When I have the pdf files open and I want to convert it to Word it tells me I have a free year of converting files to either word or excel. How do I go about using this? My log in is right. So do I go to my account or what? I shouldn't have give a credit card number if I am paid up.

Hi Old Dusty0725,

No worries! There are so many options when when it comes to Acrobat.com. Pat and Test Screen Name are correct: Adobe doesn't offer free trials of the Acrobat.com online services (but does offer a free 30-day trial of Acrobat).

The portion of Acrobat.com that is free, is the online storage (and it's always free!).

Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Best,

Sara

Thank you all for your response. I was wrong in assuming it was for exporting files to word or excel. It's only for pdf and not exporting. My error. I'm an old lady learning the computer on my own. Thanks again.

If you mean the basic Adobe Reader program, it is completely free (not only for one year).

You can get it at http://get.adobe.com/reader/ (make sure you uncheck any "optional offers" you don't want).

To understand the issue, please let us know how you came by the year free - if you have an email you can copy/paste the text, but remove personal info. If you see it on a web page, you can post the URL. If you see it on screen and can't copy/paste you can do a screen shot - please ask if you don't know how.

I have never seen any one year or even on month free trial for Acrobat.com services like ExportPDF.

Do you get this when opening a PDF in Adobe Reader?  Can you provide a screenshot: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933
