Dimension

I have a Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017 with Radeon Pro 570 4 GB.Would connecting a more powerful external GPU to my iMac help make Dimension work faster?Which one would you recommend?

I’ve never worked with Dimension before, but my files are .obj files from Tinkercad. Neither of my files will upload.

I opened a project I created in a previous version of Adobe Dimensions, and the app warned me about new features and format changes in version 4, including a new render engine. After adding new decals (with the same resolution I used before), I noticed the render looked pixelated. I then re-imported higher-resolution decals (around 6000 px wide), but the issue persisted — the render was still pixelated.I searched online and found that this seems to be a known issue with Adobe Substance (apparently fixed as of Oct 2025), but it’s still happening in Adobe Dimensions v4.1.5. I had no choice but to reinstall version 3.4 (Intel Mac) and redo the project there, where the decals render correctly. Is anyone else experiencing this decal pixelation issue in Dimensions v4?And does anyone know if there’s a fix or timeline for resolving it?

Nothing to add. Just the questions above.

My adobe dimension could nt open after dark screen then i close it and reopen again then cant open already.Someone can help me please~

I purchased this Premium Adobe Stock 3D model that says “This 3D Model is optimized for Adobe Dimension.”When I try to drop the model / OBJ file into Dimension, it says “Unable to Import Model”. Dimension is updated and other 3D models are opening fine.

Hello everyone!  Adobe Dimension 4.0 is now available for download from Creative Cloud!   Adobe Dimension 4.0 is being updated to incorporate some of the same underlying code components as Adobe Substance 3D Stager, particularly in areas like rendering, lighting, and material handling. This update puts Dimension on a more modern and maintainable codebase, ensuring the application is more stable and secure for users. Consequently, users will see some changes in the software – most notably in rendering capabilities and material workflow, as well as minor functionality and quality improvements throughout the application.   Here is an FAQ with more details on the changes: https://helpx.adobe.com/dimension/whats-new.htmlThe Adobe Dimension and Substance 3D Stager comparison FAQ page has also been updated:https://www.substance3d.com/dimension-stager-faq/

Out of nowhere Dimenions is giving me an 'Unable to import model' error for any OBJ I attempt to import. Inititally I was thinking it was an issue with a new model I downloaded, but I'm receiving the same error with all OBJ files I've previously imported into Dimensions. I've tried a fresh install, as well as previous versions. Not sure what to do next. System:Windows 10 Pro Ver 21H2AMD Ryzen 7 3700X32BG RAMGeForce GTX 1660 Ti

Is there any timeline on when/if Adobe will release a natively optimized version of Dimension for Apple silcon chips? It's currently running via Rosetta 2 and will only do full high quality ray traced renders on the CPU, not taking advantage of the GPU or ray tracing via the nueral engine. Signifcantly increasing my render time. Currently trying to run it on my M4 Max Mac Studio

Very basic user here, where is the Project materials panel that I’m reading about? Like here: https://helpx.adobe.com/dimension/interface/project-materials-panel.html?x-product=Helpx%2F1.0.0&x-product-location=Search%3AForums%3Alink%2F3.8.1

My file is not opening. I only have an import saved from last week but that does not have my progress from today.

ich kann das Dimensin-File nicht sichern. Ich kriege einen riesigen Log, doch den kann ich hier nicht rauuladen.

The pop-up when I open the document!

Working in V 4.1.8 and today all of my studio lighting options are missing.  when I choose the lighting icon I get “no results found”.  Any ideas what is happening and how I get the studio lighting assets back? thanks.

I had been working on a project containing quite a bit of objects within it, and when i try to open the file it gets stuck in loading and has no progress. The program becomes unresponsive and i have to force it to close. I have seen someone else post about it but there wasnt a solution, response or explination in response to their issue. Been having a lot of issues with this program for some time, and it doesnt seem like the updates fix any of the existing problems that keep arising.

Hi, all. I am hoping you can help me fix this dieline size discrepency.  The .dxf dielines that I use are created in Inventor by an Engineer (not myself). When I open that .dxf dieline in Adobe Illustrator, it measures 300 mm width x 600 mm height and has a corner radius of 3mm. The dieline is .709 pt. The stroke is aligned to the center. But, when I copy and paste that same dieline and/or place it into my Indesign file, the dimensions change. The dimensions in InDesign are larger—the dieline measures 300.25 mm width x 600.25 mm height with a corner radius of 4.233 mm. If I align the stroke to the inside, the dimensions change back to 300 mm x 600 mm (which is correct), but the corner radius stays the same, 4.233 mm. I need the corners to be 3 mm.  How do I fix this? I am hoping to create a workflow that is uncomplicated, and doesn’t require many steps. I have thousands of graphics that have this issue. The dimensions of my Indesign file should match the .dxf dieline. I’ve attached scr

A Dimesions file I recently worked on will not open. I get an error saying Unable to Open Document. I’ve also tried importing the file as a 3D object, but still not working.

When I place an image on a glass surface, I notice altered colors. Everything worked perfectly in the old Dimension. Am I doing something wrong? the image is a grayscale PNG and I use the latest version of Dimension.

I have a 3D model, it was working with Dimension but now it is not. I get an information: Unable to Import Model

Is it possible to create something a see through packaging like this in Illustrator, export to dimension and add a flour texture inside it?

Even the Newest Version of Dimension, I Still Can NOT open previous .DN files. It just sits there. If I create New, and attempt to import, still sits at 90% frozen and never imports.I use Dimension all the time, always have…I always have to revert back to 3.4.11, which works incredibly to this day! Will we ever get to open old (years worth) of files we created prior to the updates? Request for all: What about focusing on a specific function that addresses the conversion of previous versions of Dimension, with an auto-convert to newest .DN format/file - when you attempt to open a .DN file or import one. Just like Microsoft Excel, for example or Word. When you open old .doc or .xls - step #1, it’s smart enough to prompt the update to “newest format” (.docx/xlsx) and BAM! It works. The updater/converter will simply strip all cameras out, and simplify layers, etc.Prior attempts:If I got lucky, a file might open for a sec, and I also see 60+ cameras (when there’s only 1or2). But, this really

I'm trying to place an image on multiple objects in Adobe Dimension. Is this possible? I've attached an image. I imported the object as the whole door, but the image only wants to wrap around an individual piece of it. Any suggestions would help. Thank you!
