Unsupported video driver error

All of my drivers are up to date, but I still get the folowing error when starting Adobe Illustrator/ Premiere/ AE/ etc.

 

 

When I click fix, I'm advised to update my drivers, but like I said all of my drivers are updated to the latest version:

 

Please help

 

PS I also have Gforce 1050 graphics card, which also runs the latest drivers.

Thank you for reaching out.
If you're getting this error with Nvidia graphics card. Please check out the latest version of the driver on https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us & see if you have any new version available.

If you do not see any update released within a year, then NVIDIA probably has discontinued releasing updates to your driver which is a bit old and either you can update the card or switch off this reporting via preferences.
Edit > preferences > General > Show system compatibility check.

 

Similarly, people getting Intel driver notification should check the updates on https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics

 

If you find that that driver is latest, but Illustrator is still showing it as incompatible, then most probably it is an old graphic card. You can continue to use your old card as you have been using earlier. Suppress the check via preferences as mentioned above. But it is recommended to work on a later graphics card.

The “Unsupported Video Driver” error message suggests that your current graphics driver is not compatible with Premiere Pro. An outdated or faulty video driver could cause this problem. Or, in some cases, Premiere Pro fails to recognize your driver which is actually functional, and thus triggers the error.

I am also having the same issues and cannot even see a jpeg or png when it opens.  Just a gray screen view.  Has anyone had any luck in solving?

helloes,

having the same problem, incompatible drivers, after update to 25.2 and onwards Illustrator is slow, doesn't work well, hangs and seldomly crashes. Reverting to 25.1 solves all the problems.

 

Fun fact (25.1):

 

Also worth noticing that lenovo won't update drivers every month like nvidia does and using non-vendor ones causes all sort of problems.

 

Also also don't you think that CC being used in corporate environments shouldn't cry at me when my drivers are not even a year old and card has enough juice to do much more complicated operations than Illustrator preview?

Hi,

 

I have got the same problem here. I have Windows 10 and my drivers are updated. I have Intel (R) UHD 360 and my computer has the driver updated to its latest version. Any help is highly appreciated.

Can you please attach the "System Compatibility Report" file. You can generate it by clicking the "Export Report..." button on the dialog.

I'm experiencing the same issue as my graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, but I can't find the update version of it as I can't find the same product in the drop down list. Maybe the 1660 Ti or 1650?

hi, after updating illustrator to version 25.2, an error appears about an unsupported driver. The drivers were updated from the official nvidia website. The problem appears on the GT440 GT710 video adapters

I have a Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 16GB and graphic card NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M .

There is no way to update the video card (it is already 4 years old), the way is going to be to replace the card? It seems a little too much ...

I haven't tested everything, ... but I believe that some resources are not accessible ... as it happens in Premiere, for example.

Hi, 

Has anyone had issues recently, 3/10/21, with Illustrator not opening? It's giving me this error message, "compatibility report: Video Intel HD Graphics 620, unsupported video Driver. "

I've done a ton of computer updates on my Lenovo Yoga Windows 10 i7 laptop. But it still won't open. 

Any ideas?!

Ive got exactly the same problem, with the same driver (but I'm on an HP). Everything is updated, and I can't find a way to get around it. It also completely stalls Illustrator so I have to go into task manager to close the window.

I'd roll back to the last version, but my computer was on auto-delete when updating.

The bottom line is that I couldn't find a driver for "version 100.8476 or later" on the official Intel website, a driver that is compatible with the specified computer.
We did find a certain driver, but we were unable to install it on our computer. We recently installed a different driver, as recommended by Intel technical support.

Через программу Adobe Creative Cloud была установлена пользователями самая последняя (новая) версия программы Adobe Illustrator. Версия программы Adobe Illustrator: 25.2 (64-bit).

 

При открытии компьютерной программы возникает следующее сообщение:

«Adobe Illustrator.

Отчет о совместимости систем.

Видео Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600

Неподдерживаемый видеодрайвер.

Кнопка: «Исправление».

Если вы продолжите работу при выявленных неполадках, возможны снижение производительности, нестабильность, потеря данных».

Кнопка: «Экспорт отчета».

Прилагаю скриншот.

При этом в Диспетчере устройств Windows 10 нашего компьютера сказано, что задействованы два драйвера:

ГРАФИКА

- Intel® HD графика 4600

- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti.

 

В файле при экспорте отчета даются следующие рекомендации:

 

«Компоненты системы:

Операционная система    Windows в.10.0.19042.1

Суть в том, что на официальном сайте Intel я не нашел драйвера для видеокарты «версии 100.8476 или более поздней», такого, который был бы совместим с обозначенным компьютером.

Определенный драйвер мы все-таки нашли, но не смогли его установить на наш компьютер. Недавно нами был установлен другой драйвер, согласно рекомендациям технической поддержки Intel.

I have the newest driver on a GeForce GTX 960 card.  Since the last Adobe update, I keep getting errors when I open AI and PS.  This card has been updated as recently as last month (2021).  My drivers are up to date.  

Why has the most recent update caused this error?  Any workaround other than just ignoring it?

Sorry to hear about your experience. Please make sure your Intel driver is updated to the latest version. If it already is & you're still getting this dialog box. Please share the compatibility report with us using Export Report option available. We'll review it & get back to you.

In the meantime, you may disable "Show System Compatibility Report" option under Preferences > General. Looking forward to your response.
