I've encountered a bug in Lightroom Web: I am unable to reorder the photos of an album which sort order ("Sort by") has been set to "Custom Order".
Information:
- OS: Windows 11 Profesionnal - 25H2 - 26200.6899
- Web browsers: tested on the latest versions (including in incognito mode) of both :
- Chrome: 142.0.7444.135
- Edge: 142.0.3595.69
Reproduction steps:
1. Create an album with some photos
2. Set sort order to "Custom Order"
3. Try to drag-and-drop some photos (a single one or several selected ones) to reorder them → nothing happens
Expected result:
A marker appears where you drag the selected photos, allowing you to drop them and reordering them.
Workaround:
Photos can be reordered in the Mobile app:
The new order appears in the Web app after refreshing:
However, this is not satisfactory as it is impossible to drag-and-drop several photos at once, which makes reordering big albums extremely time consuming.
