Apple Pencil Lag

There is major lag all of a sudden when using my Apple Pencil on documents. Please help! I rely on this adobe acrobat reader for reading and studying chemistry. Apple Pencil works great with other apps; I am guessing the new update is what caused an issue. Is anyone else having this issue?
