I just read a long post complaining of there being no way to do this. Please please please tell me the problem has been solved now! I'm not asking to be told a combination of keystrokes, but a button that users can see.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
The Page Navigation toolbar includes the Up and Down arrows to navigate through the pages. You can also type a page number in the interactive text box to go directly to that page (https://adobe.ly/4hNzsh8). Screenshot attached for reference.

I agree. There used to be such a button, but it has disappeared on the latest version of Acrobat. It makes life very difficult, partiularly if you use a link to return from the destination page to the origin page. I have found that cmd + left or right arrow does the job, but were has the button gone, which was far more efficient?

So there is no "previous view" button any longer? If so, that was a stupid change.

And it gets worse: the first page and last page buttons have also disappeared in the new interface.
I hope the egghead who came up with this will suffer the torments of hell until the end of eternity.

Hi PeytonT,
I have also been frustrated and annoyed by the lack of a 'back butteon' ('Previous View' as it is called by Adobe).
Here is a link to the solution, scroll down and you will see the very helpful screenshots:
