Combine files - not working properly

Community Beginner ,

Anyone else having trouble with the Combine Files in Adobe Acrobat? For quite a while it has been an issue with dragging files into the box. While the dragging worked perfectly; the "Combine" button was inactive. Only be using the Adding files-button it helped.

But now I cant even add files with the Add-button. I click and click - no reaction whatsoever!

I am on Mac, OS Tahoe, all Adobe updated. No issues otherwise.

@Tim388097729sta Are you using the 'new' Acrobat interface or the 'old' Acrobat interface? I switched back to the 'old' classic (View - Disable new Acrobat). If by chance you are already in the classic interface and the Combine tool is still broken, you may have corrupted preference files left over from the buggy new interface transition. Try resetting your Acrobat preferences. Quit Acrobat. Go to ~/Library/Preferences and delete the folder that starts with com.adobe.Acrobat... I know from a couple of years ago, I had some issues with Adobe in general, and I do this whenever my MacBook acts up, and I manually delete my Preferences. It always feels I get a faster and cleaner mac!
