i'm facing an issue in sign and fill when i try to write in arabic as shown in the attached screenshot
the letters are separed indivdually it has to be connected.
my version is 2020.012.20043
Adobe Fill and Sign doesn't support the Arabic language fully yet, we have requested the Acrobat team to fix this bug as shown here.
I believe the issue is fixable if the Acrobat development team would look at this test I made… Type Arabic in Fill & Sign, the letters are incorrectly disjointed, exit Fill & Sign environment, choose to Edit the PDF, and add any character to the sentence I typed in Fill & Sign, even when adding a simple space, you will see the characters joins normally as they shou

Has there been any update regarding this? If not, can you recommend any other software because I have a need to fill in some urgent forms in Arabic and cannot find a single PDF filler software that supports Arabic texts with no issues.

Marhaba Rita. I can see Adobe started to fix some Arabic support issues with Acrobat on Android platform, so I'm pretty sure they're finally looking at those pending issues we've reported long ago.
I was assured that there is no "Cough cough racism cough cough" in this delay 🙂, nevertheless, it is bad for Adobe and bad for us customers to wait so long and are still waiting for a fix.

I signed up to this site to provide a workaround that may save time for others.
Open your PDF with firefox and edit it, arabic words will be displayed fine even after you save it and re-open it with acrobat reader

Just tested your suggestion. Whatever I typed on the PDF using Firefox, appeared as comments in the PDF later when opened in Acrobat. Although it is nice to see such suggestions, however, the original question was about the "Fill & Sign" feature which allows the user to fillup forms, insert text anywhere, and sign on the document, these shouldn't appear as comments.
I appreciate if you can elaborate further on your suggestion if I missed something in your idea.

You are right, they appear as comment but it is enough for me.

In that case, you can use Acrobat to place comments in Arabic language, this commenting option has no issues with Arabic.

Dear Zaid, I went through many Q&A about Adobe "Fill & Sign" failing in Arabic language. However, you always answer people instead of Adobe representatives. Inadvertedly, you are blocking the issue from reaching Adobe staff. Please do not respond and let Adobe official representatives deal with the question, so they can report it back. Hopefully this will make the issue get noticed.
Many thanks,,

Good day, the whole purpose of this community forums is for Adobe users to assist each other. We "Community Experts" have a duty to actively jump in to provide answers wherever we can, and this is a commitment agreed between Adobe and us Community Experts.
I assure you that many Adobe staff are checking our answers and are answering directly here too, it doesn't matter whether we Community Experts were involved in answering a post or not.
With regards to the Fill & Sign in Acrobat, I join your voice as well as other users in requesting Acrobat development team to fix this issue which was reported by hundreds of users. I talked to quite few Adobe staff in different departments including the localization team, and Acrobat programmers/developers, they are all aware about this matter and I personally have submitted my findings in details to them in a face-to-face, or online meetings. I have linked in my answer above to the Bug report page which again hundreds of Arab users have voted on the issue we raised since year 2017 and yet, we didn't get a fix from Adobe which is a shame really.
I join you and other users in raising this matter yet again to the concerned team at Adobe to address this bug and I don't see what could be the reason for such delay!

Thanks Zaid, I have spent thousands with adobe and I am tired of waiting for their fix. They are no longer a monopoly and there are so many products for less money that provide that basic feature.

The whole purpose of this forum is to help users, I or any other person can jump-in to assist in providing a solution or answer, there is no such thing as I'm blocking Adobe staff or any other Community Expret for that matter since the post is still open for the public and Adobe staff, by the way I'm not the one who marked my answer as correct!
