below. You can see a slight black line down the candle. Thanks team. Windows 11 / Stager 2.1.4
Substance 3D Stager has GPU rendering for Windows only, on supported NVIDIA cards. If the GPU rendering option is disabled while you are on a supported card, there are two things you can do: Update your video card drivers If you're on a laptop that also includes an integrated card use the NVIDIA control panel application to set Stager to prefer your dedicated GPU instead of the integrated card.
The page for Stager mentions Monterey being optimal but oddly doesn't mention Sonoma. Just trying to confirm that Stager (and all of the Substance aps) will run on on Sonoma? Thanks.
I don’t want to go too far off-subject in a non-Painter forum, but this news is a biggie for us: we’ve just launched a major new release of Substance 3D Painter, including a bunch of new features! Head over to our post on the Painter forum to learn more.
Hi everyone Any news / rumors on when Adobe Stager 2024 software will be launched as its typically around this time. Will the software be on Steam for download (perteculual licence) or purely on Adobe subscription? Thanks,
Hi there, I'm pretty new at 3D Stager and I'm trying to essentially build a mockup for a glass product sitting against a very light gray background (I'm using the plane for this) casting a hard shadow on it using a spotlight physical light. Something like this photo below. The problem that I am running into is with the physical light, the background color changes to white, and sort of makes it uneven like a gradient. I have been instructed to keep the background a specific flat solid light gray background so I'm wondering how I could achieve this without having to change the intensity of the lights or changing the material colors etc. One way that "almost" works is using emission on the background and setting my desired color, however, that still won't get me a solid background as the physical light affects it. So I'm wondering if there is any way to tell an object in this case the plane to ignore lights? so the light gray no longer turns into white? even if that was pos
Having issues with ray tracing and normal/height maps! I need the raytracing to render out my hair cards and other opacity working objs but when it comes to the main head, it looks as though the normal map isnt even applied. Here's the two different ones , ray tracing, blocky, real time, correct normals. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this so it looks like the bottom one with Ray Tracing on? It seems to just acknowledge the low poly surface and not apply the normal map even though there is one. Textures come straight from painter, here it is in the viewport there: Thank you!
Why can't i get any depth/height from any of my materials in stager? I've tried exporting from sampler and that doesn't work and when i do try the diplacement feature, its all distorted.
Does anyone has problems when exporting as GLB from stager ? When I finish a design an I try to import it as GLB to import it on AE, it looks different. I don't know if I did something wrong, I reached adobe support costumer service 3 days ago and I haven't received a reply yet.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if something just got turned off accidentally, but I'm completely new to Stager and I'm trying desperately to use it for my final which it's required for. Earlier today I opened up my working file to find that all my objects that I had been putting material and graphics on had gone completely black, like the lights had been turned off. I checked the lights in the panel and all of them were still turned on and no matter how I adjusted them it made no difference. I even tried adding more lights it made no difference. I checked to see if the graphics were still showing up in the materials of each object and they were. I haven't changed the location of any of my files or renamed any of them, so I'm very confused. The objects were ones I created in Illustrator and imported into Stager. I tested to see if any of the preset objects that are available in Stager would work and they showed up just fine. Feeling ho
Hi community, since I got a high resolution monitor I can hardly read the menu and elements in stager.I coud not find any place where to switch to larger font in stager, no hint in documentation or elsewhere on Adobe.Does anyone hav same problem, please help.Thank you Hans
Saying what I think might not just be on my mind, but other users' as well. Trying Stager out because I wanted faster, easier renders of objects for illustration support. Keyshot is brilliant, but a bit expensive, and Maya (my 3D software of choice) just isn't quite as easy/fast to set up and render for all I need. So my experience so far, anyone else having these problems? It took four installs to get Stager to work (running it on an Alienware so not really short on horsepower). It loads and works without stalling and freezing maybe once out of every ten times, including a couple fo computer restarts. Works nicely when it does, renders beautifully and quickly, but why can't I just change the pivot for an object so it's not an akward dance of rotate then push-pull, repeat, to position something? My best tip so far: start the task manager before you start Stager so you can kill it early instead of wasting time waiting for it to not fully load a file.
