CC Libraries Loading Super Slow

Just in the last few days my CC Libraries are loading really slowly and sometimes they never load. I've done all the troubleshooting on this page and NOTHING HAS WORKED!

All my apps are up to date. I'm on Mac OS 13.7.4.

The fix for this bug has been rolled out as part of Creative Cloud Library Synchronizer Version 4.9.20.
The version for this component can be checked via Creative Cloud > About Creative CloudScreenshot 2025-03-25 at 4.17.42 PM.png

Hi all,

 

I want to start off by apologizing for the inconvinience this has caused many of you. The team has been actively working to resolve this issue asap and has identified a fix to the bug. 

 

We plan to roll this fix out in a release to ensure that everyone can use their libraries again. 

I will share an update in this thread once the fix is rolled out.

Wanted to share an update with you all with a better line of sight on when this fix will be available.

 

Our team has begun to roll out the fix to the process issue causing the Libraries experience to feel slow. We will ensure the roll out is seamless by slowly expanding the audience over the next few weeks. Once it is fully rolled out to all users, I will share an update here with everyone!

And while Adobe are 'fixing' this, can they PLEASE bring back the drag & drop feature for loading in photoshop? Who the bloody hell decided that wasn't needed??

I have the same issue, the assets in the library are taking forever to load, and often an "infinity loop". Especially shared libraries with other users. Both Inddesign and Illustrator. Slowes down my workflow. Hope an fix is coming soon?!

 

M1 Max, 32 GB

I chatted with their support yesterday, and they told me it was my computer processor and it couldn't handle it.  The support rep said it wasn't a bug.

That's ridiculous! I literally got a brand new laptop yesterday and it's still slow! If IO can run AI and AE, plus Teams, Excel, and Chrome all at once... surely it's not a processor issue.

you just need to clear the cache to cc services . Had same issue, our internal IT team fixed this in like 3 mins

@Paul22519508f4zv Not being dismissive at all. The part about it not working for everyone and the fact that Adobe know what the issue is and are working on a fix tells us it's not as simple as you claim. If it worked for you, great.

I'm also curious how you cleared the CC cache? All instructions I've found are only for the individual programs, and sadly only an admin can do it on my machine. I'd like to make sure IT know what to do.

Same issue here in Italy, for me and some of my colleagues, since a couple of weeks (or maybe some more...)

I can confirm the same for me, Windows 10 & 11 same issue, sounds like it's being sorted, but still brutally slow at the moment, we wait for the update, just like the library loading.

I read all of the comments on this page while my library was loading and it's still not loaded. I'm hoping for a fix soon becuase this has been so frustrating (version 4.10.73).
