Thanks for your patience. Just to confirm, you're trying to edit the background of a template, correct? Please let us know if you're using an Android or iOS device. Did you try restarting the device to check if that helps?

Adobe Express never needed to become Photoshop, let Ali e the new GUI tha6 seems like Canva.
Adobe had created the ideal platform for putting together creative assets QUICKLY. I think leaving the GUI the same, but adding features to the GUI as template would have been fine. But losing access to thousands of files set me back months in my workflow, and now starting new projects takes 15 extra steps compared to Express 1.0
Could old Express benefit from new features? Sure. I just think th old GUI would be amazing to have back. It was intuitive and streamlined, and qver quick. For those of us that have been Adobe customers for many years, myself using the software since 1996; I would love for Adobe to allow us to have the old interface at least, and make backwards-compatible file usage possible at the very least.

It's not that it just sucks big time but some useful functions are moved to the paid subscription. I guess some yahoo in the executive suite decided "we need more money, screw the user...".
What the yahoo didn't consider is that there are many alternatives to Adobe Express. Sad...bacause I really liked it. GIMP and Canvas seem like good alternatives.

You encourage folks to waste hours of time & energy on projects that used to take half the time to complete. How anyone thought these so-called updates are user-friendly apparently have zero functioning brain cells. This has made work immensely difficult, super frustrating and I'm unsure why any changes were made in the first place.

I wish they would let us use the old version. I use to Adobe Expeess daily for my work and it's horrible now, I am so disappointed.

The new version of Adobe Express is pretty much unusable. Safari on Mac (because FF is not supported for some reason).
Most of the time people in my ord can't get the main page to load. The same thing happens when trying to open a project, any kind of project. Usually what we get is the spinner of death.
When I finally do get a project open, a simple 5 layer vector file - none of the objects are selectable - despite being unlocked.
Changes to Brands are nice, however, it's hard to be able to apply brands now that the "new" Express is so laggy.
BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. At least it was usable. Limited, but usable.

I have never been more stressed, annoyed and frankly dissapointed in adobe. The adobe express "schedule" is absolutely pointless. I've created posts and they revert either back to draft or are completely gone from the scheduling. What's the point? What's the actual freaking point? I've wasted hours of my time.

I completely agree. Maybe Adobe should have mentioned there was no way to create a photo collage like in Adobe Spark or earlier versions of Adobe Express. I'm so mad I spent hours trying to figure out how to create a collage like before. I am bald now, I used to have a full head of hair!

I never thought Adobe could release something so bad. It should be rolled back. It certainly isnt worth the fee we are paying, to lose basic brand features is appauling, not to mention the reduced file upload speed.

When this update dropped there was so much content no longer available, I decided to cancel my premium membership. I did realize that the free version had a much smaller amount of space on the cloud. Many of my projects were automatically saved. I never choose to save them. So I get the message I need to make room in storage if I want to use adobe express. The only way to do this is 1 file at a time??? seriously. So I make a new account because I just need a background removed, I go through the motions and have to clean up the edit a bit with the erase function when I go to save I am told using erase is a premium function. You can remove the background but if the AI does a lousy job I have to pay to fix it. I will find some other option. Someone else who wants my hard earned money.

Projects load infinitely, I can not migrate files (they are then empty), the automatic save does not work (loads infinitely) and even in the mobile version I now have problems (can no longer open projects).
Migration error keeps showing up in red.
What is going on?
Since the migration really nothing really works (since WEEKS now), unless I work completely on mobile version.
I have already tried all browsers, that can not be the reason.

This "new" system is so cumbersome. How do I mute the sound on a video so I can do a voice over? This shouldn't be hard.

I totally agree! This new version of Adobe Express is terrible and useless. What is the point if we can do nothing with it? I have been waiting for an hour for the page to "Getting everything ready." I am going to ask my organization to find us an alternative software. This one is just a wait of time. There is no reason we should pay for the service.
