Everytime i run camera raw filter i get the error "GPU Acceleration Required". The GPU is supported, ive tried turning off the GPU options and turning them back on. Ive gone into the files and tried deleting the settings folder and the GPU folder, there was no GPU folder in there to begin with so im not sure if thats part of the issue, and with the deleting of the settings folder nothing changed. Ive also tried going onto multiple different photos to see if it was a bug with the one however its a universal problem across the whole app. Ive tried opening .CR2 (raw) files too which always directly open only in CameraRaw filter and to which it game the same message. This feature was working fine literally 2 or 3 days ago and all of a sudden its bugging out and not letting me use it. Im on photoshop version 26.5 (the latest one) and macos sequoia (15.4.1).
GPU Compatibility: Pass: Metal available Pass: Above required VRAM (5726 MB of 1500 MB required) GPU Detected: Apple M1 (APPLE)
Delete CameraRaw folder inside >Libary>Application Support>Adobe. When that is deleted go into Plugins>CC>File Fomats and delete Camera Raw.plugin. Then go into Uninstall and delete ARC_17_2 (should be 2 files with names like that). Then go to the Adobe page where you can download camera raw filter. Download 14.5. Then go back onto that website and download 17.2 again and then reinstall that version from there and it should work. This is all the steps i did and mine is now working fine 🙂

Ive looked in my files and there is NO GPU FOLDER so those files are not present at all. Im completely lost on this literally 2 days ago this was fine (15 of april) and now (17 of april) its messed up and idk why. If i load a .CR2 file and go to performence settings and check the GPU one it for some reason says its not supported, which makes no sense as its been working fine up until now and as u see in those screenshots on the main most the GPU is fully supported on photoshop. This is a screenshot of camera raw on its own. I got onto this screen by opening a .CR2 file and then pressed the cog wheel in the top right corner.
