Hi,
The new Lightroom CC storage plan includes 1 TB of storage for $9.99/mo (or $19.99 when paired with Photoshop in the Photography plan). As a full Creative Cloud subscriber, will my storage increase to 1 TB or am I stuck with 100 GB? If I want to upgrade the storage for an additional fee, is this possible?
I realize the product just launched but there is a lack of clarity on the website about how these updates affect existing subscribers...
Thanks.
I have the option to switch plans and increase storage under my full creative cloud account... If i go to switch plans, click the little right arrow, this is what I see

I'm having the same problem -- followed the instruction to switch my plan to 1TB 1 day ago, but even after signing out of Creative Cloud and signing back in, my storage is still showing as 20GB (which is the amount I had with my original plan). How to I access the extra storage I subscribed to?

I have the "Creative Cloud Photo" plan with 20Gb. I would like to upgrade to 1Tb for the advertised ~$15/month prize. In my country, served by "Digital River", I can not change my plan on line. However, the support did not hear anything about this offer. What are my possibilities?

As I've said, I can not "Manage Plan" on line, since in Israel I am
serviced by the "Digital River". Manage Plan tell me to contact support and
they do not know anything about the discounted rate for the existing
subscribers - they ofer me to cancel my current plan and purchase a new one
for $19.95/month.

Hi there,
I am still waiting for your reply. It seems something is wrong with ADOBE
service. The bad new are that you are the 6'th person I am communicating
with, the good - you are the first one who promised to help...
Best regards, Yair

Hi Rick,
As I've said a week ago - the good news - you are the first ADOBE person
to promise help.
The bad - you probably can not...
I feel sorry for ADOBE - such nice programs, so lousy service!
Already downloaded GIMP , but still waiting...

Hi Yair,
It's not that I can't help but more that it's going to take some time. Your issue has been escalated and people are working on it as we speak (type).
I will not forget about you and appreciate how frustrating this must be but hang in there and we'll find a solution.
Cheers,
Rick

Hi Rick,
Thanks!
Just a wild thought...while the great ADOBE is trying to solve its own
bureaucratic problems, maybe they can extend for me (*temporary, free until
the problems are solved *) the cloud space to 1Tb, so I can try the new
Lightroom CC. Maybe I won't like it, and that will solve the problems...

Rick and Support Team:
I've had similar, but different issues that I hope you can help with. I've upgraded (against my better judgment) to the 1TB CC Full plan. Lightroom CC sees (reports) that I have the 1TB plan, and am only using 113GB. PLENTY of room. Syncing appears to start, but isn't really, and throws up an error banner that indicates I don't have enough storage. This is confusing... as I've purchased the storage, haven't used much at all, and can't use it.
Help.
Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,
It may be referring to your local disk storage. Even though its uploading your photos to the cloud it needs a temporary storage place while that happens. That storage place is your local drive. You need to make sure you have enough extra space on your drive to accomplish this. When the images are done syncing you get your space back depending on the preference set in LrCC preferences > Local Storage > Target Available Disk Space Usage. The slider lets you pick how much space you want to use on your local disk. I set mine to zero because they are already in the cloud.
You can also keep a copy of your originals on a separate hard drive.
Here is some further reading on the subject: Insufficient disk space

Hi Rick,
It's a long time since I've heard from you and I understand that ADOBE can
not stand by its advertisement, which is sad and (probably) against the
laws.
I am seriously considering my options. Hope to hear from you soon.

It looks to me like you can change your plan to full creative cloud plus 1tb storage for 59.99, but its kind of confusing. Under the change plan option you have to click the little right arrow to see all the options

It seems that this option only allows you to upgrade storage for the limited 'CC Photography Plan' which only has Lightroom CC/classic and Photoshop. It looks like you have the full CC membership (including all apps), which currently is only limited to 100GB of storage. I had a long chat with Adobe support on this and they told me that they have basically ran out of storage! They hope to have more available in a week or so, at which time the rest of us (who happen to be on the more expensive full packages) can upgrade.
Im disappointed in Adobe for not putting the customers who pay for the full CC membership first in line for additional cloud storage.
Clip from the support chat below:
Me: so when will i be able to purchase 1TB?
Deepak: we do not have the exact date when these offering will be available
Deepak: but I would request you to expect it in a week time
Me: it seems pointless that Adobe released Lightroom CC without the storage availability for CC users to use the program - just some feedback
Me: So in a week or so i will be able to buy the 1TB package
Me: ?
Deepak: no we had ample of space, which has been bough so quickly
Deepak: we were not expecting the unexpected response
Deepak: yes it will be available sooner
Me: it seems if i was new to lightroom CC, i would have been able to buy the 1TB, but as a loyal CC customer i am put to the back of the line
Me: its not exactly good customer service
Me: hopefully this will be resolved soon
Deepak: sure, Nadia !
Deepak: we are sorry for the inconvenience, it will indeed be ready as soon as possible
Me: I appreciate your help
Deepak: and I can understand your concern
Deepak: I appreciate your understanding and patience too
Deepak: You are going to receive a customer satisfaction survey. I would appreciate it if you fill it out. Thank you, goodbye!
Me: I actually used to work for a storage company that supplies storage to Adobe, I will be sure to let them know the troubles you are having. thanks for your help

Do you have the option to switch to another plan? And do you have the left/right arrows to scroll through the options? I didn't notice the arrows at first and got confused.

Yes, I can select between several different plans, none of which have more than 100GB. Will just wait for Adobe's servers to propagate.
