am I able to re-download captivate 9 as I upgraded to 10 without realising that all projects would save to 10. I have a client who still has 9 and I need to keep the projects at 9

Run Captivate 9 and 10 concurrently

    Hi Lawrie,

    You may download and install the Adobe Captivate 9 using the below link :

    https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/kb/captivate-downloads.html 

    You can install it on the same machine on which you already have Adobe Captivate 2017 (Adobe Captivate 10) as well. But you will not be able to open the projects in Captivate 9 which you have already upgraded to Captivate 2017.

    If you want to use both the version at the same time on same computer then you will have to be a bit cautious as once the projects will be upgraded/ saved in Captivate 2017 you will not be able to open them in the Captivate 9. So its better to open the version of Captivate before and then open the projects instead of just click on the .cptx file to open the project.

    Are you talking about a perpetual license that was upgraded? Or is this a subscription license?
