How to create an half circle with rounded corners?

Hi everbody,

I need to create a shape like this below :

i tried different ways but i didn't reach the goal 😞

someone can explain me how to?

You may need to select to show

in

View > Show Corner Widget

Some older versions of Illustrator don't have Corner Widget feature

You don't mention what version you are using in your main text, but your tag says CC2017, so this will be easy.

Create a circle using the ellipse tool, and then delete one point to make a half-circle.

Path > Join will close the circle.

Then Option-drag on one Live Corner to adjust both at once.

Hi,

I know this way but i dont want use it. Because if i rounded semicircle's corner, when i resizes the object, it become misshape. I want to round semicircle's corner with a circle grid. But can't intersect the circle's edges with semicircle's flat edge and semicircle's round edge perfectly at the same time. I can intersect the circle's edge with eighter the flat edge or round edge.
