Data Loss and "Unexpected End-of-File" Error in Photoshop 2025 and Beta (Export Issue)

New Here ,
Mar 03, 2024 Mar 03, 2024

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with both Photoshop 2025 and the Photoshop beta. The issue is feom last one week (today is March 04, 2024) before that every thing was working fine.  Whenever I edit a file and attempt to export it, the exported version gets corrupted. Here's a breakdown of the problem:

  • JPEG Export: The exported JPEG file loses data, resulting in a white box instead of the edited image.
  • PSD Export: Saving the edited file as a PSD corrupts it. When I try to reopen the PSD, I receive an "unexpected end-of-file encountered" error.

Details:

  • I'm using both Photoshop 2025 and the Photoshop beta. I am using zbook G2 with M2000M graphic processor and windows 11.
  • The corruption occurs regardless of the editing process or file type.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@zaheer34220317t6ft I assume you mean an Nvidia quadro M2000M GPU, that GPU only has a feature level of 11.0, Photoshop requires a GPU with a feature level of 12.0 and above
