Fresco keeps crashing recently during use

Dear community,

maybe you can help.

I have encountered several crashes of Fresco recently.

Maybe there is a correlation with an Update of my WIndows 11, I installed a few days ago.

 

The last time my Fresco kept crashing, it helped to update some graphic drives manually.

As a pity, I don´t know anymore where to look for these drivers.

 

I am working on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 with an Intel processor i7, 10th generation. and 16 GB RAM.

    Hello @DeinJobCoach,

    I understand how frustrating it can be to experience crashes in Fresco, especially in the middle of work. Would you mind sharing more details, like the exact version of Fresco/OS installed and if Fresco behaves this way when working with a particular tool/effect/feature?

    Also, try performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Fresco (https://adobe.ly/3BitZz0) and share your observations.

    Hi Anubhav,

    THanks for getting back to me so quickly.

    My Fresco Version is 5.5.5 and I am working on Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2

    Intel i7 processor 10th generation
    FResco maskes the crushes when I am simply using some brushes.

    About reinstallation of GPU drivers. I am still hesitating to do that, as I don´t have much understanding of IT and I don´t want to ruin my Laptop.

    The Link about high performance leads to a side about AMD processors....I don´t quite understand.

    Sorry, that I am a difficult client....

    I would like to ad, that Fresco doesn´t crash on regular intervalls. I worked a bit this morning and there was no crash.
