Hi there,
I can't seem to import anything into aero, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't with most pics and stuff but Import function in general doesn't work and i can not force the program to display any of my 3d assets, no matter how little and optimized they are. It starts loading with "optimizing import" and never finishes. I already reinstalled, tried different version, tried on mobile version, deleted app data info, NOTHING seems to work, any idea???
Have a great day,
Flora

Hi @péterk15717593(Flora), thanks for the report. We do have a bug right now where is there are any spaces in your file path, it may cause import errors i.e. c:/My Files/3dmodel.glb. can you check if you have any spaces in your folder names? If not, please let me know what hardware you are using, your OS, and the Aero version(Aero->About Aero for the main menu) Thanks!

Thank you markhellar, it didn't solve my problem, a great point tho. After a radical reduction of polycount, I managed to preview my model (only on iPad, not the desktop app) but i don't understand why as older models that worked just fine were much bigger in poly and in texture size as well. At last i rendered my model and added it to aero as a 2d animation which works fine and looks decent for this project, however I would be very interested to learn why this problem occurred and how to sort it the next time. (FYI: Everything above worked only when dragging the asset to the scene, the import button doesn't work for me at all.)

Thanks, is itis only 3D assets or all assets if its' the former what type of files are they i.e., .obj, glb, etc.. and what software did you use to make them or where did you get them i.e., sketch fab? What size are they? This will help me investigate. Also, feel free to PM me a shared link to a sample asset, and I will investigate.

Hi Mark,
I was wondering if this issue has been solved. I am currently experiencing the same problem, whenever I try to import assets, it fails. The error messages writes : "Failed to import (filepath). Reason=RT3D Import failed".
I did remove any spaces that could have appeared in the filepath, but it did not work. I am working on a WIndows 11 environment, Aero versio 0.23.4 (#125). The file size should not be a problem since I am using images files. I need to use .png files for transparency, but i did try with a .jpg version and it's still not working.

Hey, just wondering did you drag files to desktop or remain in downloads. I thought they were same but for my one, only things in downloads can put knto aero. I try multiple times and this way works.

I am working on a mac with 14.1. I have got the same problem. I tried to make this tutorial: "Importing Character Animations" a offical adobe tutorial and downloaded the associated files. Same error when I try to apply a animation to a character.
Failed to import /Dance_Anims_FBX.fbx. Reason: RT3D Import failed

Hello, I was having the same problem and apparently it was because I was placing special characters in the name of my file, since I was putting an accent on a word, removing it solved the problem, greetings
