It's possible it changed as some point. If you agreed to a subscription and gave your credit card information before starting the trial period, then it's not surprising you'd be charged afterwards if you don't cancel it.

Generally speaking, a subscription can be cancelled here: Cancel your membership or subscription | Adobe Acrobat, Document Cloud PDF services

There's no need to cancel anything. When the trial ends it will just stop working, I believe.

This is incorrect. I signed up for the 7-day free trial of Acrobat pro DC and gave my credit card info. When signing up for the trial it told me the date I had to cancel by or I would be charged $14.99 monthly. Now I cannot find the place to cancel.

Cancel Acrobat Pro DC Trial. I believe they start charging when trial ends.

No, when the trial finishes you just can't use the application any more.

If you give a credit card it is never a FREE Trial 'only'! Essentially, you can use all the features for stated 'trial period'  BEFORE it becomes an automatic monthly subscription. Here - you have 14 days to cancel for full refund.

I have been trying to cancel my free trial plan for two days. It says

We’ve received payment for your new plan. You’ll be able to manage this plan shortly.

But it's not changed in days. The trial is only for a week, I think.
