Can't link OneDrive to Adobe Acrobat mobile on Android

Hi,
I want to link my OneDrive to Adobe Acrobat on Android but it gives this message: Failed to link OneDrive, please contact IT admin for consent.
I don't think I have a problem with my account because I can connect the same OneDrive account to Acrobat Reader on Windows and it works properply.
I hope you can help me find a solution.

This solution is not working for me. When I try to grant permissions, it just thinks for a long time and nothing happens. I once let it think for a few hours. I tried different browsers, tried incognito, tried mobile and desktop, even tried waiting a week and tried again. No luck yet!
Please help!
Sorry for the trouble.
Have you tried allowing the permissions from the below link:
This should redirect you to allow sign-in using Acrobat Reader Mobile. You should generally see the page as shown in the below screenshot.
Once here, log in using the admin credentials, provide the necessary approval, and then check if you can log in.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Souvik.

It's really quite unthinkable that we have Adobe enterprise licenses and can't find a way to link OneDrive to Adobe Reader. We've spent hours trying. We've been online to Adobe support who took us through a lengthy explanation about what is supported and what is not. Reader is no longer supported, but our enterprise has Pro licenses which are supported. But Acrobat (Reader) is only supported through community but that's what we need to access OneDrive. Long and short, Adobe doesn't seem to be able to support OneDrive integration for Android devices. Am I right? Is there an alternative for managing PDF documents on Android devices? Thanks in advance.

@JTai17 Sorry to hear that.
Would you mind sharing the exact scenario of what happens when you try to link OneDrive to Acrobat Reader Mobile?
This will help us speed up the process of getting the issue fixed.

Hi Souvik,
Thanks for your reponse. I got it working after trying the same step several times and it suddenly worked after the third attempt. My problem is now that the PDF documents on the Android device are not syncing to between Adroid and Mac laptop, but this is a separate problem. For the original problem, the steps I took was:
1) Open Acrobat (Pro) on the Mac lap top
2) Navigate to the Home tab on Acrobat
3) Choose Add File storage
4) Select OneDrive from the options (and follow instructions to finish adding OneDrive)
On the android device (Samsung Galaxy Fold 3):
1) Open Adobe Acrobat
2) Select the Files icon
3) Select OneDrive option from the list
4) Follow instructions to finish adding OneDrive
The error message in the first few attempts was something like "Failed to Connect to OneDrive. Check with your company Admin". Then after several attempts, it just worked. As mentioned, however, now the Adobe document edited on the Android device isn't getting updated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Souvik,
Thanks for your response. Actually the application is a little bit 'buggy', but I found a workaround to make it sync.
In the Adobe application on the Android device make sure you press the back button on the upper left screen of the application instead of the usual back button to exit the application. In other words, press the Adobe application back button instead of the device back button. Then wait for between 1-3 minutes. You will see a message that says "Sucessfully Saved [document name] to OneDrive". If you don't perform these steps the Android application will save its own copy of the document, which will not be in sync with the desktop version. This tells me there's no way / option to Save the document on the Android device, apart from hitting the back button and you have to hit the correct back button (app not device back button to ensure the document is correctly saved). Hope this helps and feel free to use my registered email for any communication. Thank you!

Hi @JTai17 , came to this forum looking for a solution and wanted to thank you for your post, this step actually works. For everybody to know, what you have to do is once you get the sync error message, yo go back using the back button on the app (on your left up corner) instead of the back button on the phone. Once I pressed the back button it was syncing with onedrive. How impressive Acrobat hasnt come up with this solution after all this time.

Just wanted to say that following steps 1-4 above added it on the PC but didnt on its own resolve the Samsung Phone issue but then signing out of and deleting the Adobe App from my phone and reinstalling and trying to connect OneDrive again, it worked immediately. This has been bugging me for more than a year- so happy to finally have it work!

Having the same problem, attempted to follow this process. After password input it then throws up another error that it failed to connect as no active call. Can you help?

Sorry for your experience.
With the error message you mentioned, your OneDrive account seems to be having issues responding to the edit calls from Acrobat.
Can you try removing the account from Acrobat and then adding it back?
You can go to the files Tab-> Click on Edit-> then remove OneDrive and add it back.
Hope this helps.
