What is the latest version of flash player that a macbook air with intel core 2 duo 1.4 supports?

The problem is that I could not update for the version 12 and decided to uninstall what I had running in my machine. Now I can't install it anymore! I checked the requirements and then thought that it was my problem... what shoud I do?
