Is anyone experiencing download issues currently? The process begins to download and then arrives at a point about a quarter way of the downloads then seems to start freezing up. If I go individually through each picture it allows for the download but as a group I'm having issues. Anyone know what it is causing it?

Thanks again!  We were able to reproduce the problem with images from your specific camera.  Other raw images did not have the same issue.

I converted this from a regular post to a bug for tracking.  Setting this to "Acknowledged" while we wait for Dev's investigation

Did you made the export on a collection which was available offline? (Or you were sure all images were downloaded already?).

AI masks on the pictures?

I've had this bug only once, I've been trying quite a few things to replicate to provide more info, but I can't figure out how to get it again.

Same issue over here, really annoying: using "Export as", it starts rendering, it sometimes throws a warning (and then restarts rendering), sometimes it closes the app completly.

I think it has something tondo with the ammount of photos selected for export (batches of 20 photos are not a problem, 140 photos at once are very painfull).

I use Lightroom on an iPad Pro M2.

I’ve encountered significant performance issues using Lightroom on my iPad Pro (M4, 11") when working with 60MP DNG files from my Leica M11.

To maintain a reasonable editing workflow, I’ve resorted to pausing sync before downloading images from my SD card. This allows me to complete edits without extreme delays. However, once images are synced, editing slows down drastically—functions often become unresponsive, and in many cases, the app stalls entirely.

As a temporary workaround, I’ve started restarting Lightroom every time I need to edit a synced image. This means restarting the app for every single image, which is incredibly frustrating.

Thanks to a suggestion in this support thread, I’ve learned I can batch save images to my device as JPEGs, but only after performing a full restart on the iPad.

These issues only began after a recent update about a month ago. Previously, I had no trouble editing these files, even at their large size.

As a daily user of Lightroom, this has significantly impacted my workflow, forcing me to consider alternative solutions. I implore Adobe to address this issue promptly—this is not sustainable for professionals who rely on your software.

Thank you for your attention.

I have the same issue on iPad Pro M1 and M4:

images are DNG files from Leica M10, M10 Monochrome, and Q.

Ever since Lightroom uses the terminology "rendering" when exporting images it's been super slow. Exporting 50 images now takes 15 minutes. If it finishes at all, often it gets stuck on any random number of image no matter how long you wait.

So 2 complaints:

its completely broken and often doesn't export at all.

its incredibly slow every since Lightroom uses the term "rendering, this may take a while".

Its absolutely shameful to release software this buggy to paying customers. Its barely usable right now.

Open a ticket with Adobe by chatting to them. They'll call you eventually and I feel like many people doing this is the only way to put enough pressure on them to fix it. I currently have a ticket open which they're investigating but it's taking them a long time to get back to me. They did acknowledge the issue though

Is there an ETA for the Update that fixes this issues.  My daily workflow has now increased by an extra 30-60 min daily this is not sustainable for much longer before I have to find more reliable software.

It's already more than a month that I cannot export pictures when I select multiple pictures I want to export in a group, there's always one pictures that freezes during the download process.
this is very annoying and I lose a lot of time now because I have to export them one by one, this was already posted by some other people here and in the subreddit. I have this problem on both the lightroom IPhone  and IPad app, current version 10.0.2 but the bug is still here after 2 updates I did in the meantime.

This problem has now persisted over two months. When will the fix be deployed. Is this a signal to professional photographers using high megapixel cameras cannot rely on the mobile version of Light Room?

Very long time user of adobe photo products.  I tried switching to LR-mobile a year ago, due to dismall performance from Adobe's Windows-based options.  I am unable to export more than 3-4 photos at a time from the app.  The export dialog sits at "this may take a while".  I've let it sit for hours, just to see, with no progress.  This is killing my workflow.

I've tried this on my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max), iPad Pro 11 (2021), iPad Pro 12.9 (2021), and iPad Pro 12.9 (2022), with the exact same results.  All with the latest versions of the LR-mobile app (at the time).  Updates have not changed the behavior.  Upon researching the issue, I see that I'm not alone.  Current LR version is 10.0.2 340050/173, but the issue has persisted through multiple versions.  IOS versions have been various versions of 17 and 18, including the most recent updates,

Reproducing the problem:  Select multiple photos in the LR app, choose export.  Behavior happens every time more than 3-4 photos are selected for export, regardless of export settings, format, etc...

Expected result: select photos in LR app, tap export, adjust export settings, the export progress box appears and shows the export progress. The app should export all selected photos without further user intervention.

Actual result:  select photos in LR app, tap export, adjust export settings, then the export progress box appears and shows "this may take a while", and the progress indicator never moves, regardless of how long it's left to "process".

Current solution:  Export photos in groups of 2-4.  This works with a 90% success rate, but simply isn't feasible for larger workloads.

Troubleshooting steps:

Tried various image formats (RAW, HEIC, JPG)

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps

Tried turning cloud sync on and off

Tried with and without network/internet access

I have plenty of device space

Tried on a brand-new device with no other apps

Has anyone found a fix for this?  I may have to go back to LR/CR on my PC, but that's also an infuriating prospect, due to how slow it all runs.

Thank you

I have downloaded the latest version which has just been released. Unbelievably it has made the situation worse. Previously I could download original to for editing by restarting the App or resetting my iPad now no matter what I do I cannot edit and download an image uploaded yesterday. So I don't what you think you've resolved because it aappears to have made the problem worse. This now becoming a joke and I am concerned I am have lost access to the thousands of images I have uploaded to you cloud service.

whilst simply updating the app doesn't seem to resolve the download problems in fact it made it worse. I deleted the app from my iPad and reinstalled it fresh from the App Store and at this stage it looks like it's resolved issue. I will keep testing

I am using Lightroom on my IPad to edit photos whilst away on a trip. Once edited I bulk export the images and want to 'Add to Shared Album'. I have been away for a few months and this has been working fine until recently. Now when I go to export the photos, the 'Add to Shared Album' option is there but when I tap it nothing happens. I can export two photos to the shared album at a time but no more? Super frustrating.

@will_8094 I just attempted to add five images to an iOS shared library based on what you illustrated in your screen recording and it worked fine. Can you confirm which version of iPadOS and Lightroom Mobile you're using?

I also see your screen dim a bit when tapping on the share item. I know it sounds obvious, but have you tried rebooting and also deleting/reinstalling Lightroom?
