I have purchased an ebook saved in Documents-My Digital Editions. I can read the book in Adobe Digital Editions but I do not like the scrolling function and I would thus would like to read the book in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. However, the latter will not open the file. I get the message that something went wrong and that protection plug programme that is needed for this commando is not installed. Have the latest version of both programmes. Could anyone help? Thank you in advance!
Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is in ePub format and does not allow a save to PDF. Some vendors allow you to purchase one or the other or both, but you will not be able to convert this file if it has digital rights management.
Adobe Digital Editions is specifically designed for protected files and to prevent any other app from opening them. If Reader could open the files, there would be no need for Digital Editions.
