Multiple USB Mics Playback Problem

New Here ,
Dec 04, 2019 Dec 04, 2019

Hello,

I want to start thanking this incredible community. I've been reading some posts, and it's incredible how helpful everybody is. If you need more information about the specifications, please don't hesitate to ask me.

Challenge:

I created an aggregate device on my MacOS with three microphones. Audition recognize the mics and record without issues on the multitrack interface. However, when I playback the audio, it seems that the recording is muted and unmuted throughout the entire play. I tested the mics individually. This playback problem occurs with all the microphones. It's strange because I can see the audio wave alterations where the play is "muted." So I exported the whole multitrack session to play it on another player, but the problem remains.

Setup:

PC: 15-inch MacBook Pro
2.2GHz 6-core 8th-generation Intel Core i7
Radeon Pro 555X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory
16GB 2400MHz DDR4 memory
512GB SSD storage

MacOS: Catalina

Audition CC 2019

USB C Hub: TOTU 8-In-1 Type C Hub with Ethernet Port, 4K USB C to HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, 1 USB 2.0 Port

Mics:

Blue Yeti (USB)

Blue Yeti Pro (USB)

H4N (USB connected to the Mac)

Thank you!

M

P.S. I know that recording with USB mics isn't an attractive option, but I am trying to create an affordable podcast setup without an audio interface or/and XLR mics.

If you open up and replay just one file in Waveform view, does it sound okay all the way through?
