The program starts with an error message and then shuts down.

Well, I got the error with an I7, 16GB memory.
Maybe it's something else ... GPU ?  I'm using a NVidia Geforce GTX980
It's guessing, I'm affraid. Only the software developpers know what is different between the versions.

Hard to say, on my laptop 16 GB and i7 without graphics card the 25.09 update works very well.

@SergioAnddrade sim mas o engraçado é que aparentemente eles estão meio que coloando restrição em processadores mais antigos... Assim como outros app da adobe, ou seja seremos obrigadoa a atualizar o hardware para poder usar.

Eles não estão agindo de forma honesta neste caso. Porque aqui no meu Creative Cloud diz ele funcionar no meu sistema. Então eles deveriam avisar que não é compativel e indicar a partir de qual placa e processador isso deveria funcionar.
Aguardemos uma posição

Troquei minha placa de vídeo há pouco tempo, mas os processadores são i5 , não tão novos, mas com muito bom funcionamento

@SergioAnddrade Sim... mas eles podem alegar que o "BETA" é pra isso.. que o que nós pagamos é  o photoshop oficial e esse sim está funcionando normalmente... mas vamos ver tomara que arrumem

I have the same problem.
At first it worked very well and two days later it stoped working, so it's not a compatibility issue.
I hope they fix it very soon 'cause I was loving the new generative fill.

Stesso problema con il nuovo aggiormanento Beta  versione 25.9. L'applicazione non si apre e mi da codice errore  (0x0000142) . Sono tornato alla versione 25.8.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Die neue Photoshop Beta-Version 25.9 öffnet sich nicht über Lightroom und auch nicht, wenn ich sie direkt öffnen will. Nach Installation der vorherigen Versione 25.8 funktioniert es wieder.

I have the exact same issue. I had ver 25.9 installed and it worked fine for several days, even generating images. Used it in the morning and later the same day it refuses to open.

I am having the same issue running the latest Photoshop Beta as of May 3,2024 version 25.9.

CPU is Intel i7-3770k which supports SSE 2-4.2. Graphics GForce  GTX 1660 Ti

This isn't correct. Many user are working with Photoshop Beta without bigger issues. It is in the nature of things that error messages and problems can occur with beta versions. That's what the beta phase of the corresponding programs is for.

Here you'll find the recent system requirements for Photoshop: Photoshop system requirements (adobe.com)

Once again: As I say before without any informations about your system we and Adobe can't say anything.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.
